Review: On Friday March 14 I made a teller withdrawal from PNC Place at [redacted]. I requested a withdrawal of $40 in $1 bills. The teller drew out the money and counted it once to herself and once on a machine on the back counter. She then placed it in an envelope and handed it back to me. When I arrived home that night I noticed that I only had $20 in $1 bills... but my account showed that I had withdrawn $40 from the teller. I immediately contacted an online chat representative that same night. She told me the transaction would be resolved immediately after it cleared from my account. This did not happen. On Tuesday March 18 I went back to PNC Place to talk to a representative, and he told me I would receive a call or notice in three days. That was an unacceptable answer because should have been resolved immediately, but I still took it and left. I contacted PNC once again April 1 because I had not heard anything, and my complaint was finally filed. After going back and forth with the complaints department, I was told basically that there was no discrepancy on their side. This angered me greatly because of the time it took to get an answer, and the fact that I was told I was basically lying.Desired Settlement: I just want my $20 back. Nothing extra.

Review: I called yesterday to PNC bank and told them the situation of what was going on I spoke with [redacted], I told her I was charged a 36 dollar fee for overdrawn, and I told her before the fee went through I had previously set up overdrawn protection a while back with a girl name [redacted] at one of the branches in south florida at PNC also I informed her that I wanted a refund she said " no since you have had so many overdraft fees" I told her that is ridiculous I do not work my [redacted] off to pay fees to PNC bank to make them richer and me poorer, that is unprofessional and since I have been a customer with PNC since I was 12 years old that is a total of 14 years with PNC, also I have had a deposit of money going in to my account and it would stopped it from being charged a fee it was the day before and online it says that same day that I was charged a overdraft fee. I am very upset that this happen I do not agree with this at all. [redacted] was not nice with me and giving me excuses the whole time while I was talking with her on the phone with PNC bank number customer service.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of $36.00 back in to my Checking account

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: I may have chosen the wrong complaint issue, but have no other idea where this falls.

My complaint with PNC is regarding the process of my payroll checks. They take more than necessary time to process, they only make 100.00 available the first day.

My payroll, and my husbands, have NEVER bounced. There practice is causing over draft fee. [redacted] makes payroll checks available immediately. PNC told me they have the right to hold my payroll checks this long.

I think it's their error, and it should be a crime.Desired Settlement: 36.00 for my over draft fee. We are ending our years of service with PNC this weekend. I just want my over draft fee covered, please. I think it's wrong, unethical, to hold my funds this long.

Thank you for considering, [redacted]

Review: On 7/29/14 PNC Bank closed a account that I had with them. I have $1,500 in there back that they refuse to return to me. I have been told because they have to wait until all pending transactions have cleared. I have print outs and recordings of the bankers at the branch telling me that the pending accounts had cleared and that she was lied to by the back office on when my money would be issued to me. They have stopped giving me answers or returning my calls. I printouts and recording that this bank has my money and is refusing to give me my funds or a time table when I will receive my fundsDesired Settlement: I would like to have MY MONEY $1,585. Returned to me in cash ASAP. I want a written explanation as to why my funds were held and a complete account as to ALL transactions that went through this account.

Review: PNC Bank states that I have a negative balance, and they reported it to ChexSystems, preventing me from opening any other bank accounts. I closed the account with them, but they did not close it and let charges and fees accumulate, and then tried to get me to pay these bank fees.Desired Settlement: Remove the account/balance from PNC's system, and remove the account/balance from ChexSystems.

Review: I have had a pnc checking account for a while now. Every once in a while when I write a check that is electronically processed PNC doesn't process it until weeks later. This has resulted in many overdraft fees for me. a few months ago I wrote a check for about $200 to walmart and PNC didn't process it until over 3 weeks later! The part that doesn't make any sense is I wrote checks before and after the $200 check and they all went through in 2 days. When I saw the $200 check post I thought someone had stolen my checkbook. Its is impossible to balance my checkbook when they don't process things in order as they should. its not reasonable to take over 3 weeks to process one check, and other times taking two days to process a check that are written to the same place. I did talk to walmart about this and they said the problem isn't on their end. all checks are processed the day they are written.Desired Settlement: The above practice of PNC has resulted in hundred of dollars in overdraft fees for me in the past, and many more hundreds lately. My account has become so negative I had to abandon the account, which has resulted in more fees. I would like PNC to refund the overdraft fee that resulted from that initial $200 check and all other fees that have accrued since then. I would also like my account closed. I will be happy to pay the remaining balance on the account

Review: Good Afternoon, We have an unsatisfied lien on a property from 1979 that PNC is now responsible for due to several bank mergers.[redacted] of [redacted], to [redacted] to Pnc Bank. We provided documentation three week ago in the hope of getting a letter form PNC Bank acknowledging their responsibility and there understanding that they would process the requirements to get the lien satisfied. We are now as stated above three weeks since the proper documentation was provided and there is still no answer or the case being assigned to anyone that will help get this resolved. Most lending instituition would have someone assigned to this within a few days however not the case here with PNC BANK.Desired Settlement: A letter from PNC BANK that they are responsible for the shortcoming of the prior Bank for not satisfying this lien and to process immediately to have the lien satisfied.

Review: my complainet is overdraft fees these fees are ridulous 36.00 for each trasaction for 1 I believe if someone has direct deposit it should not be charge cause the things are still getting paid cause your money is going into there bank and also there systems tell you the money is there for you to spend cause it says it is then when you call them they wont help you out with it at all oh im sorry we cant help you at this time which I really dont understand cause its not like there getting the money if my check is direct deposited im hardly able to pay my bills and rent for housing because of these fees so it would be nice if they stop charging these fees to people that work there butts off to make a livingDesired Settlement: I would like a refund on all my overdraft fees

Review: This is in regards to errors made on my PNC Equity Mortgage. Upon review of my Customer History dated July 22, 2014 I have discovered that NO PRINIPAL PAYMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE ON MY ACCOUNT IN 5 YEARS (since the transfer from National City to PNC) from my regular monthly payments! Furthermore, my attempts in January, June and possibly July of this year to make principal payments have been met with erroneous finance charges and late fees. Most recently, on my June payment I was charged $477 that should not have been charged. According to [redacted], whom my wife spoke with on July 31, 2014, my account owed $477 in interest from March, April and May. This is not possible, as I have made regular monthly payments since January of 2011.Desired Settlement: I am requesting that someone go through the account from the beginning of the loan to make sure that each payment has been applied correctly. Furthermore, I would also like a detailed description as to where every dollar went from the beginning of the loan. I would like to speak with someone who is actually involved in the fix, not a go between. I would like to be refunded for all money I was overcharged in fees, finance charges and interest.

Review: I have had issues with this bank and their policy as to when a deposit is credited AND overdraft charges to an account. My account is a business account and in small businesses it is paramount for quick action to be taken by banks to not further the amount of liabilities for the small business and banking institution; futhermore, PNC charged my account for overdraft fees on mutliple transactions in one day ($36 per transaction; one day it was near ten transactions). The main charges in question, because it seems to have been done for more than a year in 2015, is $400 dolar deposit by my business on a Friday night at 10 PM local time. It was a cash deposit. It was my thinking and only ogical that a cash deposit would be credited to my account on the following business day (Saturday), which I think had been policy prior to 2015. Continuing, unknown to my business on Saturday my account was still overdrawn. I made more purchases on my account (because business is a 24/7/365 action on my part) all weeekend. PNC charged me all weekend, per transaction, and Mondaymornig when I checked my account I was overdrawn still ($19). So in theory, PNC headquarters and local branches told me that they are not "really" open on Saturday and that their next "business day" is Monday morning following a Friday night closing at 9 pm. In theory, as seen by my business, PNC is able to do business and charge my account during the weekend and I cannot and could not stop charges to my account on an overdran account in any way possible. So, PNC can charge me for services while they are closed and I cannot stop the perverbial "bleeding" in any way or manner. THis seems to be unfair and possibly illegal to charge an account holder but not allow that account holder to make his/her account current. When contacted I asked personnel if there was an actual person, not a computer, that could think logically about this customer service issue (and possibly all the past charges); told PNC Id contact Revdex.com and they didnt care.Desired Settlement: Please let the banking industry and potential customers know of PNC's lack of customer service and their want to continue cutomer satisfaction. The actions of PNC Bank are inconsistent with the other banking institutions I currently use, have used in the past, and with this institution (as I have been a customer with this bank since adulthood 1997).

Review: I have already talked with [redacted] from the head quarters about issues. He took care of this and we are back to where we where a few months ago. They are taking money out of my account with out my permission and making me negative in my account. I am getting charged fees for being over drawn and other fees. I am currently out of town and can not get funds from my account due to this. [redacted] said this would not happen and it has. He lied and I am very unhappy about this.Desired Settlement: I want all of my money back they took in Febuary and March. It is over $400.00. I also need someone of higher management than [redacted] to make sure this will NEVER happen again.

Review: PNC Mortgage company initiated several mail foreclosure notice notifications after processing payments that were insufficient in amount without expediently contacting the borrower in advance to allow for a remedy (i.e. to correct a check writing error). Along with doing foreclosure notifications the company reported late payment reports on the borrower to credit bureaus."Prisoners Dilemma" seems to apply to PNC's Mortgage collections processing. A Dec 2013 check payment was incorrectly annotated by the borrower writer and subsequently processed by PNC Mortgage as being short of the required mortgage amount. PNC cashed the check, deducted the late payment amount, and held the remainder without notifying the writer in a timely manner of the check writing error. When the next mortgage payment was made another late charge was assessed now causing a two month mortgage payment default according to PNC thus initiating foreclosure notification files. With great effort initiated by the borrower PNC made allowances for the payment processing error and subsequent PNC processing procedures by waving the late payment fees in order for the borrower to get back into a good loan standing and not proceed into a foreclosure. When PNC was asked to retract the credit agency report for late payment the request was not honored even though there was poor practices attributed with both the lender and borrowers actions. The fault on the lender being slow in response to a borrower with notification of payment issues along with processing a regular payment as a late payment while not applying a previous payment (except for initiating late fees deduction) due to a check writing error. The "Prisoners Dilemma" is created by PNC Mortgage practice of payment processing to deduct a late fee from a regular payment which then has insufficient funds which in turn generates foreclosure proceedings all done without expedient notification to the borrower.Desired Settlement: Since refinancing over two years ago payments were sent on time. When changes in the amount of escrow were identified the borrower provided additional payment to correct deficient amounts. Being good customers we should be able to get PNC Mortgage to retract late payment reporting to credit bureaus primarily due to PNCs business practice with loan payments processing, late fee assessments prior to loan processing, and lack of PNC Mortgage to customer expedient notification of loan issues.

Review: PNC Mortgage will not respond to my inquiry about the $1000.00 incentive was due to me in December 2013. I have made numorous calls and they can not answer what happened. They said that they would respond in 2 weeks during our last conversation. It has been well over 2 weeks and still no response. I called and only get transfered to a voice mail. My calls are never returned. I was originally told that they were looking into it. Then I was told to call Select Portfolio who serviced my mortgage before PNC.I called Select Portfolio and thay could not believe that PNC told me to call them. The incentive is a borrower incentive that was an agreement of the Home Affordable Modification Program.I received the incentive in the past from Select Portfolio without any problems. I am eligable for the incentive based on the fact that my payments have been on time. My loan number is [redacted]. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Desired Settlement: I would like the money due credited to my account with interest.

Review: PNC Bank has failed to respond on several occasions when their CSRs tell you they are submitting a complaint to the "complaint department" and you will get a call back within 24-48 hours. I called PNC Bank on Thurs 11/7 after making a payroll check deposit at their "advertised ATM cash/check" service. They advertise as long as you make the deposit by 9pm it posts for that business day. The rep on Thursday night verified my check was posted and that a pending item from [redacted] was listed and she verified I would not be charged for this item. She also stated she would file a complaint for me and apologized that the previous rep on Tuesday gave me wrong information. 11/9 I called PNC Bank after discovering I was charged $36 OD fee for [redacted] when my deposit CLEARLY was there BEFORE [redacted] posted. The supervisor [redacted] who stated she is the only floor Supv in [redacted] stated that my payroll deposit did not post until midnight and that the [redacted] pmt posted at midnight???? She placed me on hold and listened to the call and agreed that the [redacted] pmt was not posted before my deposit but stated I still deserved the $36 fee. She also had representatives laughing in the background of the call as we'll. She refused to transfer me to any one else and stated there is no complaint department that would take my call however when you listen to the call from 11/7 the Rep clearly states she would transfer me to the complaint department but they were closed.PNC has HORRIBLE customer service!! You get a different explanation depending on who answers the phone! Their automated system tells you items have cleared your account and then the next day you get NSF fees and they say oh no they didn't clear they were pending. They advertise to use the ATM for deposits before 9pm then charge you fees and say you were only allowed $100 of that to be applied to pending items. I have NEVER had a CSR tell me this until the [redacted] Supervisor today! I have heard them say only $100 cash is available for withdrawal never based on a deposit.Desired Settlement: I see they have a b- rating with Revdex.com so I am assuming PNC does not really care about complaints. I am asking for my fees back!!!! The money shows on the PNC website my entire check deposit reflected PRIOR to any deductions.[redacted] call needs to be pulled from 11/9...she had Reps laughing in the background and clearly never apologized for my not receiving a call back regarding my complaints and gave out wrong policy and processing information as a Supervisor

Review: I purchase a truck from [redacted] a couple of months ago and have yet to receive a payment book from PNC Bank. They said they sent me a payment book, but I never received it. My husband and I BOTH have talked to them about this and I still don't have a payment book. When I asked for my account number and their website so I could make the payment, they would not give them to me. I went online and tried to sign up for payments, but without the account number, I could not make the payment. They don't send me emails or a NORMAL bill in the mail so I can make my payments as they are meant to be. The first time they contacted me was to say that I had not made my first payment. This was from their collection agency. Needless to say I was upset. I explained to them that I had not received my payment book and that I also had tried to call them, but since I had no account number, I could not gain access to a person to assist me. I also tried to go online to the bank site to make a payment, but since I didn't have my account number I could not make a payment. This month again, my husband [redacted] contacted the bank to ask why we have not yet received a payment book. Last month they said we would have it within four to six weeks. Still we have nothing. Now TODAY, I have receive a notice of late payment in the mail. Where is my payment book or an email with a normal bill. Why do they have time to send a late notice but not a payment coupon book or a normal bill either by email or mail? I just want help in obtaining a payment book so I can pay my payments on time. I have excellent credit and I certainly don't want it ruined by a bank. By the way, they haggled with the car dealership and USAA (my first choice) to gain my business and offered me the lower interest rate, but I see now that was a HUGE mistake. Please assist.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive my payment book or a normal bill in the mail or by email BEFORE my payment is considered late.
