Tickets came very quickly after I ordered them online. Great Service!
Thank you for your response regarding this matter. Though Ms. [redacted] continues to press forward with this matter, Online City Tickets maintains that all pricing and order details are adequately presented prior to entering any payment, as no order can be placed without the customer being presented this information. As we noted in our previous response, though Ms. [redacted] has filed this complaint and has been in contact with us, this order was placed by Mr. [redacted]. As we previously clarified, Online City Tickets operates on the secondary market, which means we have no affiliation with the venue and operate on our own independent website. Furthermore, this information is reiterated throughout the checkout process. We additionally explain on our website that customers may be paying above face value for tickets. Directly on our website we clearly state, “We are a resale marketplace, not a box office or venue. Ticket prices may exceed face value. This site is not owned by any venue or box office.” As we previously detailed, after Mr. [redacted] navigated our website and selected tickets for [redacted], he was brought to our checkout screen where we displayed all ticket information and pricing details. As we have stated, this information is presented prior to entering any payment information though Ms. [redacted] has suggested otherwise. Mr. [redacted] then agreed to our sales terms and conditions, where we state, “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).” Online City Tickets has attempted to resolve this matter in the interest of customer service, though Ms. [redacted] has declined. Mr. [redacted] placed his order on 12/6/16 and received his valid tickets on 1/5/17 for him to print and bring to his event taking place on 2/24/17. We have fully adhered to our terms and conditions. We consider this matter closed, as we have sufficiently addressed all of Ms[redacted] concerns. Should Ms. [redacted] or Mr. [redacted] have questions regarding this order, they are encouraged to reach out to our customer service department. Regards, Online City Tickets
I received my ticket order as requested.
Thank you!
Fast and accurate service.
Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the concerns of our valued customer, Mr. [redacted]. On 8/29/2017, Mr. [redacted] purchased tickets to see Janet Jackson. This event was later postponed by the artist for a later date. Though Mr. [redacted] has indicated otherwise, this is the first we are hearing of his...
concerns as we have no record of him reaching out via telephone, email, or Live Chat application requesting to discuss this matter. In regards to Mr. [redacted] claim that he was not aware he was purchasing from a resale marketplace, we would like to note that customers are notified on every page of the checkout process, including on the final checkout page with the statement, "Inventory: We are a resale marketplace. We are not a box office or venue. This site is not owned by any venue."It should be noted that Mr. [redacted] typically would not be able to receive a refund for a postponed event, per the policy agreed to at checkout. This policy is in place with the goal of ensuring that our customers can attend the event they originally selected. We understand that in some cases, customers may want a refund for these postponed events. We consider the delays and the likelihood of the event to be rescheduled, in order to be responsive to the needs of our customers. In the interest of customer service, we resolved this matter with Mr. [redacted] via email. If Mr. [redacted] has any further questions or concerns regarding this order, we welcome him to contact a member of our customer service team by phone, email, or Live Chat.Regards,Online City Tickets
Easy and quick.
Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the concerns of our valued customer, Mr. [redacted]. At...
Online City Tickets, we value our customers and appreciate the opportunity to address this matter. Mr. [redacted] has claimed that he believed he was purchasing through the website of the venue, or of the event itself. However, it should be noted that our web address and branding are intentionally dissimilar from those of any other ticket website. Online City Tickets is an online resale marketplace, which means that we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. This fact is noted on every ticket and checkout page and at the top of our homepage with the statement: “We are a resale marketplace, not a box office or venue. Ticket prices may exceed face value. This site is not owned by any venue or box office."
Likewise, with regard to Mr. [redacted]' claim that the price of his tickets was different than the price printed on the tickets themselves, it should be noted that this is a common occurrence on the secondary market. Because all tickets on our site are owned and listed by individual sellers, prices are set by those sellers--not by Online City Tickets--in accordance with their assessments of various market factors such as customer demand. Therefore, ticket prices are not based on the original purchase price, or "face value" or the tickets, and may be higher or lower than that amount.
Because our customers are purchasing tickets owned by individual sellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer cancellations and must adhere to an "all sales are final" policy—a standard throughout the industry. This policy is disclosed throughout the purchase process—from a notice on every ticket page to a sales terms statement displayed at checkout with the message “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).”
Mr. [redacted]' valid, authentic tickets were 8/25, and he has subsequently downloaded them. Additionally, the event in question took place on 8/28. As such, Online City Tickets has fully adhered to our sales terms and conditions, to which Mr. [redacted] agreed prior to purchase. We have also reached out to Mr. [redacted] and provided a resolution to this matter that is amicable to both parties. If Mr. [redacted] has any further questions or concerns regarding this or any other order, we encourage him to reach out to a member of our customer service team. At this time, we consider this matter closed.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:I did receive tickets today (the day of the concert). Although we will be able to attend the concert, the tickets I received were not nearly as good seats as the ones I purchased. My total purchase was $628.30 for five tickets or $125.66 per ticket. The ones I received clearly say $59.50 each. So, my dissatisfaction is that the guarantee they advertise "commensurate value tickets by the time of the concert" was not met. I believe I am due a partial refund. The other issue is that they didn't resolve the problem until the day before the concert which led to a very stressful situation not knowing if the concert which had been promsed to family, some of whom were travelling from out of town, would be happening. Trying to get someone on their call center phones is nearly impossible. Once I held for 2 hours until finally being cut off. I figured out how to get through to higher level agents, but couldn't get anyone to commit to resolve the situation until the day before the concert. My conclusion is either that this company is either disingenuous or totally clueless about reasonable customer service.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
Everithing went extremly well. Service was clear and fast. I juste have to verified to make sure i've got Real tickets.
The ticket price has a handling surcharge (in our case $33.00/ticket) plus a $7.50 download charge, and we still have to print the tickets our. These charges are not revealed until you are ready to purchase the tickets.
Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/02/24) */
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take the customer experience seriously and would like to take the time to address Ms. [redacted] concerns. We should explain that OnlineCityTickets.com is an online resale marketplace,...
which means we do not own or generate tickets--instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. This fact is noted on every checkout page and at the top of our homepage with the statement: "We are a resale marketplace. Prices may exceed face value. This site is not owned by any venue."
We understand that Ms.[redacted] ordered tickets to see Disney on Ice - Frozen on February 15, 2015. This show was later rescheduled for February 18, 2015. Because of this, Ms.[redacted] has asked that OnlineCityTickets refund her order--citing the reason that she cannot attend a weeknight performance. However, because sellers on our site list their own tickets and are notified as soon as an order for their tickets is placed, we are unable to cancel or refund orders, or provide exchanges. We can provide refunds only in certain situations, such as when an event is cancelled and not rescheduled. As the Refund Policy transparently described in our sales terms states: "All sales are final. A full refund of the purchase price, excluding shipping charges, will be given for cancelled events."
While we regret Ms. [redacted] frustration and are sorry that she was unable to attend her event, the fact that the event has simply been rescheduled means that we are unable to provide her requested refund. As a courtesy we have refunded a portion of the service and delivery charge associated with her order. We can take no further action, and consider this matter closed. However, if Ms.[redacted] has any other questions or concerns, we welcome her to contact us.
Thank you,
OnlineCityTickets
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/02/26) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
As a company selling tickets and I'm sure making a good amount of money doing so, you should be responsible if a show is cancelled or postponed and the party is unable to attend. There should be a full refund or a credit to another show. I will be sure that anyone I know looking to attend a show, does not purchase tickets from online city. What a disgrace. You should be shut down. I am a avid review writer and will continue to leave my review on every site.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2015/03/04) */
While we regret Ms. [redacted] continued dissatisfaction, we are unable to provide the refund she has requested. As we stated in our previous response, OnlineCityTickets can provide refunds only for cancelled events; as Ms. [redacted] event was not cancelled, it is not eligible for a refund in accordance with our Money-Back Guarantee. This is because we must ensure our sales policies are fair to sellers as well as buyers, and because an artist or venue's decision to reschedule an event is beyond our purview. Once again, this Refund Policy is transparently described in our sales terms: "All sales are final. A full refund of the purchase price, excluding shipping charges, will be given for cancelled events."
Our "all sales are final" policy is clearly described multiple times throughout the checkout process, from our sales terms to a final statement just above the "Place Order" button. All customers must review and explicitly agree to these terms; failure to do so prevents the order from being completed. While we are sorry for Ms. [redacted] frustration and regret that she was unable to attend her event, we cannot provide compensation beyond the partial service and delivery charge refund that we have already provided. We consider this matter resolved.
Thank you,

I thought I was buying a premium ticket. I only paid a premium price. The company was absolutely unhelpful. I would not purchase anything from them in the future. A very negative experience.
Easy to use interface and prompt delivery.
Buyers beware!I I purchased two tickets to wwe no mercy and they charged me for 4 freaking tickets!!!! I am filing a complaint these people are crooks!
Easy to use site. Timely delivery
This was Fast, Easy, and most important, user friendly!
Thank you for reaching out to us in relation to our customer's concerns. It should be noted that the tickets our customer received clearly state, “All Accessible Seat,” which means their seats will be completely accessible to them as patrons. Nevertheless, we do ask that sellers list tickets with...
all information which appears on the ticket itself to provide complete transparency. As such, we have discussed this matter with our customer and are pleased to have reached an amicable resolution. At this time, we consider this matter resolved and encourage our customer to contact us with any additional questions they may have.Regards,Online City Tickets

I am rejecting this response : I already talked to customer service , but still feel it should not be under a Consol website. I hope others are more careful . The end of dispute !
Sincerely,

Thank you for getting back to us regarding this issue. While Mr. [redacted] continues to press forward with this issue, all details were provided to him prior to completing his purchase. We are not, due to the nature of our business, able to offer refunds once a sale has been completed and must enforce an “all sales are final” policy that was agreed to during checkout. Due to the seller receiving notice that their tickets sold the moment the order was placed, we are unable to honor a full refund. As we previously stated, all disclosures, including obstructed view and alcohol free, were shown to Mr. [redacted] multiple times at checkout. We have provided Mr. [redacted] with a resolution that he has declined. If Mr. [redacted] has any additional concerns they would like to discuss, they are welcome to reach out to our customer service department.
Regards,
Online City Tickets
I would not rate my experience with this business highly. They charged me close to fifty dollars per ticket as a "service charge"! And in addition to that, an "email delivery charge fee." I think that is a load of [redacted], personally. I bought two tickets at $140 apiece, and have to spend another hundred dollars for service fees? No.
