We did speak to the customer , his policy max on the repair was $150 however we approved a $508 repair.

We did speak with the customer and assisted with the claim issue.

The customer will be receiving a pro rated refund as they are no longer eligible for a full refunds. Full refunds are issued if the customer cancels their contract within the first 30 days. Since the customer requested to cancel 5 months later they will only be able to receive a pro rated refund.

This customer already filed a dispute with their credit card company. No additional funds due at this time.

I am rejecting this response because:
It was not made known that there was a 35 day policy. The email I received said 30 days, and I was in that window. Their statements aren't correct. I called on the 26th, not the 24th. I never said anything about my issues beginning on the 24th, the said that. I also paid with a debit card, not a credit card. If their emails say 30 days, that should be the time frame. None of my emails say anything about a 35 day wait period.

The customer has been refunded on 12/03/2015 in the amount of 1166.00 directly back to their credit card, the customer had also placed a dispute case with their credit card company and we are still in the middle of that matter.

I am rejecting this response because:As I have been stating to Select Home Warranty by phone and email OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN, that the home inspection was NOT DONE BY ME, but by a third party buyer of my property and I did NOT receive that inspection until the July 21! As soon I got the inspection, I immediately contacted Select within the same weekend, not even waiting 1 business day, but if they are trying to scam their way out of their own terms of their contract to make money, there is not much else I can do other than take legal action against them.  It is clear both from the buyer's real estate agent, their 3rd party inspector and my own real estate agent's emails (which I already shared with you) that I did not receive their inspection results until July 21. My realtor was even shocked in Select's dishonest business dealings - she said in her years of doing this line of work, she had not come across this.In addition to taking legal action, I also ask Revdex.com to warn other consumers against the dishonest business dealings of this company.  I've only asked them to repair what I paid for and was part of our contract, nothing more and nothing less, but it is obvious, they don't want to cover any part of their contract terms.  Guess this is how they make money - collect from the consumer then make a false statement to allow them to not do their part!

We have reached out to the customer and approved $150 towards her claim. We have sent the customer the reimbursement form.

The customer was informed by someone in our office on 6/23/17 that the evaporator coil was rusted which is what caused the unit to fail. Please refer to section 9.1.2 of the customers contract: 9.1.2. This Agreement does not cover any systems or appliances that have had previous repair or that...

require repair as a result of improper installation, previous repair, damage caused by any construction activity, improper wiring, inadequate or lack of capacity, power failures, power surges, overloads, missing parts, failure to properly maintain, failure to properly clean, neglect, misuse, corrosion, rust, sediment and any modification to the system or appliance. You are responsible for providing annual maintenance and cleaning by a licensed technician on covered items to ensure continued coverage on such items. Select reserves the right to request prior years (3) maintenance records and/or pictures, without proper maintenance records and pictures the maximum payout on any system/appliance is upto $150.00. For example: heating and a/c systems require periodic cleaning and/or replacement of filters and cleaning of evaporator and condenser coils. Water heaters require periodic flushing. This policy covers mechanical breakdowns, it does not cover shelves, door handles, doors, hinges, knobs and buttons, door seals, displays, latches, timers, leveling equipment, clogged drains or lines, cosmetic issues, gaskets, leak searches, lights, noise, refrigerants, valves, dispensers,installation, electrical failures. Rust is not covered under the customers warranty and their claim was subsequently denied. No funds are due at this time.

I am rejecting this response because:They never contacted us.  They would not give us the name of a repair person.  This is absolutely a lie.  We spent 5 days with no refrigerator in our house and were unable to get any help from this company.  They would not return our calls, nor would they give us any assistance with getting the refrigerator fixed.  No calls were returned.  No emails with names of service people were sent as promised.  Lies, lies lies!!!

The customer has already been refunded for their November installment on 11/15/17. Please see enclosed copy of their refund.

We spoke with the customer again. We have already approved the customer for the policy maximum for these claims which is $150. The customer is asking us to pay $1000 towards the claim. This is way over the policy maximun and is not possible. We are willing to increase the reimbursement to $200 which is $50 over the policy limit.

We did speak with the customer and are helping with a technician

The customer was advised the check was mailed on 12/22/2015, the customer continued to state they did not receive it, the customer was contacted by Select Home Warranty on 01/14/2016 to follow up but they are still  non-responsive.

I am rejecting this response because: at the time of purchasing policy they told me, if they are not able to fix they will replace it and even you can check there website in section FAQ why they dont mention clearly this thing if equipment is old they can provide depreciation cost only .([redacted] ). If they mention this thing no one can buy policy from them. That the reason there rating is going down day by day.
Even they send the contract he told us dealing with this company is night mare and we deal with so many company mostly they replace if they are not able to fix. Technically they are paying me 55 $ because I already paid 45 $ service fees.

I am rejecting this response because:
This warrenty company needs to be shut down before anymore customers waste more time and money on them. The service is terrible and they do not fix any issues. My issue still remains unresolved with no efforts from the company to try and resolve it. Luckily my policy runs out in a few days and I no longer have to deal with these crooks. I am still requesting my $60 initial service fee due to my issue never being resolved. Or I would like the company to send out another technician to fix my issue, or refund the initial $60 service call fee. This company also has the nerve to continue calling me multiple times everyday and requesting that I renew my policy. I would still like to have explained to me how I filed a claim, and then magically it disappeared and never even existed ? Seems like a disgruntled employee gave me a run around. Once again I am requesting my $60 fee to be refunded from this warrenty company( I do not care if it initially went to the technician). My issue still remains.
