Used this website to sell a gift card with the promise of payment within hours of receiving the physical card It's been almost weeks since mailing the card and I have attempted to contact the cardpool customer service times and have heard nothing at all in response basically they stole my gift card
On January 18, 2017, I purchased a gift card from CardpoolWhen I went to use it on or around June, I was told that it had a balance in spite of the fact that I had never used itOver the course of the next two months, I called Cardpool on three separate occasions, left messages and never received a response despite the fact that they have a year guarantee posted on the front page of their website
I've attempted to reach this business over times in the last three weeks, no reply or call back, nobody answers the phoneThey have stolen my gift card and refuse to speak with me
I sold this company a $gift card for $under the belief payment would be sent in business dayI was sent an email saying I'll be paid in 2-weeks which is unacceptableThey have my credit card number as well to protect themselves from fraudI'm not sure if I'm the one who has to worry about fraud
I purchased a $giftcard from Cardpool with the smallest discount I have ever received on a card resale siteBut since I planned to make a purchase at that store in the next day or two, I figured the one minute transaction to save $was worth itThey stated in their checkout process and in the confirmation email that I would receive my card code within hoursAfter purchasing, Cardpool sent me a second email requesting I verify my identity on their websiteWhen I went to the site, there was a message that said their verification process was down, and that I should expect a phone call from a customer service rep shortlyI waited hours before sending their support team an email requesting they complete/expedite the processAnother hours after that, there was still no communication from Cardpool, so I sent a second message to their support team stating that the timeline had passed and that I would like to either complete the transaction or receive a refund of my moneyAfter the third day of no response, I sent an email this morning stating that I was no longer interested in the giftcard, and wanted to either cancel the order or I would have to file a fraudulent charge claim with my credit card companyA few minutes later, a customer service rep responded via email telling me that their verification process was very important to "protect their customers" and that they would still be calling me shortlyI responded immediately that they should either cancel the order, or I would have to file a fraud claimAt a certain point, their verification process violating their own terms of sale to "protect customers" is functionally equivalent to "defrauding customers"Just a few minutes after that, I received a phone call from a different customer service rep asking me to verify my identity ("a process that only takes a few minutes") to complete the transactionI told her that I had exchanged emails with the support team and wanted to cancel the order, and she said she had no information about my wish to cancel but would do so anywayI find it hard to believe that within minutes of escalating the issue via email (after three days of silence), two customer service representatives contact me with the intent to complete the transactionOut of curiosity, I asked her if it is typical for a supposedly automated $purchase to require days of emails and phone calls before it is completeShe stated that YES, IT DOES OFTEN TAKE MORE TIME than they state on their websiteBottom line -- it is not worth buying from Cardpool to save a couple of dollarsIt is a waste of time and money, and the company is not trustworthy or responsive

I was a little nervous to use Cardpool after looking at all the negative reviews but decided that there were some positive ones as well as the fact that Cardpool has been listed a couple of times in the Wallethub articles as a good place to trade in gift cards I walked through the process on a Monday evening and finished up selling them at 6:pm The next morning at 6:am (just hours later), I received the email that my Amazon gift card was ready for me to redeem I'm not sure how much smoother of a process there could be Also, they offered a much higher percentage for the card than the other sites

I attempted to register a gift card for reimbursementI submitted all of the required documentation and received a follemail indicating I was all set and would hear from them soonAt that point I shredded the *** *** gift card, seeing as how there would be no need for it in the futureA few days later I received an automated email from them indicating I needed to reenter the gift card information as there seemed to be a discrepancyI responded indicating I had shredded the card and there was no possible way to locate this informationIt took them three different responses to understand the issue and the final one basically said too bad - we told you to hang onto the cardSo, despite the fact that it was only $20.00, the way I was treated and the service I felt was inappropriate

I was going to try selling my gift cards to Cardpool and they advised that they would need my debit card informationI went ahead with providing them with this information, thinking it would be a quick and easy process that would allow me to receive the funds directly to my checking accountHowever, when I completed the transaction, they sent me an e-mail with a shipping label and instructed me to send my gift cards to their officesUntil then, I get no funds directly deposited to my account (and now have to wait for a mailed check), yet I somehow had to provide them with my debit card information?! After receiving that e-mail, I immediately became leary, and I did some research and read all of the negative reviews about this "business"At this point, I do NOT feel secure knowing that I provided this company with my debit card information, and am now concerned that my $balance in gift cards will be taken by them because I stupidly gave them the gift card numbers/pinsI want my
