Samsung has reviewed Mr*** claim in regards to reimbursement for shipping costs. Our system shows the agent who handled the claim called and left a voice message on Mr*** phone informing him that due to his device being international, Samsung would not be able to pull up any
information in our systems to verify that he was informed that service would be covered here in the states. The agent also advised Mr** that the device does not have a US warranty and based on this information, Samsung would not be able to grant his request for shipping the unit to the country of origin for service or his request for shipping reimbursement Thank you for being a valued Samsung customer, we apologize for any inconveniences you may have experienced with this case

I am rejecting this response because:
This rebate had nothing to do with what retailer you bought your appliances fromThis rebate form I was told by many retailers while I was shopping to go on Samsung's main website and download the form to get back the rebateAlso, I did not receive any response in the mail telling me that the offer was rejected because of the retailerI am enclosing a picture of the form and it does not have any exclusion on retailers! It states you need to only buy all four apiances which I did!

I am rejecting this response because: They are not being honestThe very first time I called the female representative acknowledged she could see the notes from my previous call and admitted I was wrongly informed of the incorrect camera for my TVSamsung is not sharing all information and is being untruthful

As per Samsung e-commerce division the order referenced was from the refurbished store. The system is showing that both orders were cancelled and Mr*** was not charged. Unfortunately we do not have the inventory in the refurbished store to fulfill orders for this product.

I am rejecting this response because:
First and foremost, I appreciate the Revdex.com's assistance in this matter. With regards to Samsung's response, the options presented included: (1) A minor payment for my washing unit based on the manufacturing date of the machine that would offset the cost of a new unit and (2) A repair that would still result in a unit with reduced functionality - despite their assurances to the contrary. The unit was originally promoted as a heavy duty machine with the capability to clean bedding and heavy items. The temporary solution provided by the company recommended that: (1) A new template be applied to the controls of the unit which prevents the user from using the heavy duty cycle and (2) A directive to not wash any bedding or water proof products in the unit until an actual repair is performed. Even after the repair is performed, Samsung has directed that heavy items such as bedding and mattress covers still be cleaned on a more delicate cycle. Anything water resistant is totally excluded from the list of items that can be cleaned by the unit. This is the reason that I have rejected Samsung's response. I would be more than happy to accommodate the suggested repair if Samsung decides to stand behind it's original promotion and guarantee regarding the unit's capabilities. Otherwise, I would consider this a clear case of and misleading advertising and a failure to honor documented commitments to its customers. Thank you again for your assistance. *** ***

Samsung tries to accommodate our consumers with a resolution to the best of our ability on a case by case review. In Mr*** case, he was advised at that time he was offered the refund that there would be no coverage from Samsung. Mr*** has a *** *** extended warranty in which he may contact to receive service through them In regards to being reimbursed for the extended warranty, Samsung will not be able to compensate for an extended warranty he purchased through the retailer. I am rejecting this response because:First, it's not a phoneIt's a small Galaxy Tab A with no phone feature.Second, my record shows no Samsung agent had contacted me on August 21, 2017, as asserted on the responseIn fact, I found out about the first time the package had been shipped only after calling 1-800-Samsung on June 30, after a delay, on June 22, Thereby, I called UPS Office/***, which is one of the UPS authorized shipping agent provided by Samsung to drop off the Tablet for delivery to Samsung Repair Facility on June 15, 2017, and was told by Alex that it was ready for pickup since June 23, However, at the Office, Alex couldn't find the package and was only able to trace its last location from the Tracking Detail to be at the UPS Depot as of June 26, all along, since it was arrival-scanned on June 23, 2017, with a notation under ACTIVITY, "The receiver requested this package to be held for pickup at UPS facility", which never happened.The only notification of pending delivery I received from UPS was the Quantum View email sent on July 14, 2017, which was strangely enough, resent on August 31, 2017, wherein the stated date of scheduled delivery is on Thursday, 9/07/2017.Third, UPS Coordinators at CVE Inc., before sending out the first shipment, should have known about the issue of non-delivery by UPS' delivery man to my home address, which was noted down by the Samsung Support Center representative, who issued the repair ticket number on June 14, Also, UPS Coordinators should have knowledge of UPS policy regarding non-delivery to franchised UPS Offices for pickup, without payment of an extra fee, before making the second shipment to UPS Office/***, which is a franchise. Fourth, apparently Samsung has not fully reviewed the records of my calls to UPS' customer call centers before asserting that there were attempts made by UPS' delivery agent to my home address, besides the recorded calls I had with multiple representatives at Samsung Support Center and my email correspondence with the UPS Coordinators at CVE Inc. UPS records of calls, if they were really kept in its system, especially the notation made by UPS agent Lorenzo, during my call immediately upon receipt of the first UPS Quantum View email on July 14, 2017, just before the package was delivered, would have revealed later that day, that there was neither an attempt to deliver nor a pickup-request ever made. UPS records would also have shown that on one of my calls, a supervisor at a UPS call center had informed me that the shipper should have been aware that UPS delivers only to all UPS franchises for pickup after payment of an extra fee.Just so you know, it was revealed to me after multiple inquiries, that a few of the UPS call center agents don't actually make notations regarding the concern of the callers in the system, even if they claimed they did to callers, besides giving them fake names.I believe that failure by UPS to effectively deliver the package does not absolve Samsung's obligation to return the device I rightly owned by all means possible
