The company treated my home for bed bugs and damaged multiple pieces of furniture
I contracted Terminix to treat my home for bed bugsThe contract was for multiple treatments so they could ensure the problem was resolved completelyThey came out for the first treatment and treated my homeOn the second treatment, the same technician that came out the first time showed up againI left my home and he completed the second treatmentWhen we arrived back home we had found that the technician took a knife and cut large holes in the bottom of multiple pieces of my furnitureI attempted to contact the supervisor multiple times and never got a response and eventually contacted the branch managerI explained the situation and told them that I needed to open a claim for damaged furnitureHe told me just to cut the bottom off of my furniture completely so that it isn't hanging downI finally am getting my life back to semi and realized that the claim I requested to get the furnit
Wichita,KS- Sales person committed to an outside treatment AND to take down ALL spiderwebs and wasp nests under the porches and under the eaves First tech treated but did not take down ALL the cobwebs and wasp nests Called Tetminix and they sent another tech out who bad mouthed the work of the first tech And then told me they only clean where they can reach from the ground with a pole Called Terminux twice more and both times they told me they would send someone out with a ladder No one called back either time
Called again and they said they don't do any work on ladders, period! I asked to talk to a manager and for a credit No credit and no call from the manager Called again, cancelled my account and still asked for a credit They said a manager would call about a credit No call from anyone Called again (my last call) and they said the regional manager would be "sent a note" to call you but they couldn't guarantee me I would get a call! Bal so, they said the Wichita, Ks manager had decided not to give a credit and wouldn't be calling me to discuss
Horrible organization Pathetic communication Service group doesn't stand behind what their sales people committed to RUN, DO NOT WALK, AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!
years ago I started a relationship with TerminixMy family and I live in Tampa, FL and it was highly recommended to us that we take out a termite (sub and drywood) plan, and at the time it was also strongly recommended that we invest in their home insulation product
years later, I'm coming back to say this was an absolute waste of nearly $10K Quite simply, their sales person overstated the benefits and warranties and dropped the ball underdelivering on the majority of it The only service years later I can speak highly of is their pest service
The insulation was promised to help with heating/cooling costs as well as provide a barrier for pests The exclusion/extraction service that comes along with it, to keep out rodents but also remove and deodorize the existing attic/insulation was poor at best (found old pink insulation littered with rodent droppings everywhere), rodents were still (and are still getting in)The "Total Protection Policy" is as worthless as the paper they print it on We had technicians out, all identified damage as termite damage with termite frass present; none of the damage coveredThe sales person sold it as "any damage, and we fix it", should have been "any (disclaimer: any means nearly none) damage, and we'll find a reason we don't"
We've talked to regional directors, technicians, and corporate - not a single customer service action taken No apologies, no repairs
I share this experience because I continue to be disgusted each time I go into the attic, every time I hear something move within a wall, every time I walk past a wasps nest hours after service has been performed I share this experience because I think it's important others understand what they are getting into prior to spending hundreds if not thousands of dollars like we did
I do plan on sharing this review through all of social media, as many review sites that I can find for Terminix, and the Revdex.com
If Terminix steps up to the plate, does the right corporate thing and remedy the situation - I'll remove this post or update it Until then, I'll keep sharing my story to help others

Tech turn around rate is highService is terribleThey do not show up on day and time of "scheduled appts" They do not return callsThey respond to extra service request weeks after initial request They will give you all kinds of reasons why YOU didn't request things in the right waySometimes you luck out and get a great techone that returns your calls and shows up in a reasonable amount of time after a requestI havent had one of those in probably yearsMy current tech is friendly and polite in personfabulousThis does not help me if I cannot get serviced when requestedThis is a businessThey obviously do not value everyones businesshave been a customer , this time around since Clearly, ive been beyond patientLooks like its time for a new companyagain
* for those who wonder whyI stayed so long with a company that treats its customers so nonchalantly: laziness and convenienceI didnt want to start the whole figuring it out process with someone elsebut they have exceeded even my low bar and threshold for laziness
terminix sent a pregnant inspector to check my resident - supposed to send out another inspector but never did
on 08/21/a inspector came out - but was told by terminix that the inspector that came out was not the one to inspect what I had concerns about
call terminix several times requesting my money back because they never sent no one else out - I call them several times regarding this issue- I paid for the pest control service which - and they keep calling me about a payment- I gave money to the guy that came out -
Wonderful serviceHad a terrible mouse problem and they set up traps, baits and even made changes physically to eliminate the entry points on my homeI HIGHLY recommend anyone having these issues to call Terminix
Called them to come out and quote termite control purchased the year plan was not offered the year plan Paid over $up front for the service
called and wanted to sign up just for the year plan and was promised a refund of a little over $ this has been going on for months and still no refund Called and was told the credit was showing on the account and check would be sent still no check All I want is my refund that is due me
We used Terminix Laguna Hills office to tent and fumigate our houseThey charged us $5K to do the jobOn the front end Jon the field rep was so nice and accommodatingLots of friendly banter and suchHe came by a couple of times prior to check in with usWe left the house early last Friday morning and returned late the following Monday nightWhen we came in we found broken glass on the dining room floorAnd someone had used the bathroom, which was disgustingWe had inadvertently left a half bottle of Cabernet on the kitchen counterWhen we got back the empty bottle was in the sink and one of our lawn chairs was pulled up just outside the doorThe next morning we noticed that our roof was in terrible shapeThere is entire areas where the terra-cotta tile is just destroyedWe did sign a waiver saying that there might be some damage to the roof, and Terminix was not responsible for any damageJon led us to believe that the damage would be minimal, if at allWell, the damage is extensive and will cost $4K to fixI called Jon to tell him about the damageHe had not checked in with us at all after the fumigation was completeHe answered has phone, but as soon as he realized that I had a complaint about the condition of the roof, he acted like his signal was going away and he couldn't hear me Jon was johnny on the spot on the front end, but on the back end he appears to have dropped off the map Now we are into this for the $5K plus the $4K for the roof, the worst company EVER !!
Technicians did not show up to two appointments without even calling and the problem has not been even addressed
We contacted terminix for a roach problemWe are currently trying to sell our houseWe initiated service months agoThe initial spray was somewhat efficient but the tech missed the two week follow up therefor the population had a chance to reestablish itselfThe next time he actually showed he sprayed a very small area seemingly inefficiently once again missing his week follow upThey have done nothing to make anything rightAnd they claim the money back guarantee is days even though we complained well before then
Confirmed with *** at customer service that the billing is sent out months in advance of actual due date However, due date as displayed on bill is also months before actual due date In another place on the bill it also requests the bill to be paid months in advance This practice is misleading and probably has customers paying well in advance and providing Terminix with revenue from interest that should be the customers

Unable to get rid of ants or spiders repeatedly called back and backm According to terms of Service Agreement I am to receive back my last cost of service I got told no because it was applied even though it did not work and the employee who was sick of coming out told me to get another company...so I did, The office manager said that I don't get the refund Well, their agreement says they will refund if the product does not work and it DON'T! The first time I dealt with Terminix at Gaithursberg, Maryland, a Terminix staff claimed that they sprayed chemical at my house while I was not present, and the company billed me for itI had proof and witnesses that the service was not given as claimedI later spoke to the manager and he rescheduled the service, for which I paid with pleasureThree months later another Terminix bill came for $99, claiming that they have sprayed chemical again, although I didn't request itNeither was I present when the alleged spray took placeI called the manager, as usual, and he said that I had a quarterly service, which to my knowledge I never signed forHe said he will not waive the chargesNow in view of the repeat of such billing, I notice a pattern of deliberate unlawful billing for service not deliveredI have escalated the problem to the head office, as they need to be aware and protect their reputationI have also reported the matter to Revdex.com

Two weeks prior to date, I made my appointment to spray for fleasI called the day of service to confirm they were comingI was told I was confirmedThe technician did not come at the agreed timeI called and was told I'd have to wait another hours to hours more because the Technician, Jamal was behindI waited another hours and then received a call from JamalI was told he was not trained to spray for fleas and that he could not do itHe tried to reach a Manager to see what to do, but no one answered I spend a total of hours waiting for a technician and instead I was left to fight off fleas for another night, there be no accountability with management on how shabby their customer service is and felt completely disgusted with the entire affair

I am very disappointed with this company, I spoke to a representative and we schedule services for 9/19/between 8am-4pm and took my credit card info he confirmed me the the date and timeToday 9/I call to get updates on time just to find out that they had services scheduled for 9/I was placed on hold times for minutes + when requested to speak to a supervisor and I also requested to speak to my local branch supervisorAgents weren't able to get a supervisor on the lineI feel the representative gave me information just to make me commit to the treatment and now that I have a complaint the local branch no one is availableI was assured terminix would show up today and it was a lie and no one was able to help me out and try to send someone out today
the company is fast on calling back when you request a quote but not when you encounter issues or have a complaint
