After researching our internal records, you called multiple times to dispute the balance on the account. Our agents advised you that the adjustment on the account would zero out the balance. We have processed the adjustment and your balance is zero. In addition, we notified the collection agency to stop collection calls. action to correct them.
Upon reviewing your account, you called on January 3, 2017, and spoke to Account manager Lizzie, and requested to cancel your account due to the price increase. Lizzie advised there was a price increase from January 1, 2016 to January 1, 2017 as indicated on page 2, section 4 of Sales Agreement, Waste Management reserves the right to increase the charges payable by customer during the term. Lizzie offered to negotiate the rates and you declined, and requested a copy of your Sales Agreement which you signed on January 7, 2012.  Please see attached service agreement and, due to your request to cancel, attached is the option letter.
[redacted] failed to give Waste Management notice of termination within Section 2's allotted time period. Therefore the Agreement automatically renewed for an additional 36-months.
[redacted] can still elect to cancel the Agreement; per Section 7 of the Agreement, will contractually owe liquidated damages for early termination.

After researching our internal records, you called June 26, 2017 regarding the payment made to Waste Management for the April, May and June quarter. Your new hauler, that started service 04/01/17, was quoting you a price lower than what you paid Waste Management. Our representative, Tonya, called and explained that the payment made to Waste Management was submitted to the new hauler and you would want to reach out to them regarding any refund. Again, please accept our apologies for the frustration caused by this situation.

I had made a 24 month contract for $20.96 per month for trash and recycling services with Deffenbaugh Industries which was signed on 11/01/2015. Shortly after, Waste Management purchased Deffenbaugh. I continued to be charged the same rate which was signed in the contract until I received my bill in April of 2017 which shows a monthly increase of $4 per month. I attempted to contact the company and they stated that they will not honor contracts from companies that they acquire.I would like Waste Management to adhere to the contract of the company they acquired at least until the contract period has elapsed.
