A loan process was started for a refinance with Loanpal. I was denied a loan due to a hold up with my divorce. Part of the process involved Loanpal securing a $495 dollar payment for an appraisal of my property. Loanpal was given the money immediately from my account. Upon learning of the denial for the refinance I was told a refund would take a week to process. I waited the week and no money. I contacted the loan officer my email and by phone several times only to be told the refund will take 24 to 96 hours more.

Just thought I would look back at the refi process a few months after refinancing with Paramount and began to read these negative reviews. I have to say that our experience with Paramount was excellent, no hiccups at all. Ian B, Shirley D and Jessica T were easy to work with and the process was very t***sparent. I did have to supply at least an average amount of information throughout the process but no more than I would have expected for a loan of the amount we refinanced. Everything but the final signing was electronic and the whole process, including the appraisal, only took 30 days. I have recommended Paramount to a relative already and will continue to do so until I hear of any serious negatives that are not the fault of those applying for the loans...
