Nathan and his staff did a fabulous job with our re-finance. They were thorough and easy to work with, the process was very painless and went very smooth. Answered all our questions promptly and made the process go very well. I would absolutely recommend Nathan and his staff, If we decide to re-finance again , they are my first call. Thank you again Nathan and your staff.

Being new to the refinancing process, Kenneth T was extremely helpful in communicating the steps and explaining some of the jargon used in real estate world. It was only after we signed all of the documents with our notary that the communication lines appeared to be severed. I wasn't sure if it moved to a different department, but no one reached out to me and I had a difficult time even trying to figure out how to make my first payment. After contacting Kenneth's manager, he assured me this wasn't a standard business practice, however I recently got an expiration notice from our homeowner's insurance policy, which was supposed to be paid through our escrow account with Paramount. I tracked down our new loan servicing organization and asked them to overnight a check, but I'm confused as to how this happened in the first place and why I didn't know until a month after it expired. Apparently, our insurance broker and insurance company had tried to contact Paramount, and no one responded. I can certainly believe that be the case because even now I'm having a difficult time reaching anyone over in the Paramount offices. Customer service line constantly rings, and all voicemails I've left haven't been returned. Extremely disappointed in the post-refinance process and I would certainly not want someone to go through what I'm currently going through.

I received a letter in the mail from the company denying me a loan. I never gave the company permission to pull my credit. The company sent me false information concerning my credit scores. They were incorrect on all three scores.

Loanpal Response • Feb 07, 2018

After review of our compliance specialist,, it is clear that the consumer gave explicit verbal permission to pull her credit. In addition, the consumer was actively seeking a VA loan, and went through the loan application with ***. The consumer answered all the questions asked of her, with the knowledge that she was indeed speaking to a mortgage lender about a loan application.

As far as the validity of the credit scores, we would not comment on that as we are not the authority on the matter. That is an issue with the reporting agencies, and the consumer will have to dispute their accuracy on her own.

In conclusion, we so instance of wrong doing by us. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

My experience with Nathan S and the team at Paramount Equity was extremely positive. I will recommend them to anyone I know that is looking for a group of professionals that make a complex and sometimes burdensome process seamless, informative, and very painless for the consumer. The efficiency and knowledge his team brings to the loan process is second to none. I highly recommend anyone seeking to refinance or purchasing a new home give Nathan and Paramount Equity a call!
