Mrs *** my name is *** *** and I have taken over as GM at both Dixie Imports and Dixie Motors I would like to see what I can do to resolve this matterplease feel free to respond back so we can put this behind us and in the near future help you with your car purchaseThank you for your
time ?

Thank for you very much for your responseWe are looking into the matter and it will be handled accordinglyIf there are any further questions, please call *** and speak with the Manager Earl B*** *** We Appreciate your business.?

This complaint was resolved on April 6, to the satisfaction of the Buyer? Even though the Buyer purchased a vehicle “as is” and acknowledged so by his signature on an As Is Disclosure at the time of purchase, Dixie Imports was able to help the Buyer obtain and pay for a short term
warranty from *** Warranty Co to the satisfaction of the Buyer? The Buyer then, less than days later, purchased an additional vehicle on May 3, much to his satisfaction and also to that of Dixie Imports

Thanks for your inquiry.? Our records indicate that you and your husband attempted to purchased a vehicle, a Ford F-pick up truck, from us on February 17, 2018.? Unfortunately, your financing was declined by the lender when they could not verify some of the information that you had provided.? We satisfied your request to retain use of the vehicle while we attempted to search for an additional lender that would approve your application.? The next day a second tentative approval was located for the vehicle loan and again you assured us that it would be no problem in providing the needed documents relating to your husband as the joint applicant.? Daily we communicated with you for the needed documents and daily, you indicated you would provide them all the while continuing to have possession of, and use of, the vehicle.? Finally after more than two weeks you told us that the documentation for your husband would not be available.? We then, at your request, went so far as to seek and find another lender that would make the vehicle loan in just your name only, which we successfully did because of your stated need for the vehicle.? After doing so, you reversed your decision and declined to proceed with the loanWe then advised you that as a result of your decision to not proceed with the vehicle loan, the vehicle would have to be returned, at which point you asked for your down payment of $2,to be returned and began making claims that “you were being treated unfairly”.? ? We were, and still are, confused as to why someone would desperately want a truck so badly as you expressed, apply for several loans to buy it jointly with your husband and fail to produce each time the very last document needed to complete the loan.? Then, as a last resort, you asked us to find a lender who would make the vehicle loan in just your name, and we did.? Now, with the loan you wanted approved and after using the truck for almost weeks and on more than one occasion remarking how happy you were with the vehicle, you abruptly returned the truck and began demanding the return of your down payment.? ? Because of the suspicion created by such an abrupt change of mind, document irregularities and your change of attitude demonstrated by your profane and confrontational language directed toward members of our staff, we took the time to review the entire set of circumstances and as you are already aware, the decision to issue a check for the return of your $was authorized on March 21, and will be sent to you at your address of record as it would have been days earlier had it not been for the aforementioned concerns.? ? We hope this action taken is satisfactory and would hope that the next time you have an interest in a vehicle purchase you will stop and see us at Dixie Imports and become one of our plus satisfied annual car buyers

Customer was not discriminated against. Her salesperson was also African American. I have attached the paystub along with the notes from [redacted] as to the reason this deal could not be funded. This deal has been forwarded to our attorney in the matter of fraudulent...

paystubs. Thank You, [redacted]

[redacted] I am sorry about the experience you had with our company. I just started about 3 weeks ago and this will be the first time I see or hear about this problem. I wish I could have been more help in making you happy.

My name is Ray H[redacted] I have just seen your complaint  on the Revdex.com. This will be the first time I see this complaint I would love to help you with this matter. Please feel free to get incontact with me thank you

[redacted] purchased a 2013 Ford Taurus from Dixie Imports, Inc on 05/02/2015. I have attached a copy of the contract that was signed by her. This was supposed to be a 60 day same as cash, which means you pay it off within 60 days with no interest. As stated in the contract there was 2...

payments to be made of $5,365. Which would have put the payoff date on 7/01/15. I have attached her payment history also showing that she was not keeping with the payment schedule. [redacted] is not the one in charge of repossessions. Our attorney sends any repossessed customer a letter telling them what the process is for recovering said repossessed vehicle. When she called [redacted] she was contacting him at 10:00 at night via text, where he told her she was not in charge of repossessions and he does not know what is said in letter that if she has questions to contact the attorney that sent her the letter. I have also attached a copy of repossession order showing that we worked with [redacted] above and beyond the actual date the vehicle was supposed to be paid off.  If you have any questions please contact me at the number listed below or e-mail Thank You,[redacted]

Mrs [redacted] my name is [redacted] and I have taken over as GM at both Dixie Imports and Dixie Motors . I would like to see what I can do to resolve this matter. please feel free to respond back so we can put this behind us and in the near future help you with your car purchase. Thank you for your time

This complaint was resolved July 5, 2017 to the satisfaction of the Buyer.  Unfortunately the warranty company the Buyer purchased the policy from should have been who he contacted for a refund and explanation of any calculation of monies due just as it was explained to him.  The Buyer’s...

complaint should have been to the Insurer if he was not satisfied.  However, Dixie Imports took it upon themselves to issue a check for a refund in an amount that was satisfactory to the Buyer and in turn seek reimbursement from the insurer which was then denied.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] I have emailed Earl B[redacted] a complete 31 page report from the warranty company on 2/28 explaining why the warranty denied my claim. Earl B[redacted] said that he and another member of the team would review it and get back to me. On 3/1/2017 I called earl back and he has yet to get back to regarding the matter. I do not accept Dixie Importa response. Ecause they know have the legal information from my warranty company stating that they denied the claim and the reason why. I also faxed this information over to [redacted] as well and spoke to him on Monday 2/27 explaining everything in detail and I am looking for a resolution because it has been almost a month and they are dragging their feet on the situation (Dixie Imports).
Regards,
[redacted]

Waiting for a response from the warranty company

Mrs. [redacted] my name is [redacted] I have just read your complaint with Revdex.com. You originally purchased on 04/17/2014 and you stated that the problem happened on 06/29/2015 which is 14 months ago. I am really not to sure of the mechanics you toke the car to but not really sure how they can tell you...

there was a problem with this car for a year ago. Please feel free to get me something for the 3 different techs that looked at the car so I can have a better understanding of the situation.

Mrs [redacted] my name is [redacted] and I would like to see how I can help you with the matter at hand please feel free to get in contact with.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Customer was not discriminated against. Her salesperson was also African American. I have attached the paystub along with the notes from [redacted] as to the reason this deal could not be funded. This deal has been forwarded to our attorney in the matter of fraudulent paystubs. Thank You, [redacted]First of all just because a salesperson is black does not mean they do not discriminate against one another. I am mixed, therefore that statement is a very uneducated one. Second of all like I told the Manager I changed jobs. Like there is so much missing from the contract that is also missing from her statement. Whoever [redacted] is was not there and I didn't interact with her at all or she didn't introduce herself. The point of the matter is I've done my research and  this business is operating in the wrong matter. According to Consumer Protection Laws the dealership failed to obtain certificate of title in the name of the purchaser ([redacted]) on or before the 40th day of sale.  Dixon Imports, INC accepted a trade in contingent upon financing being arranged. The trade-in has been held hostage by Dixie Imports. I have proof that I was told the car would be available for pickup on 10/01/2016 and it was "ON VACATION WITH A SALESMAN". I have text messages from [redacted] Henry stating I was not trying to keep the car I just wanted my trade in and title back. In violation of R.C.1317.16 the 2009 Cadillac was repossessed on the night of 9/28/2016. In violation of R.C. 1317.12, Dixie Imports failed to send out a notice constituting a default which there isn't one because there is no financing on the car. Under  O.A.C. 109:4-3-07 they failed to provide me at the time of trade-in stating cl[redacted]y and conspicuously under what conditions I was able to get my trade in back. When I contacted [redacted], on 9/15/16, I was told that I would receive something within 10 days of the financing falling through, I never received that paperwork. I was also told by management at [redacted] that they have no records of the car I was trying to finance or me. At this point I have lost a car because I have no transportation and because Dixie Imports transfered the Mississippi title over to the dealership they are giving me the runaround about getting that car back. I am asking for my car back, like I said I have proof that they stated they will give the car back and no one has honored that statement a Dixie Imports yet. When my Husband called and asked about the car on 10/3/2016 the lady that answered the phone laughed. I don't see what is so funny about stealing a persons car. I have been very reasonable and patient. I have a witness that was on the phone when I took the 2009 Cadillac back to the lot to pick up my Chrysler and [redacted] asked me where I was working so that he could go ahead and keep me in the car. I have been laughed at, hung up on, and left on the phone line when calling to inquire about my 2006 Chrysler and the best response or defense they have about this whole wrong ordeal is a statement about "fraudulent stubs" which was cleared up due to another job. It's not right and I'm only asking for my car back, my only vehicle, so that I can go to work. I had an emergency and missed my Mom having major surgery in Mississippi. This is a very stressful situation all because they are trying to find loop holds to keep the car that I own. I don't see a lawyer stating what they did was right after all the violations I listed above.
