Unfortunately I am unable to issue a refund before the item is returned. I just emailed a return label to the email on this complaint. The return tracking number is: [redacted] via [redacted]. I will keep an eye out for the return. Once it is returned to us in original condition we can process the refund. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because yes a shipping label was sent to me but once I expressed I wanted a refund once again because it wasn't the correct computer, they cancelled my label and told me I had to pay for the return shipping myself, so I wanted for them to credit my original shipping charges (that took longer then promised in the first place) and sent it at that point. Once again no mention that the 30 days was approaching or that I only had 30 days to get a refund at all! Had I known the urgency of the time frame other steps would have been taken. Although it was shipped before the 30 days was up and signed for exactly 30 days from when the funds were taken from my account. I still can not get a refund? They say a replacement has been sent but I have yet to receive a confirmation a new one has been send or will be. Very poor business practices and customer service!!

I'm terribly sorry for the confusion. Jeep used a couple of different manufacturers for these units and every once in a while they won't fit on a vehicle Jeep says they should fit on. We have refunded in full. Please let me know if there's anything else that we can do to help.
But it was not returned for a refund until after 30 days (using the tracking number that you originally provided to us). It was shippped back out via [redacted]
We sent an updated part number that is fully compatible to the customer's needs- this was explained several times over the phone. We offered to help the locksmith (since some of them do not have the necessary equipment needed) but this was rejected. Customer returned the unit more than 30 days from...
date of purchase. Customer requested the unit be sent back to him (which it was, via [redacted] tracking number [redacted]). At that point, customer threatened to mail a bomb to our location, forcing us to report customer to local police department. We are currently waiting on a police report to be mailed or faxed to us from the Nassau County Police Department. I do not feel comfortable speaking to this customer any longer as he has made threats against employees here.

I purchased a ECM/PCM computer for my vehicle from FlagshipOne Inc. in good faith that it would work. I installed the PCM which didn't work in my vehicle, so I sent it back to FlagshipOne. If the PCM they sent me would have worked, it would still be in my vehicle. FlagshipOne makes you sign a return policy form online before they ship your product and when you return a product. Apparently, the only way you can do business with FlagshipOne is sign their return policy form. Why is FlagshipOne charging me a programming fee for the returned PCM, if it's working as they claim in other vehicles.

We have provided customer a prepaid return label (before this complaint was filed) and are awaiting the return. Customer stated over the phone that he wasn't sure if he wanted a replacement or refund. I will check back in after the return is delivered to us and the unit is tested according to the...
warranty.
Item was returned more than 30 days from purchase, in addition to customer not needing the part at all. Mechanic misdiagnosed the PCM/ECM as being the reason for the alternator not charging the battery. The unit that we sent to the customer did not fix the customer's issue because the ECM/PCM was...
not the cause of the issue in the car, we did test the EVR (electronic voltage regulator) inside the ECM/PCM before shipping and after the customer sent the unit back for testing and it functions exactly as designed. If it detects a low battery, it will send out a ground pulse to the alternator at about 100Hz, but this will turn off when the battery voltage approaches normal operating range. Inputs from a simulated battery temperature sensor also functioned exactly as designed. Customer failed to mention that the asked us to ship it back to them and it currently out for delivery via [redacted] priority mail (tracking no. [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
When I called to purchase the unit I was very specific that my son could not afford the cost of the dealership reprogramming the unit to work in his vehicle (estimated by a Jeep dealership to be 6 hundred or more dollars). They assured me they could program it to avoid the dealerships services. I did not misunderstand what they said, they are trying to cover up what they said they could do. Since the time of this purchase I have learned from close friends of ours who work in the automotive industry that companies like Flagship are not supposed to be selling units to avoid the dealership services for vehicle security systems. It is my understanding now that their is a Federal law prohibiting them from doing it. We know the immobilizer (SKIM) works perfectly in my son's vehicle and did when he installed the PCM purchased from Flagship (that failed to allow the vehicle to start) as he simply repaired some damaged solder in his old PCM when the one we purchased from Flagship did not work and the vehicle was able to start. Based on all of this and the facts surrounding their failure to provide a copy of the written warranty with shocking terms which would leave them with a unit to re-sell and me with a fraction of what I paid, it is not unreasonable for me to expect a full refund. I am willing to return this unit if they mail me a fully posted and paid for shipping label (with tracking) when the refund is completed. I would not trust them to refund me if they received the unit first.

that's just great -a lifetime warranty on a part that doesn't work properly and almost got us injured or worse. when I sent it back they "checked" it and found nothing wrong (how convienent !) I sent it out for a second opinion just to prove to them it was not my imagination . so if they won't own up to their mistake so be it. I know that I will never purchase from them or any other company like them, that I can assure you. but they need to reimburse me the purchase price and shipping for this part. it seems only right !

I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but we sent out a unit that was communicating (the unit needs to communicate with our programming equipment to program the units) but was returned to us in a state that would not allow the unit to communicate. The customer had the same issue with the original unit on...
the vehicle (ECM/PCM unable to communicate with scantools). There is an issue on the vehicle that is damaging the modules and this must be repaired before the customer replaces the PCM/ECM again. Because the item was returned to us in a damaged state, we declined a warranty replacement. Please let me know if there's anything else that I can do to help.

Flagship one in their website don't say anything about refurbished computer and they do say ( LIFETIME WARRANTY) on the computer that do mean if it have any issue to the merchandise (computer) to they wil fix or IAM not satisfied with the merchandise.it should be labeled quote in the 30-days no money back and in the quote FLAGSHIP ONE has in the comment that I wasn't charged an add 187.00 and it a lifetime warranty & not unlimited warranty.ok! But the thing is that I been leaving and calling MS. AMANDA.S[redacted] calls with no response and that back in NOVEMBER that she's out to lunch or she was off and it's some days after NOVEMBER in the second week. So I think the holiday was an issue or the last week and IAM going thru no response. Finally it's almost having the computer 30- days and it went out and my van wouldn't start and the mechanic said it's your computer and it's reading code-PO601 (internal control module error (53) internal controller failure and he said replace the computer or did I buy new. I said yes with a LIFETIME WARRANTY that good and IAM trying get in touch with SEAN K[redacted] and he doesn't take customers calls I was told by the operator and when thru the NEW YEAR 2016 and I finally talk to MS.S[redacted] and it was the run around and that she get back with me and it's a no show thru JANUARY 2016. I finally got thru with it and I shipped it back for my money and how I was dissatisfied with them. I like to have my money. No more comments.

We have a policy in place that we do not offer refunds on items returned more than 30 days from purchase or after we have replaced a computer. We both replaced this customer's part at our expense and issued a partial refund almost 2 months after purchase as a courtesy to the customer. Customer...
purchased unit on March [redacted] but did not request a refund on the replacement until May [redacted], 2017. Please see the warranty here: [redacted]. As stated is the info about the 30 day return policy and that we are unable to pay for return shipping fees.

I had asked for a refund around the third week of this so called 30 day period sent the item back.(I did not know at the time) But Two days before it was to run out she sent me an e-mail stating that they have corrected the problem and she was absolutely sure it would work! ....Which it did not!....Now giving me store credit is the same as ripping me off. its a specialized form of merchandise. Its not like its a target or Wal mart. I don't see what the big deal is I send it back you give me a refund nobody loses anything.

There would be no invoice sent to a customer before purchasing while the purchase is placed over the phone. As stated in the warranty that was signed and agreed to by customer, no refund will be issued if the tamper-proof stickers are broken or removed. In this case, they have been removed and no refund will be issued.
I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. There is a handling time after purchase but it was overnighted as soon as our testing and programming process was completed. We have sent over return information but as of yet have not received a return from the customer. Please let me know when the unit is...
shipped back so that I can keep an eye out for it.
Customer was sent multiple receipts with part number and we were not informed that they did not accept the part number (even though it was an updated calibration number according to Chrysler). We sent a return label for the customer to return on Sept **, 2016 via UPS [redacted]. Customer did...
not use that label and sent it to us after the 30 days from date of purchase. We replaced the unit and shipped it back via [redacted] express mail [redacted]
Customer returned the item in with significant internal damage consistent with a spark plug/ignition coil failure common in these 2005 3.0L V6 Ford escapes as detailed in Ford's Technical Service Bulletin 10-18-10 (link for TSB...
download: [redacted]). We have the unit sent to an independent 3rd party repair facility and will be getting documentation showing that the item was damaged (possibly beyond repair) by the customer. Please see attached photos of the customer's returned/damaged unit and a known good unit to see the differences between the two. We have offered another unit at a heavily discounted price as we do not believe the customer intentionally damaged the item but this was declined by the customer. Unfortunately for most owners of the 2005 Ford Escape 3.0L V6, this is an extremely common issue that causes a high value repair. Unfortunately, I believe that the mechanic who purchased the parts and performed the repair did not do the job correctly . If the unit that we sent was sent out damaged, the unit would never have functioned correctly as the chips that control the ignition coils/spark plugs are damaged and those cylinders would not fire at all- customer has maintained in every communication that it worked perfectly for 15-25 miles and did not immediately have problems. We are unable to issue a refund because the item will not be able to be resold to another customer due to the damage, and may not even be repairable at all. Since we know of these problems, we only take these units from running vehicles WITHOUT the problems that the customer has encountered- no misfires, P035x codes, and in addition, all 2005 3.0L escape computers are opened and fully tested before being sent to customers. Please let me know if there's anything else that I can do to help.
Again, we did have the unit in hand and was being tested. However, I do have it on a recorded phone call that the order was cancelled by the customer because they no longer needed it- not because of any issues on our end.
