Difficulty establishing online bill payThe website will not allow verification of my pay-from account, possibly because I am setting it up from an overseas locationI therefore submitted the form and voided check as requested by mailThe bill is now due, and still I cannot set up bill pay The website referred me to a customer service phone numberThe automated phone system demands an account number to let you continue, but the system cannot understand the number, whether entered through a keyboard or spoken clearly many timesIt consistently reads back an incorrect number The website's interactive features are not workingMay be a time zone problem? Either way, the obstacles to communication have cost me many hours of my time: And I am only trying to pay my bill! The website has no email or written form to contact them I plan to cancel the account because I don't have time to deal with a company like this

The service for small business has been deteriorating for the last year Wait times are getting longer and the branch makes no effort to even excuse itThere is no internal way to complain or comment through Bank of AmericaOne can only go on external sites such as this one

The worst bank ever I've been saying it for years but decided to give them a try to change my view of them!! I will never in life recommend them to anyone and will be telling ppl I know to close their account before they get screwed like I did

Bank of America is only worried about there fees and not their customersThey lie to their customers and charge fees for no reasonThey also don't keep up to date notes on your account I had a cashiers check give to me that was unfortunately a fake and bank of America closed my account until I paid the check back which was fineThey kept my savings open and promised I could open a new checking once it was paidSo I recently paid everything off and opened a new account only to find out a couple days late Bank of American closed my savings, the new account and is holding all my funds and its been a week

I was a Bank of America customer for years with Checking and Savings Accounts and a Visa Credit CardI had a job change last year and, due to decreased income, I missed payments on my card - making up all past due payments and paying all late charges at the end of the 3rd monthIn response, Bank of America canceled my credit card which was devastating to my FICO because of the length of time I've had this cardThey won't reinstate the credit account because they say, 'it's been closed too long'BofA never informed me of the cancellation (I had to find out via a declined transaction) so I didn't have an opportunity to request a reinstatement within their timeframe Prior to this time, I never missed a single payment and was never late.This is no way to treat a year customerAny other credit card grantor or bank will treat you better

I had a ach hold on [redacted] account on monday 03/14/for $I logged in online saw positive balance and saw account was in good standing so didnt need to deposit any money I woke up Tuesday 03/15/and now I have an overdraft feeI called customer service and all they can say is well its your fault you should keep better track of your expensesFirst of all why would you put a hold on [redacted] account for money that was there then charge [redacted] a fee the next morning claiming money wasnt there Makes no sense since you guys had a hold on [redacted] moneyHow can the money not be there when you guys are holding it? I will be closing both [redacted] checking and savings account and recommending [redacted] parents do the same I might not have allot of money there but [redacted] parents have had a 30+ year relationship with themShame on you bank of america

I have a very bad experience with Bank of America's loan department in the Inland Empire in California I applied a loan last November and until today, February 2, 2017, it is not over yet Not because I failed to submit a requirement but because the loan officers - both the loan officer from the Rancho Cucamonga branch and the Fulfillment Department in their Brea branch For example, the title company already made alll necessary prepararations, but the loan officers have not completed one of the requirements that they needed from ** For a month and a half I provided what they needed to verify [redacted] rental history, but until now they are not over checking it yet Everything is ready except for this one, and I have to pay for their lack of coordination

I have been banking with Bank of America for a number of years and am a "Preferred Client." However, after getting pre-approved for a loan I did not feel as though the customer service that I received from the loan officer (Brian G Miller) was the service to provide to any customer I had found a home and reached out to Brian to have a home specific pre-approval letter, understand the closing timeline, and determine the potential closing costs Once provided, I called him and mentioned that my realtor thought that the closing timeline and costs should be less I was seeking to understand the reason for the thought on this from Brian In this conversation, Brian was very condescending and offensive about my realtor and myself He stated that he is the loan officer and my realtor is a realtor for a reason He also stated that realtors only have question on their exam in reference to loans He never did offer an explanation for the closing time-frame and costs, but merely acted in a very defensive manner Additionally when I mentioned that I would be shopping around for a loan to him via email, he mentioned that I would not find a rate lower than theirs I did report this to Bank of America (and filed a complaint) and the initial customer service representative understood where I was coming from However, I was transferred to the loan department and they put me in contact with Brian's superior His superior could have cared less about the issues that I communicated In fact, he had Brian reach back out to me I have not received any communication from Bank of America regarding this complaint I feel that this situation was swept under the carpet and made me feel uneasy about Bank of America I requested the ability to go to a different loan officer that would treat me as a customer should be treated, however, was told that I would have to start the process all over and my credit would need to be re-run (even though the other loan officer was with Bank of America) If I need to do the whole process and have my credit re-run, I may as well go with a different bank Although I may not be able to find a rate lower than Bank of America's, I have successfully found a bank than can offer superior customer service, unlike Bank of America's home loan department Additionally, I will be considering taking my other funds elsewhere if Bank of America cannot offer consistent customer service in all aspects of their businesses

Never recommend Bank of America for an auto loanIf you ever think you want to request a payment deferral, choose Wells Fargo or otherAll you need to do to discover the shady business practices of Bank of America is ask how their deferment or payment extension option is handle, they will explain that the option just randomly appears on accounts, with being able to explain when or how the option becomes available, and you cannot request what does not appearIt was really fun asking them to explain and listening to several of the call center employees repeat scripted responses that led nowhere with explaining how the option may become available for customer useFirst payments processed on time as expected and a credit score means nothing to bofa

My BOA Visa card was declined at my local supermarketThe store was my usual, and the $was also not unusualI was very embarrassed, and I had no idea why BOA did thisWhen I got home, there were two emails from BOA (for the two failed attempts at the store)I was told to go online and checjk trk the last twn or so transactions to see if they were legitimateThis, it was explained to me, was "for my protection." I found no problems, then indicated such, causing my card to be unblocked Besides trhe embarrassment, here was my problem: when my wife and I go on vacation tomorrow, we do not want to carry a lot of cashTherefore, it was imperative I know WHY BOA blocked the card, sio I can have confidence it doesn't happen again, while we are far from home I called, emailed and went on their so-called chat line and no one could answer meSo, until I get a different card, I cannot be expected to use BOA'sIt has gone from very embarrassing to very inconvenient

I would imagine they have a great IT department who could come up with a way to inform a customer that their balance is in the process of being overdrawn and that they need to check their account immediately, but no, they let you know AFTER the fact so that they can charge their $overdraft fee for a $itemAlso, they impose fees on existing accounts without notification and then when you question them, they act like it's been there all alongI've been wanting to leave BOA for a long time but like an it, I stayed out of comfortability I can say that they did a great job when [redacted] debit card number was stolen but of course, it benefits them for insurance purposesThis is not a people's bank

I ordered an item for $online and accidentally used an old savings account that was linked through pay palAfter I had received the item in the mail I later received an email from BOA saying I had over drafted [redacted] account and was assessed a fee for $After speaking on the phone with a representative, I was told the money could not be used from [redacted] checking account to cover the purchase and I was forced to pay the feeI went to [redacted] local branch located in Graham, NC to pay the fee and empty the rest of [redacted] checking account as I had been using [redacted] local credit union for years as a result of bad experiences similar to this oneI was assured that this was the last step that I needed to take and I left the branch A week later I received an identical email indicating that I was being charged another $over draft feeI went back to the Graham, NC branch to speak with a bankerShe told [redacted] that the original $was bounced back to PayPal, and BOA was then again asked for the money days laterSo the overdraft fee I payed only covered the fact that BOA was asked for the $5.24, eventually this money was returned without [redacted] knowledge Of course there was no money in the account as I was told I did not have to take any further actionAfter being explained as to how this terrible system works I was also informed that this second fee of $could not be refundedAt this point I did not care about the previous fee and I just wanted this nightmare to be overThe branch manager was very rude, attempting to defend her bank teller and informed [redacted] that the computer system was the reason I could not be refunded and that the bank manager could not over ride it, which is difficult to believe As a result I closed all of [redacted] accounts, which I knowingly should have done in the first place, and left BOA for good [redacted] dog is now the proud owner of a $lacrosse ball

HORRIBLE!!!!! I had a claim dispute that is clear as day and Bank Of America didn't do anything to protect [redacted] money I was overcharged, no estimate provided, receipt didn't even add up Clearly fraud and ripped off by a lock companyThe retailer used a deposit for ordering the part before the job was complete with [redacted] signature as [redacted] invoice confirmation that job was complete Bank of America is clueless to understand any of this Didn't keep [redacted] updated on the claim status Told [redacted] that service was render so they couldn't do anything BANK OF AMERICA you obviously didn't read the shotty reciept!!!! No address, math didn't add up, different date than the service I absolutely don't have any confidence in this bank protecting [redacted] funds

Bank of America has quite a scam going on, they charge you for over drafts that don't exist They Claim that transactions go thru a day earlier than they show up on your statementsthey either need to change the way the statements read or change their policy on how they show your records online I am totally fed up with their poor customer service, they basically tell you to take it or leave it

Bank of America is always friendly and helpful when it comes to any of my accounts would recommend them to anyone

We went to open an account todayWe had told them that the account needs to be put in my name well they decided to proceed with the account in my wife's nameShe does not even do the banking which is the problemThen they gave a temp debit card that was bad and told me it needed to be activated which we tried for three hours with different reps on the phoneIm not very happyThey said they can fix it in the branch tomorrow bit this should have not happened to begin with The debit card I can forgive on the first mistake with the local ( [redacted] ) branch but not going the second timeNow im going to have to waste time tomorrow to fix thisutter bs

Bank Of America decided to replace all the real tellers with ATM machines in the Atascocita, TX drive-thru, there are no longer a physical body manning the entire drive-thruI decided to go to the ATM drive-thru because I was in a hurry only to find that it malfunctioned after I inserted [redacted] debit card and [redacted] depositit said processing...processing..and more processingIt wouldn't let [redacted] cancel the transaction and I didn't have a receiptI didn't know what to do nextI didn't have a phone on ** I was amazed that there was no help button on the machine .I decided to leave [redacted] car in the drive-thru hoping that if it decided to start working again after the times I attempted to cancel the entire transaction, [redacted] money wouldn't be given to the next dricustomerI walked in only to find that they were very busy and that they only have four real people working thereI was told to sign in and take a seatI tried to explain the urgency of [redacted] situation and was told that there were customers ahead of **I explained [redacted] car was still in the drive-thru, I was told to go move [redacted] carI told them I only wanted them to cancel [redacted] transaction, I told them that I would make [redacted] deposit insideAgain, I was told to go sit downI asked to speak to a supervisor and was told with a flip of an arm "she is over there"After I finally got the supervisor's attention, she told to have a seatSo I waited to talk to a supervisor that stood there the whole time staring at **After some time went by she finally walked over to **, she was not customer friendly!! She was able to go online an deactivate the machine, this took every bit of two secondsThis is the second time I have had problems with these new machinesI noticed that the manager nor bank employees have a clue what's going on outside in the Automatic Teller Machine linesI was also told that the branch doesn't service the ATMs!! Is this not their responsibility? I was told if I have future problems to call the number on the machineI left upset at [redacted] bank!!

I am a new Treasurer for our local organization and very disappointed with the quality of service provided for the business customers line at BA located between San Pablo Avenue and Mcdonald in Richmond CA Firat there never was anyone available on the business window I will be lucky to be assisted by someone on the serving the regular cistomers There always a long line in this branch and one time there was only one teller I stood on the business section forever and another lady counting money dont seem to care Yesterday I was told that the business line closes at 4pm and cannot make a simple deposit before 5pm I wish my union would change bank service

I highly recommend NOT banking with this bank! They have a unique way of assessing overdraft feesI have [redacted] checking account set up to transfer money to [redacted] savings account every month on the 15thIf your checking account is low in funds, they still do the transfer and charge you an overdraft protection feeThey did a transfer before the 15th claiming that it was because of a holiday & it was the weekendBasically, they are just taking your money!!!
