I want to thank Paramount Equity Mortgage and Nathan S for leading us through the re-mortgage process over the past several months. We are very happy with the way the process was handled by Paramount. Our new loan is exactly what we were striving to achieve when we started the process. I give it a 4+ start rating. Thank you again Paramount Equity Mortgage.
Loved working with Nathan at Paramount Equity Mortgage

I am very disappointed to receive a "statement of Credit Denial/ termination or Change" from Paramount Equity Mortgage LLC after almost 2 months of me declining to take up the bad loan offer from their company. I declined to go with them not the other way around. They claimed my loan is "No out of pocket" except for the $780 or so for the escrow that will be tagged to the loan which I accepted.
The only reason I was trying to refi is to lower my payment and to reduce the number of years with my current mortgagor (DITECH). I was told I qualify for HARP program and after over a month of requesting everything from me that is needed and trust me, I provided everything and anything they ask of me. They came back to tell me they have secured a loan with FANNIE MAE for me and after reviewing the amount, I saw that they had tagged about $6000 to the loan which they stated was a fee from Fannie Mae. I was furious because I have been very patient and gave them all the required documents and am wondering why FNMA wants to punish me for refinancing instead of helping me.
I declined the offer even though we were about to close because all these new fees tagged to my loan of $6K was not part of the deal and to wait till closing to spin that on me was very low of the company. I really did not care if we are closing or not, I told them I have options and would not take that deal so I declined.
I would not have said anything about their bad ways of loan processing but I got a letter stating they declined to refinance me (totally false) because of incomplete credit application? what incomplete application was that? why send out false letter or any letter at all? Glad I did not go with the company.

Johnathan was in charge of my refinance, he made the experience very pleasant. Jonathan was in constant contact with me and was very personable. I never felt uneasy working with him. Johnathan kept me up to date every step of the way and made sure I had everything I needed to get things completed on my end. I was even able to have someone come to me for the signing. I didn't have to take time off of work or take time away from my family to complete the process.
Jonathan went above and beyond to address any concerns I had and to resolve any issues that arose. I would recommend Paramount Equity to anyone looking to refinance. It was a pleasure working with Jonathan, I hope the gets recognized for his work and customer care.

On November 9, 2017, my husband recieved a unsolicited telephone call while at work from a Paramount Equity Mortgage Representative. We had been a prior customer of this company and apparently they were calling to try to get us to refinance. The man on the phone told my husband that there were a couple options to refinance. My husband asked what they were. At that point, without stating that he was going to run our credit, this individual used our prior data to run our credit. I called the next day (11/10/17) to speak with the manager (the receptionist told me his name was ***), however, the manager refused to speak with me and instead put me in touch with the same indivdual that my husband spoke with. This gentleman claimed that he said it but maybe "my husband didn't hear him" and that legally my husband could authorize him to run my credit as well. I had my husband listen to my conversation with this gentleman, and he stated that he NEVER said that he would run our credit and had he specifically said that he would, my husband would have told him no and ended the call. He also stated that he heard every word this gentleman said. A week later, we recieved a letter stating that the HOME LOAN WE APPLIED FOR had been denied. WE NEVER APPLIED FOR A HOME LOAN!!!!!! The request for the home loan was placed on 11/10/17 after I had called them stating we were not interested and that I was upset my credit had been run. There is a BIG difference between asking about different types of loans available and RUNNING SOMEONES CREDIT AND APPLYING FOR A HOME LOAN without the individuals approval.
Good afternoon. My name is *** and on 12/14 I had submitted a complaint online re: Paramount Equity (complaint #***). The VP of the company has reached out to me as a result and has addressed all of my concerns. I would like to close out this complaint at this time and I appreciate the Revdex.com's assistance in this matter. If you have any questions, you may call me at ***. Thank You.
