Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution can be close with the following remarks: I spoke with [redacted] regarding the issue with the roof and the underwriters. While I agree with their decision, I found it very unsatisfying that they did not send an inspector to the actual location. [redacted] assured me that the decision was made after a review of the report by their experts. I understand that it is their policy and their business practices. therefore, this issue is being resolved. [redacted]'s customer serves was excellent and he was very police.OOn the issue with the customer service regarding [redacted], I spoke with several managers regarding his lack customer service. Manager [redacted] was very police and she was very apologetic about Mr. [redacted]'s redness and bad customer services. She told me that she will note our conversation, that Mr. [redacted]'s manager will be notified of his actions and what actions will be taken to correct his lack of customer service. I asked to be contacted by Mr. [redacted]'s manager after he had the meeting with the manager to find the results of the meeting whether any actions were taken regarding Mr. [redacted]. I was contacted by katrina, Mr. [redacted]'s manager, the following day. I spoke with her and she told me that she spoke with Mr. [redacted] and look at the notes of the conversation and apologize for the he's bad customer service. She also stated that Mr. [redacted] did speak with a manager when I requested a manager and the manager did gave him the information to give to me. What I found more problematic when [redacted] told me that the supervisor who was giving Mr. [redacted] information was sitting next to Mr. [redacted] during my call listening to the conversation and did not take any action when I asked to speak with the supervisor. This tells me that the supervisor was listening to our conversation and did nothing when Mr. [redacted] refused to transfer me to a supervisor and refused to give me the name of the supervisor that was talking to him. That shows the kind of responsibility and respect USAA has towards its customers even at a supervisor/manager level. Based on the information I received I will accept the business response as resolved but I will never give my business to USAA and will not return to USAA as a customer.
Regards,
[redacted]

October 7, 2016 Lieutenant [redacted], USN Complaint ID #: [redacted] Dear Lieutenant [redacted]: I am responding to your submission regarding your homeowners claim. In the event of a loss, we are responsible for making decisions in accordance with the terms, conditions, and limitations of our policy. I understand you spoke with Ms. [redacted], of our staff, about your concerns on 09/26/16, where she cited USAA’s determination and stance regarding the denial to repair the additional fence damage. An additional member of our staff, Mr. [redacted], provided additional review of the denial and determined that Ms. [redacted]’s stance on the denial to repair the additional fence damage was appropriate. Mr. [redacted] further indicates that Section I, Losses We Do Not Cover, Under Dwelling Protection, of our policy, states we do not insure for damage consisting of or caused directly or indirectly by wear, tear, marring, or deterioration. In addition, the policy states we do not insure for loss caused by faulty, negligent, inadequate, or defective workmanship, repair, construction, renovation, or materials used in repair or construction. Therefore, no coverage would be extended to the fence damage due to the original faulty construction, which was exhibited by the fence’s original construction, by the use of landscape timbers instead of 4x4 posts, wear and tear, and significant rot damage. This information was explained in the correspondence sent to you on 09/25/16, citing USAA’s determining factors for denial of coverage. If you have additional questions, Mr. [redacted] remains available to further explain our decision at [redacted] or [redacted], Extension [redacted]. We appreciate you allowing us to reply to you. Sincerely, [redacted]

appropriate areas based on your feedback. Our records indicate that we sent you an email on October 31, 2015, notifying you of the upcoming changes and the date you would receive your new Visa card. Thank you for speaking with [redacted], of our staff, to address your concerns and who confirmed that you have 90 days from the account closure to redeem your rewards points. Consequently, you received a credit of $1,044.00 after redeeming your points, and a refund check was mailed to your address of record. Please know that the USAA Bank acts in accordance with regulations as well as with our core values of service, loyalty, honesty, and integrity, and we deny any allegations of wrongdoing. Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
USAA did not fully compensate me for my loss due to the high dollar repairs made in the last year. Instead they increased the value of my car to an acceptable level claiming the $700 increase compensated the $2000+ paid in tires and suspension work. The agents claimed that no insurance company adds receipt value for repairs to the market value. Once I refuted their statement with first hand experience that 2 other national companies did in fact add receipt totals to market values for total loss claims, they had no comment. I have accepted the payment offered, but I hope I never have to deal with their insurance company again. This was a very disappointing experience, especially since the accident was in no way my fault which was never in question.Thank you for making this happen as quickly as you did. I was getting no where with my questions and requests without your help.

limitations of our policy. I understand you spoke with [redacted], of our staff, about your concerns. The photos and report provided by Lonestar Roofing, our Preferred Direct Repair Provider (PDRP), prior to their repairs confirmed the fence was already leaning before work took place. The PDRP also re-inspected the fence after it was reported as fallen, and showed there were broken posts with significant rot damage. They also identified that the fence was improperly constructed, as it was built with landscape timbers instead of 4x4 posts, and the additional damage was not the same area previously repaired. Correspondence explaining the denial of coverage has been sent to you. If you have additional questions, Ms. [redacted] remains available to assist you. We appreciate you allowing us to reply to you. Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
I am an honorable discharged disabled veteran of the Vietnam Era
and Gulf War. As any veteran with an honorable discharge I carry the
motto duty, honor, and country as my platform in life. When I wore the military
uniform the country was behind me and the wing master of my density.
As a service member this county has established a moral obligation
and that is to take care of their own. When there is a gap it leaves a
veteran to think in a different direction. This is exactly what has happen with
USAA insurance.
During my active duty period I was an USAA active member and
continued the coverage afterwards. The continuation was extended based solely
upon their level and professionalism due to their affliction with all military
branches. To date, my auto and homeowners insurance policies are active.
I have been a loyal member since the year of 1994. I was
betrayed by USAA due to an auto accident that occurred on November 30,
2016. The other party was cited by an officer with Denver police
department. A citation was issued to the other individual for carless and
reckless driving.
During the accident investigation the opposite party argued with
the officer. The individual left the scene of the accident and returned only
when the officer phone her asked if she was returning. Prior to leaving the
scene the individual used aggressive tacks and profanity towards
me for intimidation purposes.
USSA initially used stonewall tact's by stating they could not
obtain a copy of the accident. The company demanded that I obtain a copy. I
obtained the report and it clear indicates the individual was responsible
for the accident by receiving a citation.
The insurance company still refused to make the repairs to my car
and had me to talk with a special USAA investigator. He requested I give me
another report of the accident although; I had given the company three separate
reports of the accident.
USAA requested that I obtain an estimate for the auto repairs from
[redacted]. I complied with the request but was told by the [redacted]
representative that USAA had not provided them any documentation concerning the
accident. I received a phone call from [redacted] after the visit for the estimate stating
that USAA needed another estimate therefore, I returned at a different date.
To my surprise upon returning for the second estimate it was not
for the fender and bumper damage but an
examination of the entire car. The entire interior and exterior was checked for
its condition. This included examining the door handles, widows, engine, engine
oil, tire treads, etc...). It was basely bumper to bumper inspection as if I
was selling or trading the car.
I was told by the [redacted] representative that USAA who be contacting
me for a decision. USAA gave me numerous claim numbers in which none of them
could be confirmed when I made phone calls in hopes of repairing my car. In
addition to this I sent emails and could not resolve the issue.
A representative from USAA executive office called me
and asked me to give him another report of the accident although; I
had given those three earlier reports. The executive office called only after I
filed grievances with the company.
This accident occurred on November 30, 2016 and USAA has
knowingly, willfully, and purposely used delay tact's by stating they could not
obtain a copy of the accident report, requested a special investigator, two
separate estimates, and executive officer involvement. As an insurer with
current active insurance I am being denied due fair and due process.
The bottom line on this issue is that USAA are playing the race
card game. The other party involved was a white female stating “she had three children
in the car and she had to get them to their nanny.” In addition to this she argued
with the office by saying “how do I know if the damage was not there prior”? It
was clear by the impact marks on her “HIGH PROFILE VEHICLE. USAA bit the bullet
for her and rode off into the sunset to justify another innocent “white woman’s
word” against a black man THEREFORE, she was judge and jury.
