The first thing that I will say is that *** Jwas very helpful to me, within the limitations of her job responsibilities
I did as she instructed, and spent some time filling out that affidavit and submitted it to the identity theft departmentJust this afternoon I received a response from that department with what amounted to a screen shot of the transaction which included information that I was already able to obtain on my own by logging into my account and looking at the fraudulent order myselfI was instructed to "utilize local law enforcement resources" - whatever that is supposed to meanIt doesn't explain how someone was able to gain access to my account under Walmart.com, nor does it include any assurance of steps that Walmart may be taking to prevent the hijacking of consumer accounts in the future
So while I appreciated Victoria's feedback greatly, and feel that she did a fine job trying to resolve the issue, within the parameters of her particular position, I do not feel as though I gained any deeper insight to my issueAnd, frankly, I feel that I spent at least an hour of my time filling out a bogus affidavit that availed me nothing
