Prior to submitting your request, we provided you with a
contract page to review and verify the information being entered was correct.
We confirmed the contract page showed check-in on Friday, Jun 10th and
check-out on Sunday, June 12th. We contacted the hotel to see if an exception
could be offered, but we were advised it was non-changeable and non-refundable.
We are sorry if you entered the wrong dates by mistake; however, we are unable
to make any changes or cancellations to your reservation as requested.

I am rejecting this response because:I spoke to the hotel and the clerk assured me I would not be charged.  I spoke to [redacted] from Priceline while she called the hotel and they affirmed that I had canceled before 12/25.  So, Priceline's words are not the same as what Von* stated.

I have received the consumer’s additional comments. As you requested, I have again reviewed this matter to see if we overlooked anything that might support a more favorable conclusion. According to the consumer, the [redacted] on [redacted] is not a 4 star property as requested. We are sorry that the consumer is not satisfied with the quality of her Name Your Own Price/Express Deals hotel accommodations. All properties offered through priceline.com have been evaluated according to the specific star level standards that we have developed exclusively for our program and described on our web site. While the consumer may feel that this property should have a different star rating or is rated differently by other groups, we are confident that our evaluation of this property meets all standards listed under Priceline’s 4 star hotel guide. We have researched to find that the confirmed hotel does meet our expectations for the star rating selected on our website. Our competitors also rate this hotel as follows:

Express Deal reservation, we provided the consumer with a virtual map to view
where the hotel could be located within the Downtown - Marina area that was
selected. We confirmed the confirmed hotel is within the area, and we confirmed
the guest checked in as scheduled. We are sorry if the consumer is unhappy with
the location received; however, the reservation is non-changeable,
non-refundable and non-transferable. We are sorry that we are
unable to assist the consumer any further in this situation.

the reservation. Our records show that you disputed the charges with your credit card company. Our system automatically cancelled the reservation the dispute was initiated. We contacted our Chargeback Department and verified your concern. They advised that we can process a refund for your reservation.
A refund request for $159.10 was submitted today, November 3, 2015. The request needs to go through a review process which does take time to complete. You should be receiving an update within the next two weeks regarding this request.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: I was told inconsistent facts by different reps and purchased some insurance so at the very least we should be fully refunded for the rental car.  I do find it crazy that a company decides to try out priceline with the hopes of it ending up being our go to travel arrangement site but instead of offerring quality customer service (as clearly there were some agents I spoke with that flat out lied to me)  and also refunding us some of the cost of the reservation with a penalty like most direct airlines do, you'd rather lose out on thousands of dollars of business down the line.  I spent hours out of my work day trying to sort this out as your reps had me calling airlines when they had no part.  I was even told that the penalty amount was the airline's thing and not Priceline, whereas the airline told me it was priceline's which later I found out was true.  I believe these are unethical business practices as you are misleading your customers in more ways than one.Sincerely,[redacted]

Our website did not show that we offered a larger room. The rates displayed on our site are rates pulled from several sources and are displayed to our customers. There is no indication offering a larger/different room for additional rates. The offer is for a room with 1 king or 2 standard beds. .
