Thanks for your inquiry. Our records indicate that you and your husband attempted to purchased a vehicle, a Ford F-pick up truck, from us on February 17, 2018. Unfortunately, your financing was declined by the lender when they could not verify some of the information that you had provided. We satisfied your request to retain use of the vehicle while we attempted to search for an additional lender that would approve your application. The next day a second tentative approval was located for the vehicle loan and again you assured us that it would be no problem in providing the needed documents relating to your husband as the joint applicant. Daily we communicated with you for the needed documents and daily, you indicated you would provide them all the while continuing to have possession of, and use of, the vehicle. Finally after more than two weeks you told us that the documentation for your husband would not be available. We then, at your request, went so far as to seek and find another lender that would make the vehicle loan in just your name only, which we successfully did because of your stated need for the vehicle. After doing so, you reversed your decision and declined to proceed with the loanWe then advised you that as a result of your decision to not proceed with the vehicle loan, the vehicle would have to be returned, at which point you asked for your down payment of $2,to be returned and began making claims that “you were being treated unfairly”. We were, and still are, confused as to why someone would desperately want a truck so badly as you expressed, apply for several loans to buy it jointly with your husband and fail to produce each time the very last document needed to complete the loan. Then, as a last resort, you asked us to find a lender who would make the vehicle loan in just your name, and we did. Now, with the loan you wanted approved and after using the truck for almost weeks and on more than one occasion remarking how happy you were with the vehicle, you abruptly returned the truck and began demanding the return of your down payment. Because of the suspicion created by such an abrupt change of mind, document irregularities and your change of attitude demonstrated by your profane and confrontational language directed toward members of our staff, we took the time to review the entire set of circumstances and as you are already aware, the decision to issue a check for the return of your $was authorized on March 21, and will be sent to you at your address of record as it would have been days earlier had it not been for the aforementioned concerns. We hope this action taken is satisfactory and would hope that the next time you have an interest in a vehicle purchase you will stop and see us at Dixie Imports and become one of our plus satisfied annual car buyers

I Did receive a check from the car coI am not asking for any $$ however the context in which the sent the money is not truethey nover told me I had to contct the insurance co and get my refundI also was told by both loan co and the auto co that Gap insurance was pre paid and the I would get a refund if I paid my load of earlyI explained in previous email what both the loan co and auto co told me. The want to make it seem as they were doing me a favor by cutting me a check and that is now true. I have reserch this since then and now I know that I should never purchase gap insurance from a car dealership. I should only purchase Gap insurance as a rider on my existing insurance policy

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I reject the business response because as I stated to the previous rep of Revdex.com they are dragging this out and it's even got to the point that Dixie Imports are stating that they do not have record of doing business with me When I purchased my vehicle the check engine light was on and MrE B*** said that my warranty could cover that but I would have to wait 2/weeks so that my warranty company would approve it He said that the job was too expensive and he wouldn't fix it but guaranteed that my warranty company would which is why I too it off the lot I then came back a week later saying that myc ar was riding funny and my check engine light is still on and he said that again my warranty would cover it and just wait a little longer so they wouldn't think that it was preexisting They continuously state that they are waiting for a response from the warranty company and I sent over a page report from the legal depart of my warranty company stating why the denied the claim I have continuously done my part and have not came up with a resolution

I reject their response because I was specifically told that my warranty would fix it and Earle B*** said he wouldn't fix it because it's an expensive job; he guaranteed that it would be covered but to wait days before I call it inThe VEHICLE was sold to me with the check engine light on and I told him that I have a daughter and I can't take a vehicle unsafe and he states that he would fix it but it's too much just go to the warranty company but wait days or they will think it's PRE EXISTING

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I had trouble the first day that the car was purchasedThe dealership agreed to fix the vehicle problems ans did not do soI gave the dealership 2,dollarsThe car did not run properly after signing for the vehicle Nevertheless my electronic signing was signed by Michael l*** a car salesman and not myself I have pictures to prove as well as recorded videos throughout the whole dealing with the dealership I have Dixie imports attempting to fix the vehicle , I have documentation of Dixie imports keeping my vehicle for months and returning the vehicle in the same condition Dixie import has taken numerous of buyers money the crooked way and has also failed the consumer sales law This issue has not been resolved and I would like to be opted out of this 13,car loan when the car didn’t hold up the first week of signing There is also a lady that worked with Dixie imports that admitted that the company does dirty business and has taken a bunch of peoples money by selling bad cars. I have proof for everything that they have done wrong The car gave me trouble the same day I got it after they agreed to fix all the problems with the vehicle . Regards,*** ***

Earl is contacting customer to apologize and come up with a solution for the customers inconvenience of the salespersons neglect of not responding to the customer

*** is to drop her car off tomorrow 03/24/to have the repairs doneWe will be giving her a loaner car till vehicle is repaired

Business stated they never increased the price of the vehicle They said the customer drove the car and something went wrong with it (timing chain) She took it elsewhere to be fixed and then comes back It was denied by the warranty co, which they can't control b/c it was a pre-existing issue How can it be pre-existing if the car started and stopped?
