Best collection company ever . I wish they had ALL my accounts . They were not annoying . They didn’t call me everyday all day hella annoying . They only ever communicated via email . When you click the link in the email it takes you right to a page where you can pay . It’s very very hassle free . Don’t have to log in or put an account number or social . So that’s a big plus for me . They also offer monthly payments or pay in full directly from the link in email . I be paying my collection bill on my next pay . They are truly amazing . I never called customer service , but I’m sure if /when I do the service will be Just as great . Thank you so much

They keep trying to contact me about a debt that was resolved with the courts in the 90's. I will not respond to their email as I feel it is a scam.

I keep getting emails from this company which is starting to get annoying for a debt that is not mine, this is either a scam or fraud and you have the wrong person. It says I owe the Home Shopping Network money and you're trying to collect when we don't even have TV in order to watch the *** and until today I've never even visited there website. I actually had to look up what it was. I'm fully aware of what debts I owe and am aware of what my credit report looks like and this is starting to feel like a scam that I'm being harassed for as this isn't a company I owe money to. Not to mention every email I get from this person that says they work for you sends me a different looking email each time. I'm afraid to even click any of the links in the email in case its a phishing scam. So I came to report it to the Revdex.com and here instead, after I did some *** around as to who this company even was.

TrueAccord made it easy to make payments while keeping my monthly installments at a sustainably affordable level. The customer service reps I worked with throughout the year regarding general questions or changing payment dates were always very professional and understanding. I was never hiding from my debt. I was hiding from the annoying debt collectors who were reading from scripts attempting to coerce me into making payments that I knew I couldn’t handle following two years of poor health and personal tragedies which left me bereft and heavily challenged financially.
TrueAccord switched the script by eliminating it all together. After following a link in an email from TrueAccord, in less than five minutes I was able to acknowledge the debt and set up a payment plan that I could easily manage. I chose a payment amount, a bi-weekly payment schedule and payment by debit card. No other collection agency had been so flexible in these three aspects of a payment plan. This is smart business practice.
I received regular electronic payment reminders and payment confirmations from TrueAccord. Dare I say it was exciting to watch my debt gradually disappear with each communication. Poof! In less than a year my account is paid in full without a hitch. So simple!
I can’t believe I am saying this to a collection agency but thank you TrueAccord, you did great!

This company keeps sending emails for waiter the wrong person or is attempting fraud. There are trying to collect a debt from a creditor that I am in good standings with and have zero balance. I have contacted the creditor and they have no records of this company or anything that would support there claim. The second red flag is this company is saying it’s a debt from over 20yrs ago. I know I was not and nor did I have an account with the creditor they claim to have in file. I have asked for proof of the debt in writing and received no response to my verified letter or request. Since then they send emails more often.

Wow! I can't believe I'm actually saying this, but you are the best collections company I have ever encountered. Your business ethics/ practices, your collection methods, have all superseded my expectations! Thank you :)

I purchased a product from a company name Eero. A third party business named Affirm handled the payments for this product. I returned the product, they provided a refund to the third party company then I was sent to collections. I tried resolving the issue by providing proof that I had returned the product and gave TruAccord the information needed to confirm if needed. Instead they filed a report with the credit reporting agencies.
Now I can’t get my credit fixed because they refuse to follow up and do the right thing. Now they are expecting me to pay them over $400 for a product I returned and never even used. There is no logic in these business ethics.

On April 5, 2019, TrueAccord, Corp. received the Revdex.com complaint filed by ***. We take every complaint seriously and wish to resolve this matter amicably.As an initial matter, TrueAccord started in 2014 as a collection agency built to fundamentally change collections into a recovery and reconciliation process. One of our guiding principles is treating our consumer-customers with dignity and respect. We are licensed and bonded agency. TrueAccord is accredited with the Revdex.com. We maintain a full-time, internal compliance department that established our policies and procedures to exceed the minimum regulatory requirements of the state, federal and local laws governing collections. Our in-house training program instructs our agents on these policies, including annual refresher courses.
We appreciate the opportunity to address ***’s concerns. TrueAccord does not own the account in question. On November 8, 2018, our client placed the account in our office for collection. On January 22, 2019, we received a dispute from *** about the account and requested validation documentation from our client. We provided *** the debt validation documents from our client on March 8, 2019, and resumed collections. The debt validation included the original loan agreement and a statement from the client confirming the balance due. We received an additional dispute on March 21, 2019. We provided *** the same debt validation documents from our client on April 10, 2019, and processed the complaint as a cease and desist. On April 10, 2019 the account was closed in our office.
TrueAccord does not credit report. If *** has any further questions on the status of his account, we urge him to reach out to the original creditor.

I am rejecting this response because: I returned the item and I provided proof it was returned. I am not paying for an item I returned and have full proof of returning. I asked for proof of the account twice because I provided proof it was returned and it doesn’t make any logical sense to pay for an item that I do not own. I have the proof from fedex and from Eero the company that I purchased the product from.

If I owned this item then sending me to collections would make sense. None of what Truaccord has done has made any sense.

On April 22, 2019, TrueAccord, Corp. received ***’s rejection to our answer to his initial complaint. We hope that the new information provided in this update will satisfy his concerns.
As mentioned in our earlier correspondence, TrueAccord does not own the account in question. It is owned by our client who placed the account with us for collection services on November 8, 2018.
Our client had to reach out to the merchant concerning the return of the item as the receipt *** provided showed the return happened on November 28, 2018, after the account had been charged-off and placed with TrueAccord for collection services. TrueAccord heard back from our client who spoke with the merchant. The merchant confirmed the item had been returned. The merchant is in the process of refunding the loan in full which will satisfy the account. Therefore, our client recalled the account from our office. On April 10, 2019 we closed the account in our office. *** will not receive any more communication from TrueAccord about this account.
As we mentioned earlier, TrueAccord does not report to the credit reporting agencies. If this appears on ***’s credit bureau report, he can reach out to our client for additional information concerning credit reporting agencies (we understand *** did reach out to our client through the Revdex.com complaint system as well).

I am rejecting this response because: Trying to communicate to you previously through email was obviously in-effective hence the reason we came to this conclusion. You even stated everything was correct and returned on my end proving this should be removed from my credit standing. And I did communicate with Affirm about this in this exact same matter as you are both obviously refusing to accept responsibility for my credit issue.

You also stated dates that my return was issued, this is correct. However your reporting to the credit agencies was “After” I provided proof of the return.

Obviously no more communication is needed because neither of your companies is willing to resolve my issue.
