I used Innovative Funding Services to refinance an automobile. The new loan closed in July 2017. The old lender sent the title to Innovative Funding Services. Innovative Funding services has not sent the title to the new lender, nor have they placed a lien on the title for the new lender. This loan closed 14 weeks ego. Either Innovative Funding is trying to steal my car, or they are incompetent.

In the State of Florida, the electronic titling tool used by the state only details your new lender as "Consumers Credit Union". However, our loan documents and the bank's correct name is "Consumers Cooperative Credit Union". When the title application was submitted, most counties allows wrong bank name to be scratched out and the correct bank name to be added. However, Hillsborough county rejected the title application. IFS is working to get this issue corrected. The second time that the correct information was sent to the State of Florida, they rejected it again even though it was submitted correctly. IFS is working with the Florida Department of Motor Vehicle Supervisor to assist in getting the lien perfected. We apologize for the delay but there are things outside of our control but we are working on resolving the issues directly with the Florida DMV.

I am rejecting this response because:This transaction took place in late June/early July 2017. It has been more than 90 days since this transaction has been executed and for a broker to justify that this is till not resolved AFTER they have been fully paid is unacceptable.

The broker has failed to return my calls, has failed to rectify their error, has failed to keep me informed.

More importantly, the problem has not been resolved in what is now about 100 days. Why not?

The Florida Department of Motor Vehicles has finally processed your title. The title will be held electronically. I have attached a lien confirmation pulled from the FL website for your review. IFS would like to apologize for the delay but it seems that the DMV office in Hillsborough had an employee that was rejected our mailed in applications. She preferred to have them walked into the office. After elevating this issue to her supervisor, the title was finally processed. IFS would like to apologize for the delay.
