I ordered and paid for two Christmas dresses from Southern Tots, and now their wedsite is shut down. What can be done to recoup the money that I paid them?
I understand Southern Tots pre-order policy, although my complaint is the inability to contact Southern Tots. I emailed this company once on Facebook regarding my pre order, and received reply that purchase would ship in early December. On Dec.19th, I attempted to email again, but my account has been blocked and said this person isnt able to receive messages from me. Reminder, I only contacted them once. I should be allowed to contact a company's customer service regarding my order. They also removed their contact info from their website. I found a number on this site, but no answer. Buyer beware.
I absolutely LOVE Southern Tots Ruffle pants. Best quality and style I can /could find. I read and knew all the pre-order information and understood there was a wait time. I actually received all of my pre-order ruffle pants, Halloween PJs, turkey outfit, and Santa outfit before I learned they were closing. I only have had positive experiences with ST. I didn't like when they stopped doing FB sales and free shipping, but that is it.
I've ordered with Southern Tots twice. The first order was great and my order was received very quickly. The second order was placed mid August and was a pre-order. I was initially led to believe it was to ship late September. I contacted them via email late September and didn't hear from them. I finally posted on their Facebook page and someone responded saying my order was there and waiting to ship. I finally received a reply from customer service saying they would ship in November. I went back to look at my response on Facebook and it had been deleted, as had my order request from August 15 that listed the ship date. I still cannot get an answer from them regarding my order as their customer service isn't responding.
I ordered myself Christmas pajamas to match my son on Christmas morning over a month in advance. They say they will ship in stock items (it was in stock) within 7-10 business days. If you monogram it, it will be an additional 2-3 weeks. So, I naturally chose not to monogram it and have a friend do it. That way I was assured to have my pajamas to match my son. It's been over 11 days... I have contacted the company via email multiple times in the last week and all I have gotten is an automated response. I attempted to call the company and all I get is a recording saying they only operate via email! Now, the person who was going to monogram them for me, can't due to her Christmas schedule. I am worried that I am not going to even receive them, so now I don't know what I should do in order to have pajamas to match my sons. I have never been so upset and frustrated with a company! Horrible customer service and total lack of response.

Today is 12/17/15 and I still haven't received this shirt. When I initially ordered, The Southern Tots' website said the shirt would ship out the first week of December. This specialty holiday clothing only has a short timeframe to be worn. It looks like I am closing in on a week if I receive it soon. I initially went to call Southern Tots about the location of my order. Their website stated that the preorder will be shipped on the 16th of December and to please not contact their customer service. To add to the situation, Holiday clothing is now discounted 25% off and I haven't even received my full price preordered clothing. I will now be scrambling to find a Christmas outfit for my son to wear to visit Santa, no doubt it will be very expensive so close to the holiday. I'm very very disappointed with this company.

My grandchildren went on a [redacted] train ride on December 10 where children wear Christmas pajamas. What a disappointment that they did not arrive in time. Even worse was the customer service. They won't respond by phone or email. Needless to say, I will never order from this company again. My hope is that potential customers will see this so they don't have to experience this very poor service.
I'm saddened by the closing of Southern Tots. It's been my favorite website to shop for many years since my little girl was a baby. I've purchased both of her first day of school outfits, Christmas dresses, and thanksgiving dresses. Plus lots more outfits. I never had a problem till now when I never received the thanksgiving dress I ordered in October. Kept trying to contact them with no response so I started researching and found they had closed. I was finally refunded my money back but I sure do hate they closed gonna surely miss it.
Ordered an instock item that was set to ship in 7-10 business days. That time passed and I emailed which was met with a generic response that didn't address my question. I finally get a short email stating that instock items ship 7-14 day. That was not the time frame when I ordered and was not contacted of a delay. They also still advertise a instock shipping time frame of 7-10 days. I have not received any other response when I pointed this out and asked for a shipping refund since it was not shipped as advertised. Still have not received answers or my order.
I prerecorded Christmas pjs for my children and never received them. Im trying to find out what is going on and see they are out of business, This is so awful and disgusting. Im a single mom that does not have alot of money trying to do something special for my children. People like this are disgusting and should be so ashamed of themselves. Im truly disappointed that people can take money and not have consequences.
I have emailed several different email addresses; called several phone numbers and reached out to them via their Facebook page. They are not responding and I have not received items I ordered 3 months ago.

Southern Tots accepted payment and did not deliver goods.

I preordered Christmas merchandise and never recieved it nor a refund. The website is down and no way to contact the owner.

Everything has been going wonderful with my cleans. Any of the girls that come into our home from Take Time are great!
