Please be advised that all seats on megabus.com are sold on a reservation basis and you must travel at your specified time and dateCustomers are required to be at their departure point at least minutes before their selected trip is scheduled to departThis allows megabus.com drivers to board customers in a timely manner avoiding any delays that may impact the departure of the vehicleNo refunds or credits will be given in instances where customers miss the bus.However, in some locations megabus.com offers a same day reservation change for a fee of $5.00, per passenger, based on seat availabilityYou can see the dispatcher on duty at the stop to see what your options are

Rode megabus on 8/5/from Lexington, KY to Knoxville, TN at 10:AMBus was minutes late, but they did text and email me and let me knowBus was fullI think for the great price, it is a good experience

I’ve investigated this matter further and noticed when you booked your reservationYou did not leave hours in between the serviceMegabus.com requires when booking a manual connection you must leave hours in between each service as stated in our terms and conditions you must agree to before check outThe service going from Richmond – Fayetteville did indeed depart on timeThe bus arrived to the stop at 6:34pm and departed the stop at 6:45pmHowever, due to the bus departing the stop on time which means the passenger missed the busUnfortunately, there will be no compensation for this matter
