The manager at Terminix office in Sterling VA Steve refuses to repair termites damage on my property as per the contract between us

I have been a customer with Ultimate Plan and termite since 2013, I have a property with detached garage, guest house shed and barn I signed the contract with Terminix to service all the property and since; they have been servicing the whole property including the garage, shed etcas per the contract between us Couple of weeks ago (September19th) they scheduled a termite inspection between 5-7pm No one showed up or called to cancel I called the next day to complain, they apologized and rescheduled for the next day between 10-12pm No one showed up nor called again I called again and no one answered I called the number they tried to contact the branch, no one picked up A week later I received a call from a certain Steve from the branch rescheduling a new appointment
Finally the inspector arrived and

Terminix Hawaii: I'd like to share my experience with this company so that all are aware of some of their negative traits including deceptive practices During tenting of my home in the beginning of August 2016, a skylight was damaged This skylight is a ventarama type No one from the company told me about the damage I noticed the damage only after I went on the roof for a routine inspection about couple days after the tenting work I immediately called Terminix and they sent their "manager" to see if the claim was legitimate Note that it took several calls to finally get a response from them I had preferred that they find a contractor to do the repairs but they told me that it would be faster if I did it then send them the bill Since the skylight would leak if not repaired I agreed I finally contacted a skylight contractor and the work was done on *** The invoice was sent to Terminix by email through their manager handling this case He informed me I would be paid within to weeks After that period I called the manager to ask the status of the payment After several unreturned calls, texts, and emails he let me know that he couldn't find the billing and to send another one which I did immediately I kept calling to check the status and sent the same invoice another two times with the last being on *** During that time I had requested compensation for late payment and they said they would consider it if approved by "higher up"I also told them I would accept credit for future work I finally got paid after about five months on *** My request for late payment was denied (no reason stated) The following are my concerns for Terminix: 1) Payment for damage they caused should not take months; 2) in the process, calls/texts/emails were only returned after threats; and 3) their payment practice is deceptive at best...the date they used for "Invoice Date" was*** and not ***In my opinion, this apparently justified not compensating me for late payment I don't know the law on this but I should have been compensated for late payment including all the grief I suffered

Sub contractors beware days later and still not paid for work done painted a ceiling and repaired ceiling for a terminix customer on november days later still not paid contractors do not do work for this office they will not pay you they will give you every excuse in the book and not call you back all contractors ypuve been warned

Our contract agreement has not been met, the services provided did not work as they guaranteed and our pest issues are worse & can't afford to move

On Friday 9/23/I had a termite inspection, the inspector said I needed a heat treatment on my patio coverI scheduled the treatment for Friday 9/30/On Monday 9/26/16, at 7:51am I cancelled the heat treatment, because I thought it was a little expensive and I wanted to get s second opinion, the lady on the phone stated it wasn't a problem and that they would refund my moneyThat same afternoon they came out and did the treatment, even though I had cancelled itI was unaware they had done the treatment until a guy knocked on my door at 7:00pm that night (9/26/16) to tell me they had broken a pipe in my backyardHe was a nice guy, and he came back the next day and fixed the pipe, no issue thereThe following morning I called terminix and told them what happened, the lady on the phone said she sent a request to the local office

I had an inspector come out from your S*** office to look at my house for termitesHe told me my house was infested and needed to be tented and fumigate He then gave me a sheet of proposed services along with a payment plan I then had more termite control services come and look at my home All said I did not have any termite issues Clearly your employee only wanted to sell a product and was not honest in his appraisal Dishonesty is not a very good business practice

Charges for service not as agreed to When the Inspector verbal quoted me a price of $2396, I got billed from a finance company of $No contract
Was verbally quoted a price of $by the Inspector to treat for termitesThe only thing I was told to sign was a machine that the Inspector told me authorized the technicians to come on my property to perform their services I never received a paper copy of the contract that detail exactly what the services were days later I got a notice from a finance company whose letterhead say "$MAC" No address or phone number on the paper The letter did not state a total amount due only that I owed them $per month for months If I paid it off early I would have to pay a nominal service charge Again I have no paper contract outlining what I owe or that I was going to be turned over to a financing company with no terms outlined The only thing I signed was what the Inspector told on the machine was an authorization for them t

They can't seem to keep a scheduleI had these guys once before and left them because they couldn't keep a time and date straitI would often take off of work so they could come on Monday or Friday but then just wouldn't show up I come back to them as I really need to kill off the bugs around my houseThis was the second chance for themI was allowed to make an appointment for Saturday between 8-The inspector showed up but the tech didn'tI called the 1-number as was informed that the tech was still hours outThis is so unacceptable, nothing has changed here do lot waste your time or money on these peopleAnyone else has to be better then these guys

Since June 22, 2018, I have been in contact with the Escondido office as well as central customer support to resolve the issue on non-performance on the last service callRepeated attempts to have the matter escalated to ensure that the service would be creditedTerminix has failed repeatedly to meet any of their commitments to contact me regarding this on going issue

We were Terminex customers for years and were generally satisfied with their in-home serviceHowever, their scheduling process was a nightmareWe would receive an email telling us when a service person was comingIf it was inconvenient, it was very difficult to change because the service person would not get the new appointment time and would show up on the original dayOf course, we wouldn't be home and would have to rescheduleIt was almost like the scheduling department and the local service teams never communicatedWe finally cancelled our service because we were continually aggravated
