Samsung has reviewed [redacted] complaint in regards to his television Our system shows the agent assigned to the claim spoke with [redacted] on 1/10/to discuss the case The agent explained to [redacted] that updates to the evolution kit is no longer necessary for units after and advised him to ensure that the product is up to date with firmware [redacted] also mentioned to the agent that he is experiencing spots on the unit as well The agent informed [redacted] that his unit was OOW (out of warranty) and the repair would be at his expense, to which he agreed with OOW service The agent submitted a service request; reference [redacted] for OOW repair on the unit The ASC will be in contact with [redacted] to schedule the In-home repair Thank you for being a valued Samsung customer, we apologize for any inconveniences you may have experienced with this case

Samsung has reviewed Mr [redacted] ’ claim in regards to his phone Our system shows the agent handling his claim spoke with Mr [redacted] to advise him that the unit was OOW (Out of Warrantee) due to liquid damage The repair would be set up as an OOW repair and he would be responsible for the cost Mr [redacted] understood and provided the agent with his credit card information to proceed with OOW service The agent advised Mr [redacted] to make sure to use ample amount of packaging materials to protect the unit while in transit He also advised him to ONLY send the unit with nothing else The agent informed Mr [redacted] that he will see a credit card hold on his account and once ASC diagnoses the unit, he will be contacted with the total amount for the repair Mr [redacted] wanted to know if the hold would be returned The agent advised him it will if he decided not to go through with the repair We apologize for any inconveniences and delays the customer may have experienced with this case Thank you

I am rejecting this response because:You can close the complain, but you should know that Samsung did not "push through" anything They gave Best Buy the wrong RA number, and were no help getting this issue resolved It was Best Buy who pushed through the refund/exchange And Best Buy told me that Samsung often gives out wrong RA numbers.I did not purchase another Samsung TV, I went with a different brand Samsung has done nothing to say sorry, or apoligize for the TV not working properly for months.Thank you for your time ***
