I subscribed to Austin American Statesman in an effort to get information about the state officesOnce I realized this organization had nothing to do with the state offices I started my initial unsubscribing effortsI continue to receive multiple emails a day from this organization and I continue to reply to their emails demanding day remove me from their listThey have yet to remove me and it is maddening and frustrating to continue to receive these publications since I no longer request them, need them, or want them They need to fix their unsubscribe option to truly be and and subscribe option so that individuals can be removed from their publications instead of receiving notification that you have been unsubscribed and yet continue to receive their emails
The Austin-American Statesman did not deliver my paper for about weeks in the middle of my subscription period, but refuses to issue credit for more than weeks, even though they said that they will issue credit for the full amount
They don't send invoices, and their website did not let me log in, their phone number did not work, and their emails said they will respond within hours, but they did not respond for days
Since I complained days after the paper stopped, and not earlier, they are maintaining that days was too late
Nothing in their contract stipulated that it should be done quickly
I also complained repeatedly, until finally delivery restarted
Their first contact and their manager had different stories from each other, and their manager's record of events did not match up with the emails that I got (or did not get from them) For example, they said that I emailed them on June 14, but my records show June 12, Their first contact perso

Austin American Statesman repetitively does not deliver our ordered newspaper despite our numerous calls in to customer service to report daily missed deliveries At this point we have missed more deliveries than we have even received We moved from Houston to Austin and in Houston we ordered the Houston Chronicle for about years and had good service We are horrified by the current delivery service and have put so much effort in to get the paper delivered but they just disregard our calls, lie to us by telling us we will get a re-delivery when we call in before 9am to report the missed delivery and just don't deliver the 1st delivery nor 2nd attempt, even when we call in before am to report the nondeliveryThe service rep always says that a replacement will be delivered same day but the deliverer never delivers that either The delivery of paper stops for about to days, after daily calls we may get a delivery or two or up to days on a couple rare occasions, then it sto
I signed up the newpaper for a special they had on DecMy account was billed on Dec I did not pay attention when I stopped receiving the paper because I figured that the period had expired and I had not responded to the mail so I was no longer receiving the paper Then in Mar I was reviewing my bills and saw that I had been changed $on Feb16, But I was not receiving the paper and had not renewed my request for services So I called and told them I was not receiving the paper and did not wish to renew serviceI was told they would refund my money, then on Mar14th I had $deposited into my account I called the paper again and told them I wanted the full amount refunded; this I believe on Mar15th., I spoke to someone named *** and she said $would be refunded in the next -days I waited and on April 6th I called again because I still had not gotten my reimbursement I first talked to ***a and I told her I was extremely
I was unable to find an option for cancelling my newspaper subscription at the Austin American Statesman website, so I emailed customer service on August 19th to cancel my subscription immediately I received an email reply the next day; however, the message indicated "This is not a cancellation confirmation." Checking my account status online, I continued to see my account listed as "active." I mailed a letter on August 23rd asking why my clear instructions had not been followed and for a second time asking that my account be closed and any unfulfilled portion of my subscription be refunded to me I received no response to my letter, and on September 16th, the Austin American Statesman processed an unauthorized payment (which I have disputed) to my USAA credit card of $
This are dishonest business practices to entrap former subscribers and offer no way for them to cancel their former service
I am so sick and tired of calling in complaints to the Austin American Statesman! They have the worst customer service I have ever encounteredFor well over years I have been calling, calling, and calling complaining about the carrier not putting our newspaper on our front porch!! I have health issues and I have made multiple request to have our newspaper put on our front porchOur carrier seems to think he can put it wherever the hell he/she wants toMost days I find it under our vehicle which we can't reach without moving the vehicleOther days it is thrown in our bushes and vines, where we have to reach and reach for itI have tried numerous times to contact the carrier's manager to complain but, I've NEVER received a call backI want a manager to speak to regarding these issuesThis newspaper is expensive and I think consumers should be provided with better customer serviceIf I wanted our newspaper hung on our back door, that's where I should find it EVERY DAY!!! Please provided a Manager's phone number that I may contact to discuss this extremely poor customer serviceZip code area
I received a bill last September and paid the amount that according to the bill would extend my account through 9/16/ However, I learned today that my account is paid only through 9/1/(newspapers short) because the Statesman charges extra for premium content that is delivered with the paper that I did not order and have no way to stop This is a misleading business practice affecting all subscribers, not just me The bill should either include all premium content for the given price, or give the subscriber the option to receive it or not

I have been a subscriber for many years of this worthless paper Why? I have no idea Nonetheless, I subscribe to a Wednesday/Sunday newspaper delivery service Over the last months or more, I may have actually received a month's worth of physical newspapers delivered to my home on the right day Over the past several weeks, I do not get my Wednesday or Sunday paper I contact the Statesman and their response is the same "We are sorry for the inconvenience We will get a paper re-delivered." That re-delivery never happensI then have to call another time and they give me a credit Right now my subscription goes to January and I pay on a monthly basis And its only November! I have reached out via email, telephone and now the Revdex.com It's not a hard thing to do to deliver my paper I will also be filing a fraudulent claim
I signed up for a promotional rate for a two month subscription of the Statesman on July 23, In my book, two months means through September 23, I did not want to continue the subscription so I sent and email on September 19th to cancel They replied they would cancel my subscription on October 24th and issue a refund in 7-daysI then replied that I want my subscription cancelled on the day I asked for it, September 19th, not over a month later on October 23rdI told them I requested the cancellation in plenty of time to be accomplished prior to automatic renewal and they told me the promotional period was through October 8, In that case I definitely tried to cancel in plenty of time to avoid automatic renewalHowever, they charged my credit card on September 18, 2017, a full three weeks in advanceAfter many phone calls, emails with customer service and another email vie their website, I still haven't received a refundIn speaking with friends, I hear it's
