I received an email stating that I would not be charged Following that email, I was charged $ I would like an answer as to why this happened I do not understand why I was charged after I received an email saying that I would not be I also want to know what the alleged damage was No one has been able to tell me If you claim my product was damaged, I want it returned to me Please read the attached letter It explains everything in GREAT detail As of now, my subscription with Xbox have been cancelled Until this is resolved, and my money is returned to me, I will not be reactivating it I know, without a doubt, that there was no damage to the Kinect that I returned for repair Its only issue was that it was powering off There was absolutely no cosmetic/visible damage There are only possible explanations for Microsoft to claim damage: 1.) There was an error made (Due to the lack of answers I have been able to get, I feel like this is the most likely.) 2.) The Kinect was damaged in shipping (Even if this is the case, I do not feel as if I should be responsible as I was not the one who paid for the shipping Insurance is they payers responsibility.) 3.) Xbox is stealing money from its customers by fraudulently claiming damage to repairs sent in(I do not believe this to be true, but if the other reasons are false, this is the only possible explanation.)Sincerely,*** ***
