Frank D[redacted] was the most helpful person we've had out. He was knowledgeable and made sure all our questions were answered before he left. We are extremely satisfied with Frank and Horizon. We will absolutely call them back into our home whenever we need their services.
Steve C. from Horizon completed maintenance for our heater scheduled for today. As promised, he arrived about 20 minutes after I received the call from the scheduler. He introduced himself with a firm handshake and proceeded to put on his booties and begin his work. He answered all my questions and provided a new filter for the unit (which I had not been able to find). Completed the maintenance and cleaned up after all the work was completed. Very friendly!
HVAC Technician Sean F. was an excellent representative of Horizon Services. He was very pleasant, courteous, and honest when describing the repair risks. Even though the piping repair appeared to be very challenging due to the age, rusting, and setup, he took the time to discuss it among his senior technicians to obtain a comfort level and execution plan that would succeed. He demonstrated his knowledge and skill by handling the daunting repair without any additional failure and need for remedy. His repair looked well done, without leaks, and completed within the timeframe expected. He kept me informed of his progress throughout and I appreciated the information and helpfulness he provided as he was bleeding the radiators and baseboard units. An excellent experience.
Last Saturday, I experienced a few mishaps with obtaining the correct technician for the initial assessment, but Plumbing tech. Anthony realized before arriving that I needed a HVAC tech. instead and did an excellent job in handling the change. He worked out the tech. change timely along with the scheduler, and kept me well informed to who was now assigned and when I should expect his arrival from DE. Josh M.,HVAC tech., was also excellent to work with and was honest enough to take himself off the repair, and requesting for a more senior tech., since he didn't understand the unique setup of my system. Even though he had challenges with the process to reschedule the work, he handled himself well, stayed until resolution, and took care that my scheduling needs were met.

Kevin E of Horizon Services was on time and professional in his approach and in the services rendered. Kevin fully and clearly explained what he was going to do to fix our problems. He provided me with a complete written estimate before commencing work and got the problems fixed on his first visit. He did a great job.
Had our old water heater start leaking, knew we needed replacement. Scheduling of initial appt and assessment was easy and Horizon's technician Ryan B came right as scheduled, very timely. I also received a call from Horizon notifying me when he was en route.
The replacement installation was performed and Ryan B was professional and courteous throughout (along with coworker- I don't have his name). Respectful of my house and took care to avoid any damage to the surroundings while moving heaters. He explained the installation, fees, maintenance, and general faq information. Would recommend to others!
Horizon Services and specifically technician Bill L. provided excellent service to repair and replace our kitchen faucet and leaking pipes. Bill arrived 45 min ahead of schedule, and promptly diagnosed our issues. We thought all or our drain pipes under the sink needed to be replaced, but Bill advised that the real issue was the sink drain and he quickly installed a much stronger and sturdier one than we had, which solved the leak issue. Our faucet spray hose connection had broken and Bill confirmed that we would need a new faucet, which he replaced with a new one we had purchased "just in case". Bill also went above and beyond by advising us about how to contact the broken faucet manufacturer to pursue compensation under their warranty, and how to clean the new faucet aerator to save money on future replacements. Bill was very friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and helpful. Truly a great experience.
Roscoe M. & Steve from Horizon Services installed two toilets for us on Nov. 10, 2015. They did an excellent job. They were very polite, answered all our questions and respected our home.
Pat came to our new home to service our old furnace. He was great walking me through how the system works and gave great advice on how to keep my home cooler in the summer! We appreciated all that he did for us!

We discussed his recommendations and he was informative. I would commend him as a representative of his company, and recommend Horizon to any who are concerned.
Scheduled a preventive heating unit tune-up. Technician arrived on time, was very
professional and did a great job. Very satisfied.

Charles M. was wonderful! He came out on a Friday night and arrived shortly after the dispatcher called. It was very knowledgeable and friendly. He quickly identified the problem and completed the job within no time. We would highly recommend Charles again!
Jose was extremely professional and arrived on time. Although horizon could not service my heater they gave me some suggestions and recommendation. I have a very old heater that many cannot repair.
I would return to horizon in the future.
Wow, watch out for the "strong arming sale tactic" of Horizon!
I had my main drain cleared last week and the technician offered to send a camera jockey to cam the line to determine if there may be a more serious issue going on. I agreed and the guy came later that day.
Upon arriving, he said "just so you know, your borough and two others in the area require I get permission from the Plumbing Inspector to even come here. And then, I have to share my findings if there is an issue AND the boroughs are requiring the homeowner to fix the problem!"
I never heard of such an ordinance but what bothered me was why they wouldn't tell the customer this first. He said you can't expect the technicians to know all the various ordinance rules. So I asked why he didn't call before calling the Plumbing Inspector just to tell the customer "Hey--are you aware of this ordinance, are you prepared to deal with the findings and do you still want me to come?" He debated with me that "you and I can't change the ordinance"...and that "I can't expect the technicians to know all the ordinances". I said I'm not debating that. I'm asking WHY you would blindside the customer with something like this?
We went in circles another few more minutes until I finally told him we were getting nowhere, he could leave and I'd take this up with a higher-up!
I then spoke with his Manager, explained the interaction and asked if he would appreciate being pushed into a corner like I was? He agreed, he too, would be upset. I told him Horizon seriously needs to rethink their process. I also told him I didn't appreciate Horizon tipping off the borough Plumbing Inspector of a possible issue and that if he had points to score with borough council he could pursue what problem there might be! I have no idea whether I have a belly, a break or anything else. I'm just not in the position of spending 5-10 thousand dollars!
I requested my $99 for the line clearing be refunded which he agreed to. He apologized and said he would be sharing this issue with upper management.
A few days later I spoke to the Plumbing Inspector (PI) and relayed the incident to him. He explained that yes, if a company finds a main drain problem that they are required to share with the borough. He said his position is to side with the homeowner to ensure they aren't replacing something that can't be fixed. However, it isn't required to get permission to come to the property. The PI also felt that this was a case of aggressive sales going on!
I've used Horizon the past ten years or so and will NEVER use them again! What if I were a 90 year old lady who didn't know any different and said "well--if the borough says I have to fix it--here's my credit card!"
Ugh....UNBELIEVABLE and UNACCEPTABLE!
