Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:the Samsung television I purchased was supposedly a NEW Unit and their should have been nothing wrong with this deviceI did receive an email [redacted] on Oct.26, The email stated "While Samsung is sadden to hear the units were not what you expected, the LIMITED WARRANTY associated with them does not include any type of buyback for buyer remorse." I don't have buyers remorseI stated that I didn't want a Refund at first, I wanted my television ReplacedThis TV is not months old as yetMs[redacted] stated LIMITED WARRANTY-what does that mean? That wasn't stated anywhere when I purchased this unitIf in fact the unit has another black-out concerning the LCD Panel, how many times should I accept that Samsung will come to repair it? Firstly, there is misinformation in this postThe tv was purchased around September The month warranty would not have expired until late 2010.Secondly, like I mentioned in my initial complaint, this is unacceptableThe issue is due to a clear defect in Samsung tvs of that time period and there was a class action lawsuit involving this, which resulted in them offering $towards repairtsA tv breaking in under years due to a manufacturing defect should not be my responsibilityA company would want to keep a customer if they make a mistakeSamsung's reaction to this is irresponsible and unacceptableMy initial complaint stands and I once again request Samsung make reparations for thisUltimately, by taking the reckless actions they are taking, they are severing a customer relationship someone who has been a very loyal customer for a long timeThey are proving they cannot be trusted to take corporate responsibility for choosing cheaper parts and manufacturing defects, despite offering an hdtv that priced as one of the premium tvs on the market at over $This is unacceptable and their response is also unacceptable

We appreciate your correspondence and allowing Samsung the opportunity to review your claimIn order for Samsung to provide assistance we would require the handset be shipped to the Samsung Repair Center for evaluation If liquid damage is found during evaluation this may indicate the phone was not properly sealed when in contact with liquid, or the liquid contact was too severe Unfortunately, any damage incurred through contact with water or other liquids can, and in most cases will, cause corrosion to the inner workings of the handset Even when some functionality is retained, it generally happens that the corrosion continues to spread, causing more damage over timeIn these circumstances, due to Samsung's policy concerning repair, it is no longer feasible to attempt to repair the phone because the cost associated may in most cases cost more than the actual value of the unit; consequently, the phones received in this condition into our North Texas repair facilities are shipped back to the customer unrepaired Samsung cannot assist in the refund of your product, however, if you would like to send in your handset for evaluation please contact Samsung Customer Support at 1-888-987-and a live agent will be available to assist youThank you

Samsung has reviewed Ms [redacted] claim in regards to her refrigerator Our system shows the agent who handled the claim, contacted Ms*** on 6/13/to discuss the claim Ms*** told the agent that a day after she filed the Revdex.com complaint, she received an email from ENR (Exchange and Refunds) that her refund was being processedMs*** expressed her dissatisfaction with the timeframe for the refund to be processed The agent explained the refund process to Ms***, including that the cord for the unit had to be cut as part of the refund requirements Once the refund has been processed to be issued, Ms*** will receive a Refund Check Issued e-mail informing her that the check has been issued Please allow 7-business days after the check has been mailed to receive it We apologize for any inconveniences and delays the customer may have experienced with this case Thank you

I recieved a smart tv for a present the Xmas before last and hooked up the tv in January 2014, after a couple months of very little usage the screen went blankAfter weeks of calling to resolve the situation I mailed it to Samsung and they supposedly fixed it, I recieved the item back in approx beginning of OctoberNow just a few short months later the TV has the same identical issue and is out of warrantyIf it was fixed correctly the first time I don't believe it would have done the same exact thingUpon looking online I have found for this to be a common issue with their productsAlso on a side note this was purchased as a smart tv that I should've been able to down load any apps I choseAfter using it a notice came on the set that as of a certain date only Samsung apps would work on itThat seems like a bit of a bait and switch to me! It is as if I was sold a convertible and then told after the fact that I wouldn't be allowed to put the top downI would appreciate a prompt repair or replacement, expecially since it is a reoccurring issueThe TV itself is not used regularly and there is no reason for it to have stopped working other then faulty building in the first place, as I said it has the EXACT same issues as beforeIs seems as if only a temporary fix was done in order to get it through until the warranty expired

Samsung has reviewed Ms [redacted] claim in regards to reimbursement for new hoses and taxes The agent handling her claim explained that Samsung’s policy does not provide additional compensation for taxes and repurchasing of new hoses as it is not included in the rebate There are only two options for the Recall; FOC (Free of Charge) repair with a one-year extension or the rebate with installation and/or removal fees reimbursed No further accommodations will be made for this claim We apologize for any inconveniences and delays the customer may have experienced with this caseThank you
