exceptional and reliable customer service, and the experience you received does not reflect our standards. We have taken the appropriate action to identify the cause of the error and to prevent this experience from occurring in the future.
On 8/11/2016, [redacted] called to start up service; asked that the account start on 9/1/2016. [redacted] called on 8/23/2016 to say he had not received the container and agent advised him that we did not have any in stock and to allow us two-weeks to get them delivered. On 8/25/2016, operations closed the delivery ticket as completed. On 10/04/2016, we received another call stating the container was never delivered. We then issued another delivery ticket and our operations confirmed it was delivered. Due to the service failure, we issued a credit for September and October, leaving a balance of $40.60. In addition, we ask that your container be placed out on the curb from 6 am to 6 pm.

I had been a long time customer since 2005 and finally decided to cancel my service early July after an increase in their rates every year. I was told over the phone that my container would be picked up on the next scheduled pick-up day, which was the 9th. The person on the phone said it would be picked up on the 7/9. The container has been in front of my house ever since and it is now 9/8. I have called either weekly or bi-weekly requesting that the container be picked up. They keep saying it will be picked up the next scheduled pick-up. I received a bill today for the same can that they refuse to pick up. I called again. They stated their notes say that the drivers have made numerous attempts to pick up the can and it is never out. I told the person that the drivers are lying and that the can has been in front of my house since I cancelled, early July. They stated that a ticket has been submitted for can pick-up and that it will take 7-10 business days for the pick-up.
