I'm sorry but it seems there was some miscommunication. This is the exact same issue that the unit was replaced for- a short in the vehicle's wiring harness damaged the circuit board. This was verified upon return to us. As a one-time courtesy, we did issue a full refund but would recommend...
repairing the damage in the wiring harness before installing another unit or the same problem will occur with a 3rd PCM. Please let me know if there is anything else that I can do to help.
I'm not quite sure how you can say that we have had no contact with you when you put the dates that we spoke on this complaint! We had problems getting this particular unit programmed for the customer and have shipped it out for free. At no point was a refund requested, we had no idea that you...
wanted to cancel. Please let me know if there's anything else that I can do to help.
I'm so sorry for the inconvenience, please call if there is anything I can do to help.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
This company is telling a 100% lie! The only reason I called them and purchased the unit from them was because they stated the meaning of "programmed plug and play" meant that it would circumvent the need to have a dealership work on the vehicle a cost of 600 dollars for the security system issues replacement of a pcm creates. In addition, their refund policy is embedded into a warranty that was not available as required by law before the sale (Federal Magnuson Moss Warranty Law of 1975) whereas the warranty if offered must be available for viewing by consumers before purchases if they offer one. In addition, this company violates Federal Warranty Law again in that they place an undue burden on the consumer of offering the WARRANTY I received after the purchase by requiring the consumer pay an unrealistic amount of money as a penalty for programming the were never allowed by law to perform - to obtain a refund (and 85 dollar charge). This fee for a service they did not perform is in addition to the re-stocking fee which makes returning the item (that does not solve the problem they stated it would) - ridiculous a win, win for them - because they will sell it again after returning a fraction of the cost I paid to me. If I were lucky I might receive back 40 dollars for a non functional unit they deceived me about (what it could do) that cost 187 approx. dollars. Allowing them to get away with this is WRONG!

Flagship One sent me 46 dollars back for a part that didnt work. They never offered a replacement. This company was a big disappointment and a waste of money since the part was supposed to have a lifetime warranty.

My first phone call was asking questions if they were able to program the computer or not. She told me she did nit know if it was going to work and to call back the next day because the technician had left and she would the have an answer for me. I called the next day and they told me that yes they were able to do it I was never told that it was going to effect my warranty or return if they would have told me that I would have never spent $449 without knowing they only time they told me my warranty would not cover was when my technician told me to call to make sure they program the computer from a 1998 to 2001 because it was not working As you can see in the emails I attached I did nothing but ask questions, and they told [redacted] work there is nothing in any email that stated it is not covered I would love for you to listen to the phone recording that can prove she told me that before I bought the computer That is false information and happened after I bought the computer and was having problems I also electronically signed a document activating earranyy

Good morning, Unfortunately the item was returned on Feb [redacted], more than 30 days from date of purchase. In this case, we can issue store credit for the remaining balance but would not be able to issue a refund. Please see the warranty on the item that you purchased...

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
I sent it back for repair and they stated nothing was wrong with it ;\. they stated that the problem was in my vehicle; this has a lifetime warranty. after numerous phone calls to no avail, I purchased another computer (from a reputable company) and installed it. It now runs perfectly with no issues what-so-ever. I would like to have a full refund of the purchase price plus the diagnostics fees from the dealership who double checked my diagnoses of this problem also found the computer to be the problem. I feel that this is only fair since they could not even diagnose the issue with their on part (which I had told them in the first place when I sent it back to them)Your Answer Here]it has a LIFETIME warranty according to the ad which they failed to honor.

Flagship one did not tell the complete truth. My computer in my 2001 durango will run the truck without shutting down at all and all it does with mine is my horn blows, lights flash and wipers come on without turning them on, I can drive the durango with my old computer in the truck but with Flagship One's computer they sent to me the security flashes on the dash and the truck shuts down completely, it does not do that with my old computer hooked up in the truck, I can still drive it with my old computer but I am sure I would get pulled over for my headlights flashing, horn blowing and wipers on. As far as them doing any research for me, that is far from the truth, I would accept any help they have to get my truck running properly. So with this being said that my computer I can drive the vehicle and their computer shuts it down completely I believe and my mechanic also believes this computer Flagship One sent to me (same computer sent to me twice, not different computers) is either programmed wrong or is not for my vehicle. I sent it back once and the case manager Kathryn said they will reprogram it and reprogram the immobilizer at no cost to me because the tech we spoke to said it sounded to him like the immobilizer was not programmed correctly. Flagship One also states they give me a refund, that is also not the truth, they offered me a refund but wanted to take out $85.00 for programming which they said they would not charge me and a 20% restocking fee so I told them no I want all my money back and that was the last time I spoke to anyone there. This computer has a problem when with my old one I can drive it anywhere and with theirs my truck is disabled and will not run. I feel like I have been scammed by this company. Out of $138.69 I paid them they want the computer back, plus $85.00 for programming (which isn't working anyway and was told I would not be charged for that), and a 20% restocking fee which leaves them giving me back $25.95 out of my $138.69, I just don't see how that is legal to take advantage of people like that. I am on disability, a fixed income and cannot afford to be ripped off like that, I need my money back to get my vehicle fixed. I think I deserve a 100% refund because their computer does not work in my truck as promised. Also I may add the first time I called them after it didn't work the first time Katheryn asked did I want a refund I said no I would like to send it back and try to fix the issue, which I sent it back and when I got it back a week later I don't see where they did anything to it because it was doing the same thing the second time as it did the first time.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
I ordered a part called a body control module for a 1996 Dodge caravan. On their website they guarantee their parts are 100%. I received my part and had it installed by a Dodge/Chrysler certified mechanic. He advised me that the part was bad. It had error messages and a loud clicking noise. So I sent it back for a exchange. Then I received a replacement. I was advised by my mechanic that the replacement was also bad and that it had multiple error messages. So I returned again, this time I was advise that they will not send me another part, they can send me the part I recently sent back, which is a defective product or credit to their store minus a stocking fee. I don't believe that's an option. I paid for a part guaranteed to work. At this point I don't want to deal with this company anmorey and I would like a full refund for the defective parts they sent me. I wish for a full refund for the part

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
The part was defective, so I should not have to pay a restocking fee for a part that is not working. Basically I was charged for something that didn't work and therefore I have to pay you to take back a bad part. I am still not satisfied, I should receive a full refund.

The order was not cancelled until the item was on the carrier truck for delivery which is why we charged fees that were in the listing before purchase. In addition, we spoke to you on May [redacted] and explained the fees to you- at that point we asked if you would prefer to have the unit back or to have the refund minus the fees (and you chose to have the refund minus the fees). Please let me know if there's anything else I can do to help.

It was Memorial weekend. I put the wrong date. This does not change the facts that the company somewhere down the line changed the vin # and took too long to process the order!

Customer requested refund after item had already shipped. The customer returned the unit within the allowed returns period and we waived the restocking fee and shipping fees out to the customer as a courtesy, but we did charge the $85 programming fee as stated in the warranty. Please let me know if...

The ignition coil assemblies fail on this vehicle constantly, both causing an engine skip (more often known as a misfire) and causing damage to the PCM itself. Please see Ford's Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) here [redacted] Until...
all 6 ignition coil assemblies and spark plugs are replaced with an updated part from Motorcraft, the vehicle will not run correctly. We have a 2005 Ford Escape here for the sole purpose of testing these units before and after shipment. If there is any hint of a misfire, we do not ship the unit until it is rebuilt and retested. After the customer said they were unable to get the vehicle to run correctly (which was the exact same issue as before because the ignition coils/spark plugs were not replaced according to the TSB), we got the unit back here and tested it- there was absolutely no misfire! I even went to the further step of trying the PCM programmed to both the customer's vehicle identification number and the VIN of the vehicle we keep here- neither had misfires. We issued a refund minus the programming and restocking fees and our shipping out to the customer. As a courtesy, we did not charge the customer for the pair of preprogrammed keys that were kept and not returned to us- usually a 90-100$ fee. All of these fees are documented in the warranty signed by the customer at the time of purchase which I can provide as proof. Please let me know if there's anything else that I can do to help.
