The vehicle was purchased by *** husband and not herWe verified that he was a signer on the accountOur credit card machine was down the day the card was swiped. This was a downpayment for a purchase of a vehicleAs far as her concerns that we will run the card againWe no longer

First of all, Dixie Motors was well aware of the bait and switch tactic it was using in selling us a vehicle and perhaps the proper and fair thing to have done at the time was to say the car was replete with issues considering it took three weeks for Dixie Motors to get the car to start, telling us it was something as simple as ordering the "correct part" from WisconsinWhen we "toke position" (and I assume Dixie Motors means 'took possession'; if not, my apologies) of the vehicle, we were promised a y***'s warranty to cover any other problems which we believe they had to have known about but did not say thenThe warranty only became an issue when we tried to pursue it, having barely driven the vehicle for a few days before we began to list its problems, internal and externalDixie app***ed to have also been annoyed with our initial complaint to the Cincinnati Revdex.com which *** *** confronted us about and we believe they withdrew the promise to give us the warranty out of spite. This matter has not been resolved

I Did receive a check from the car coI am not asking for any $$ however the context in which the sent the money is not truethey nover told me I had to contct the insurance co and get my refundI also was told by both loan co and the auto co that Gap insurance was pre paid and the I would get a refund if I paid my load of earlyI explained in previous email what both the loan co and auto co told me. The want to make it seem as they were doing me a favor by cutting me a check and that is now true. I have reserch this since then and now I know that I should never purchase gap insurance from a car dealership. I should only purchase Gap insurance as a rider on my existing insurance policy

Dixie imports agreed to fix the vehicle prior to the problem the same day of signingThe dealership also claimed that the vehicle had minor issues, Dixie import refused to disclose the engine and transmission problems The dealership kept the vehicle for three months and returned the vehicle to me in the same condition that occurred that day of signing The dealership also forced/enticed me to purchase the vehicle by making me believe that I was approved by a bank, making me give a down payment and asking me to come and pick up the vehicle the next day of signing claiming that everything would be fixed The dealership has a history or doing this same thing to numerous of customers Dixie import failed the consumer sales practice act.

This complaint was resolved on April 6, to the satisfaction of the Buyer Even though the Buyer purchased a vehicle “as is” and acknowledged so by his signature on an As Is Disclosure at the time of purchase, Dixie Imports was able to help the Buyer obtain and pay for a short term
warranty from *** Warranty Co to the satisfaction of the Buyer The Buyer then, less than days later, purchased an additional vehicle on May 3, much to his satisfaction and also to that of Dixie Imports

*** *** purchased a Ford Taurus from Dixie Imports, Inc on 05/02/I have attached a copy of the contract that was signed by herThis was supposed to be a day same as cash, which means you pay it off within days with no interestAs stated in the contract there was
payments to be made of $5,Which would have put the payoff date on 7/01/I have attached her payment history also showing that she was not keeping with the payment schedule. *** is not the one in charge of repossessionsOur attorney sends any repossessed customer a letter telling them what the process is for recovering said repossessed vehicleWhen she called *** she was contacting him at 10:00 at night via text, where he told her she was not in charge of repossessions and he does not know what is said in letter that if she has questions to contact the attorney that sent her the letterI have also attached a copy of repossession order showing that we worked with *** *** above and beyond the actual date the vehicle was supposed to be paid off. If you have any questions please contact me at the number listed below or e-mail Thank You,*** ***

Hello ***, Thank you so much for your information regarding the purchase you made with usDixie Imports wants to formally apologize for the information that has been given to youWe are looking into the matter at this time and will be in contact with you as soon as possible to get this
matter taken care of.

The Volkswagen Passat that we purchased from Dixie Motors, has had a host of ongoing problems some of which has gone on since our first complaint to the Cincinnati Revdex.com in 2016. OIL: For the last months or so, we have had to fill the oil tank on a weekly based as it leaks just as often as
we top upWhen Eric and I took it to the mechanic, we were advised that there was a leakage in the tank itself that would have to be repaired at costWe would always arrive at a destination in the vehicle and pull out a highly heated key which we figured would not happen once we had put more oil in the reservoirWe decided to call Dixie Motors again to request a copy of the warranty which they promised us at the time of purchase (as well as a $gas card for the trouble of having to drive from Indianapolis on three separate occasions to pick up the car which we would only arrive to find out, was not quite ready to drive back to Indiana. COOLANT/ANTIFREEZE: Recently, we were on the highway when we noticed steam billowing out from the hoodWe checked and it app***ed the anti-freeze coolant needed to be topped up since it was far below the minimum lineThe dashboard also indicated a the need so we didWithin a day or so, while driving, the same steaming problem seemed to occur againThe blinking signal showed on the dashboard and we took it to a Volkswagen dealership where we l***ned that the pipe carrying the coolant back and forth beneath the car, had cracked/burst in different places and therefore could no longer hold any fluidWe were advised that the extent of the problem had caused the engine itself to give and therefore would quite possibly need an entirely new engine. ELECTRICAL & OTHER ONGOING PROBLEMS: We have had to replace worn tires in the last couple of monthsOne tire has a large bulge/bubble on it that posed a risk which we had not seen until a mechanic noticedThe headlights have not worked since we bought the vehicle and have only relied on the fog lights and fancy strip of lead lights that we were informed was put there by the last owner after he purchased itThe horns do not work and therefore makes it impossible for us to alert another driver if we were in their blind spot and they were within inches of hitting us (which has occurred more than once.) The radio has not worked since day one and was one of the promises make to us by Dixie Motors that would be covered by warranty and could be fixed by the dealershipLastly, the trunk will not open unless my son climbs into the trunk through the back seat and pulls to release the latch and open the trunk. Since we had been promised a one y*** warranty before and had not as yet received it almost one y*** after the purchase of the vehicle, we contacted them again and have had no luck speaking with anyone there at Dixie Motors. The vehicle is un-drivable and has cost several hundreds of dollars simply getting it to run on a daily basisThe promise to give us a warranty has not materializedWe made direct complaints to Dixie Motors immediately after we took possession of the vehicleTo date, there has been no such warranty received from Dixie Motors and efforts at contacting either our sales person, *** *** or his manager *** *** have been impossible at best. Our goal is to be mobile and in a safe, reliable vehicleWe are both employed and must be at work each dayWe have kids who are enrolled in extra-curricular activities that cannot be reached without transportationFrankly, with this many problems, we would prefer to give the car back for a full refund of our deposit of $in March 2016, at the time of our purchase. Any assistance in this regard will be much appreciatedAgain, thank you for our time and attention. *** *** *** *** ***
