While at a store I checked the Walmart website for price match policy (http://help.walmart.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/31/~/walmarts-price-matching-po...⇄ and selected items I wished to purchase which appeared to be covered by this policy (match was for exact match and from best buy.com). At the checkout I was told that Walmart does not pricematch and shown a contradictory policy notice. I was unable to find this policy on their corporate website. I spoke with customer service manager and assistant manager who were unable to help. In my opinion this was effectively a bait and switch operation, where I was lead to believe that I would receive a lower price due to price matching policy on their corporate website, and told that the items would be much more expensive at the checkout, where I felt pressured to purchase the items at the higher price. It would appear that Walmart no longer feels that it is necessary to honor their own policies.
Store: s fort Apache In Las Vegas, NVThis is my home store, never had a single complaint aboutI mean, it's Walmart in the end, you expect basic service But one rotten apple spoils the whole barrelThe humiliation and anger that was brought upon me was unimaginableSadly for me, it has become a true story One the night of May 11th around 10pmI wander into the store and I see merchandise that I'd like to purchaseUnfortunately they were still in boxes so we asked a gentleman (later we find out his name is [redacted] to see if he could open the boxes for usHe did, he opened up the boxes and handed it to usHe was happy to help a customer outKeep it mind, A WALMART EMPLOYEE OPENED THE BOXES FOR US we didn't just barge into them ourselvesAs we're looking through them, [redacted] (overnight stocker usually in the automotive section) CHARGES towards usHe's about where camping is and we're at toysFrom there, he YELLS, "ENOUGH! GET OUT." This is pretty much from across the store, yelling at usHe comes over to us, yelling the whole time"GET OUT OF THEREAND GET OUTYOU GUYS AREN'T SUPPOSED TO TOUCH THIS!!!!" At the same time, me and my bf respond calmly, "We asked someoneThey let us." We said "we asked" times, but it never went into [redacted] 's ears because he was so focused on berating usI said, "Do you want me to find that guy? He's an African American young gentleman." [redacted] yells back, "NO I'LL FIND HIMI DON'T EVEN HAVE ROOM ON THE FLOOR FOR THEM AND NOW I HAVE TO PUT THEM OUT BECAUSE YOU GUYS OPENED THEMTHATS THE LAST BOX YOU LOOK IN, AND GET OUT!!!" He says all this while picking up the boxes and SLAMMING them stacking them on top of each other, possibly damaging the product tooThese items were in a dump bin already on the floor where it was going to be displayed, so I know he was lying about that(Saw it there the next day in the exact same spot with PLENTY of room to walk around.) I then calmly asked for his name, he turns his body so that his name tag is not visible to meHe ignores me the first time, I ask again and he says, " [redacted] ." and arrogantly trolls off The main points I wanted to address is 1) I asked and got permission from a walmart employee to look into the boxesHe actually opened the boxes for us2) Clueless [redacted] comes out assuming and accusing paying loyal customers of going into boxes on their own3) [redacted] BERATING AND HUMILIATING us in public and in front of other customers4) There were a million different ways [redacted] could've approached us (preferably calmly and rationally) instead of screaming at us from across the store and then scolding us about how he has to do his job now I have contacted customer relationsI have spoke with co managers ***(the following day) and [redacted] (night of the tragic event)The response I got was basically saying all that will happen to [redacted] is "he will get addressed." I sat on that response for a bit and decided to call customer relations back to escalate the matter to their district managerI am still currently waiting for a response from himNot that I wasn't happy with the co managers listening to me and giving me information, I just feel that for the HUMILIATION and ANGER that [redacted] has brought upon me with him berating us in public deserves a little more than "he will be addressed on the situation." An apology from [redacted] would be favorable and I would drop everything In the meantime, I want to make this situation public so that other customers are awareCEO's won't even berate customers like thatWhat gives an overnight stocker the power in his head to do so?

Walmart in Belton Texas automotive center are scamming people out of hard earned money regularly. First off this has happened before. But yesterday 03/19/2018 I went to Walmart automotive in Belton Texas to have the battery on my car check. Not at any point did I say I was ready to purchase because my car was still working. The gentlemen sensed my hesitation told me that IF I indeed did need a battery that they have one that will work for my vehicle on rollback for only $67. I specifically told him I'd think about it because there is an establishment called batteries plus that sells batteries for $60. I left my keys with the gentlemen and went into Walmart to grab a few things. When called back I was told I did in fact need a new battery and that they replaced mine with the same brand. I was furious because not only was I not intending on purchasing but the battery they put in my car without my consent or approval was not the sale one but literally the most expensive one. Rude customer service and policies not upheld A customer service cashier / rep was rude to me today, scoffed at me, and refused to uphold price matching policies as stated on Walmart.comI asked about a price matching and she lashed at me saying Walmart no longer price matches, however online it does, and she refused to look at my mobile device with the site pulled upShe then told me she didn't have time to help me, while no one else was in lineI asked to speak with a manger, and with out movingbor checking on her radio, she told me one was not availableI finished my purchase and that cashier didn't even bag my purchase I then left the store The price matched item was only a matter of $10, so I'm not sure why it turned out to be such a massive issue for the employee
Chat Conversation Start 9:31PM Earlier while shopping the Freehold, NJ store with my wifeI walked over to the electronics associate who was extremely professional and customer oriented if I was able to price match an item and if I was using the policy for price matching correctlyHe then pulled out his phone and scanned the UPC to verify that I wasHe said that it was okay and that he would just need to bring it up front for a manager to approveI told him I was still shopping and that I would come back to handle itOnce done I returned but he was helping another customer buy an Xbox OneI had already spent enough time shopping I just wanted to leave so I brought the item up to check out where my cashier was an older gentleman named [redacted] or ***I explained to him the situation about wanting to price match the item and that I had spoken to the associate in electronics previously about itHe then asks me for my phone to check the price that's coming up on Walmart.comHe then calls up a manager I think her name was [redacted] or [redacted] ? I'm not 100% sure and tells her I wanted to price match the item then rudely starts calling me out and telling me how wrong I am about it in front of my wife, other customers, the manager and another tall fellow with a yellow vest, shaggy looking hair and big glasses that works thereI calmly explained the situation to the manager and the tall shaggy looking fellowThen she and the shaggy looking fellow start telling me her electronics associate is wrong, that my whole concept of the price match policy is wrong, that I am wrongI then tell them again that he pulled his phone out using the Walmart app scanned the item and I was right the old man then scans the item and it comes up differnt and he then tells me again rudely that I'm wrong and if I don't like it to order it onlineAt that point, I told them that I did not want to purchase any of my items that were in my cartMy wife ended up going back to get the itemsThey treated me like excrement like I was trying to [redacted] the placeI told the manager who I have seen plenty of times before being I live in the area that every time I come into this store they always single me out when it comes to price matching because they doI have never had any issues at any other Walmart in my area when using the policy as it is intendedI then left the items and grabbed the item I wanted price matched and walked off to electronics to get the associate I had spoken to before while my wife checked out and paid for the rest of the itemsI explained to him the situation and he said he has no idea why they would be treating me like thatHe then told me not to worry and we walked up to self-check where he told the cashier that the item needed to be price checked as the tall shaggy looking fellow with the big glasses comes over Yelling hold up! No no no! What are you doing!? sliding between me and the electronics associateElectronics associate then explained to him that I was right and that it was correctHe then pulls it up on his phone to show him and the guy all nasty grabs it out of his handThe yells at him to keep it open and then he pulls his phone out and scans the itemThen he's like your right we still need managers overrideNo apologies no nothingDidn't admit they were wrong did not say a word to meThen the manager who was overseeing my wife check out suddenly disappear as well as any managementShe finished checking out at today 05/07/time 19:I waited for a manager to come over for mins when I finally completed my purchase at 19:Extremely rude and unprofessional I have never been treated like this beforeOnce the manager came over it was someone totally different then I had been dealing withHe didn't say anything to me but looked [redacted] and upsetI then turned to the electronics associate and told him Thank youWhile the tall shaggy fellow just played on a mobile cart while staring me down as I leftUnbelievable, I will not be shopping at this location anymore and will be spreading the word to my neighbors in Freehold they should do the sameI'm offended and hurtI have never had to deal with a situation handled so unprofessionally and extremely rude in my lifeCompletely Unacceptable
