I am rejecting this response because: Basically Priceline is selling a worthless insurance policy. Please read the quoted passage below from their webpage:"100% Trip Cancellation and Trip
Interruption Protection reimburses
for cancellations due to unforeseen illness of traveler, family members and
traveling companions, death in the family, job loss, natural disaster at
departure or destination city or other specified events."The last part of exclusion "Other specified events", means that other events that traveler can specify as reasons. It does not say that they control the specification of those events. If they have every control then what am I paying the Insurance for? Basically then insurance policy is worthless. They paddling shoddy and worthless insurance policy. So they are responsible for my loss. I can actually prove that much in the court of law.

and 10 p.m., and that you will arrive no later than 12:30 a.m. the next day.
The itinerary that was provided is within the set guidelines.
 
As for your travel insurance, I reviewed your contract
page and it shows that we disclosed the information "100% Trip

I apologize, however, your reservation is restricted. It

I am rejecting this response because:I would be more than happy for the Revdex.com to contact the manager at the hotel. As indicated from the beginning , I never requested a full refund on the one room when I called to cancel, even though it was only 3 hours past the allowed time . The Priceline representative offered to call the business and ask them to waive the fee. Since I had just hung up from them and knew they would , I was surprised by the response from the Priceline rep. The fact is that Priceline NEVER called the business, never spoke to any manager there and NEVER. Had a recording of the alleged call. They continued to lead me to believe that if I could get the hotel to agree to a refund I would intact receive one. Now that I have spent many hours in the phone and email proving the hotel in fact is happy to have Priceline refund the money, the response now changes to "read the cancelation policy ". Thank you to everyone at the Revdex.com for the time spent helping in this matter . It appears that Priceline is running a shoddy practice and rewrds it's employees if they lie to their customers . I sure hope that, at the bare minimum , this complaint will remain online for others to see if they are considering doing business with this "company".

I am rejecting this response because: an exception was going to be made because of my situation. See attached screenshots from online conversation with Priceline associate in previous message. I know now to book right through the hotel rather than a third party because if I did book right through the hotel, I would've gotten a refund. I did not use the hotel stay and some sort of compensation should be provided. I will no longer book through Priceline ever or other third party businesses. I will also forewarn my business associates, family, and friends. This is a poor choice for a company policy. Sorry but you've gotten too much of my hard earned money for nothing in return and you're company has given me stress over your [redacted] return policy after one of your associates says it was possible to get a return. Hence the involvement of Revdex.com. I am very unsatisfied and I know I'm not the only one this is happening too.

I am rejecting this response because:The hotel rate was initially listed in USD in the website and changed to TWD on the  booking process.  Therefore it was difficult to find the hidden cost. I have attached a copy of the receipt from the Congress Plaza hotel, which showed their aftertax daily rate $113.98 was used as the  pretax rate in the Priceline's summary of charges.

I have received the consumer’s additional comments. As you requested, I have again reviewed this matter to see if we overlooked anything that might support a more favorable conclusion. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can add to what has already been stated in our previous correspondence.  The consumer selected [redacted] property, and flights, at the disclosed package rate. Room rates fluctuate based on many factors, including availability at the time of purchase.   As a goodwill gesture, and exception to the non-refundable policy, the consumer was offered the option to cancel the hotel portion of the vacation package. I am rejecting this response because:Yes, your policy states that a valid credit card must be presented, however, your company website provides false information. The express deals option gave me a list of 6 similar 3 1/2 star hotels. 2 of which DO NOT REQUIRE a security deposit, and 4 of which are not even in the area in which I requested. The website does state that there is a $10 per room per night charge to cover such hotel fees. So with the information given, one such as myself, was lead to believe the hotel fee was the amount that was needed on the valid card.  In which case, we wouldn't be having this problem.I also have not received ahy payment as of yet. NOr do I feel that I am at fault.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:Quite typically of Priceline's dishonest behavior, they have failed to address the origins of this complaint regarding it's website regarding the purchase and it's scam section "Name Your Own Price." Why have they not, and continue to not address that? Upon trying to disengage from that section, after not getting the price I'd entered into the box, my account was still charged. Their dubious behavior is further reflected by their fraud department surreptitiously contacting me on March 20th, after I'd complained about their website. They'd concocted some nonsense about my bank claiming that my name did not match the credit card used. My bank had no idea as to what I was talking about. Priceline was forced to admit that it was just a ruse they sometimes use. Seriously? I lost an hour of pay dealing with that nonsense. They are quite simply a very dubious company based on their scam website and customer service, or very serious lack of I should say. I am rejecting this response because:  Priceline needs to alter its business practice. People make mistakes and they need to create new policy to encompass this. They need a flash warning prior the finalizing transaction, stating Booking is not free cancellation.  Also,  2 day cool off period for altering booking, this would help with people who make mistakes. In reality, I did not "name my price"for this booking. My price wasn't accepted, they then named a price which I accepted.

submitted, when you booked the reservation, you saw that free shuttle was advertised from Denver Airport to the hotel and back. However, when you arrive at the airport, the shuttle was not free and you will have to pay 40 USD plus tax. You then took a cab going to the hotel since there is an hour interval for the next shuttle and took [redacted] going back to the airport which costs you additional 129.00 USD. You are requesting that we reimburse you this amount.   I have carefully reviewed your reservation and verified that indeed, we advertised that shuttle is available however, we did not guarantee the shuttle for free. Once reservation is booked, we are not able to change what was presented in the checkout page. Although we did not advertised the shuttle service for free, we made a decision to refund you the cost of your cab and [redacted] ride to/from the hotel as a gesture of goodwill.
