When a customer comes in to cancel a product that was purchased on a vehicle we have to check to see if there is a loan on it On this vehicle there was ,so the cancellation of the monies would have to go toward paying the loan off first This is why we sent it to the bank
where the customer had a loan on his vehicleHe will have to call his bank he had the loan with and ask them where they applied itIf you need supporting documents please don't hesitate to ask

The catalytic converter is definitely restricted, caused by a faulty throttle body assemblyWe performed many, many tests to determine these problemsThe customer has had testing and service done at an aftermarket shop some where elseOur tests indicate a restricted cat converter
and that is what we go byNot some other shop's findings

We are reaching out to the customer today and asking her to bring the vehicle in for our service rep to inspect itWe will provide a loaner vehicle until we are able to resolve the issue

*** *** GM of Lou Fusz Chevrolet. I have called Mr*** concerning his wiper motor and sugges*** he reopen a complaint with General Motors and Chevrolet. The dealership will assist in any way possible for Mr*** as a go between to get assistance on the wiper motor part. The first replacement was under warranty the second was covered under a Service agreement with $deductible. The third and fouth replacement were paid by the consumer with a discount from the dealership on the last purchase. There are NO recalls on this part, There is NO service bulletins on this part. The motor arms are breaking which is consistant with some sort of load against the motor? Will be working hand in hand with GM and consumer for a resolve. *** ***

We will contact this customer and work out a resolution

To Whom It May Concern I understand the customers frustration but as I stated in my previous response this is not a Dealer issue it is the State of Missouri issue which can be verified by calling the Department of Motor Vehicles. The customer picked up their car on Friday with a check for one payment, months sirius radio, and all late fees associated with titling the vehicle. I feel Lou Fusz was fair with compensation for the customers inconvenience and wish it could have been done in a more timely manor. Sincerely,*** ***

We had a unfunded loan and the customer was asked to return car At this time we will refund him any money left after our recovery expenses and damage expenses to the vehicle

There is no way that changing the engine oil and rotating could hurt the vehicle in anywayAlso while a vehicle is being serviced it is checked by means of a point inspection to make sure that everything is functioning properly and all fluids are at the proper levels as well as making sure that
everything is functioning the way it should beThat is the only time a vehicle (usually) looked at is when the oil is changed and the tires rotated

We will reach out to the customer to resolve the matter

Thank you for your contact regarding the above complaintWhile there are areas of Mr***’ complaint that we disagree with, in the interest of good customer service we have replaced Mr***’ oil pan at no cost to him In reviewing Mr***’ service records, we found his
Camry has been serviced by our dealership since June 2013, and has had service performed at other locations during the time frame of November to May as well as at our dealership during that same period (per a *** record search)We have performed routine maintenance as requested by Mr***, and made multiple recommendations for the care and continued maintenance of his vehicle, most of which have not been performed by Lou Fusz Toyota, up to and including some important safety itemsThese suggested repairs are not reported to *** via any other repair facility from June to present With regard to his current complaint, Mr*** has spoken with multiple employees at Lou Fusz Toyota to explain his concern (*** ***, service advisor; *** ***, office manager; *** ***, customer relations manager; *** ***, service manager), of which did indeed offer Mr*** some financial assistance with the repair and replacement of the oil pan for his vehicleWhile we have explained in multiple ways to Mr*** that the oil pan drain plug can cause wear to the threads of the oil pan after multiple oil changes over the years, and that this is considered a wear item, not damage, Mr*** was not satisfied with that response Given the discrepancies between what we feel has been proper maintenance for the Camry and Mr***’ impressions of his interactions with our service department, and in the interest of good customer service, we felt it was best to replace the oil pan in question at no charge to Mr***

In speaking with Mr***, Lou Fusz Buick GMC has come to an agreement I spoke with Mr *** on 09/16/and we were able to reach an agreement and Mr*** and Lou Buick GMC have no further issues or concerns

I spoke with Mrs*** this eveningEverything has been addressed and I believe resolvedAny further questions I asked her to call me directly so we can handle them. Sincerely *** ***

Case #XXXXXXX
Complainant purchased the Pontiac Bonneville with 109,miles from Lou Fusz FIAT of Metro East (here after referred to as we and or us) on 9/17/
Complainant brought the vehicle back in to have the "due billed"
fog light bulbs replaced when they came in on 9/30/We did not charge for this as it was on the due bill along with shampooing of the seats in the vehicleAt this time they also informed us the check engine light was intermittently turning on, as they had only put an additional miles on the vehicle we attempted to resolve the issueCould not get light to turn on and as such were unable to properly diagnoseAdvised complainant if the light came back on, to come back in and we would run a diagnostic at that time
On 10/8/(110,661mi) Complainant brought the vehicle back and stated vehicle had been stallingComplainant requested we do a tune up and check spark plugsWe advised the customer it wouldn't fix the stalling issueComplainant was insistent that we do the tune upWe obliged at no cost to complainant and replaced spark plugs
On 11/10/14(112,498mi) Complainant brought the vehicle back the SES (check engine light) was on we diagnosed the issue and determined bad wiring had caused the plugs to become defectiveReplaced wires and plugs at no cost to complainantWe also provided complainant with a rental vehicle at no cost to them
On 11/24/14(113,300mi) Complainant brought vehicle in stating it was still not running properlyFurther diagnosis determined the Mass Air Flow sensor, and the serpentine belt, and a leak in rear air shocksWe fixed all issues and provided a rental car at no cost to them
On 4/2/15(122,158mi) Complainant brought the vehicle back in for an SES light (check engine light) Vehicle service contract covered the replacement of the oxygen sensor, thermostat and gasketWe covered complainant's deductible and rental car at no cost to them
On 4/6/(122,310mi) Complainant brought the vehicle in stating SES (check engine light) was on againChecked vehicle and found loose wire in connector at wiring harness for oxygen sensorReplaced wire in connector at no cost to complainant
We have taken great measures to ensure complainant's issues were resolved expeditiously and to properly at no cost to them

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2015/12/28) */
The part that failed is not covered under warranty , but we called the manufacturer, through our Nissan Store, seeing if we can get it covered under good willI will respond back when I hear from Nissan if they will assist
Initial
Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 15, 2016/01/05) */
Everything has been resolved

The vehicle has been brought back to dealership on Feb1st, it was determined that the Stabilitrac light and engine light came on due to a disruption in communication with the computer. The code Uloss of communication and Pmisfire occurred was also caused by loss of
communication. service bulletin had us check for battery cable which tested failing and caused the miscommunication. That battery cable was replaced with the new cable, test driven and all codes removed. Lou fusz apologizes for the previous repair although the smell of a leaking hose occurred after a routine oil change with in a 30day period. The customer also then took repair to another Chevrolet dealer for concern. Lou Fusz Chevrolet has followed the Chevrolet factory guidelines and there is no charge for the customer as this is being handled by Chevrolet.Thank you for your inquiry,*** *** General Manager
