Why does this company feel like a scam? Who enters bank acount numbers to some random website? I do not even know the company they said I owe money to, must be a scam. Be warned.
I actually like dealing with True Accord. They helped me with a bill I owed. When things raised they helped me schedule my payments as needed. My bill is almost paid. More companies should use True Accord.
I received an email from a person name *** on 2/8 stating she was attempting to collect a debt and the email wanted me to click a link to continue. I kindly wrote back "Hello: I do not use email to communicate about any alleged debt, billing, banking etc., I am just seeing this email and I am not comfortable clicking on link to take me to another site I am not aware of. Since my identification has been comprised twice and just recently with *** I only visit sites on the internet I am aware of with a secure server. I am more than happy to discussed any issues you/*** are claiming. Please send me any documents of this debt.as I do not recall owing *** any money. My mailing address is; *** The statement I provided clearly stated I am willing to communicate whatever their concerns were but not by email. This month in March I received an email from a person name *** stating the same claim. I ignore the email. Today 3/20 I received an email stating they see I have open 5 of their email and refuse to take action. I have not opened 5 email and ignore only two emails and even if I received 15 emails. I asked them nicely to contact me with the validation of the debt they claim I owe to the address given. I also explain that I have been a victim of identity theif and will not take the risk of opening any link. So, if they wish to resolve, or send me validation of this debt. Which I have the right to asked them to do. Below is the email I received today: ***, you've opened 5 emails but we still haven't heard from you. How can we help? Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Sincerely, ***
I agree with the action TrueAccord is taking upon receiving the validation of the Debt I will respond immediately. If they had accept my first request this matter probably would have either resolve or discuss in reaching a solutions. Again I will respond and appreciate the corporation of the company.
I am sick of getting emails that look so fake. I never subscibed to any of these emails...scammers...for all I know. They even went as far as using a persons name to try to entice me to comply. Wrong!!! I do not trust this company as far as I could throw it, .... and that is not far.
If this place is legit, then do everything by the book....not your own rules.

We have made note of this consumer's concerns regarding the look and feel of our emails and are constantly working to improve our messages and consumer experience.
My past due account was recently sent to them to be pursued. I have no issue with this part. I have an issue with receiving an email that states a persons name, that according to the company when you call, that person does not exist. According to ***, that I spoke to on the phone, the automated account manager, is a false name made up to be sent in the email. I feel this is false representation. If a persons name is used for you to contact at the company, that person should be a legal and existing person.
We are sorry that *** is unhappy with our use of pseudonyms for our automated agent system. We strive to be transparent in our use of automated agents and have a list of all agent names on our website at ***. We maintain our use of these pseudonyms in compliance with all state and federal laws. This complaint has been submitted for further review to our legal department to determine if further action is needed to clarify in our messages that we use automated agents.
Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
solely based on the fact that, at this time, there are a huge, and I mean HUGE amount of scam emails, text messages, calling cell numbers that I receive on a daily basis from scammers. Not using a true, physically alive and legitimate person makes me not trust this company in any way or form, to want to relay any type of information with them. Especially personal information such as: address, social security number and so on. It leaves to wonder if any of it is legit. I am not out against the company. And as I stated, I do not deny I owe this debt. I just strongly feel that this is not a legitimate way to represent yourself, your collections company, in the age and times we live in and all the scams going on. Sincerely,Samantha Rupert
