I came in with my family on 12/18/2015 and Robert D[redacted] was the rep that took care of us the location of the store; Woodfield Village Green, 1470 E Golf Rd, Schaumburg, IL 60173 said a start comment. As we was bringing out the 65' TV we purchase that day he said to me "Hunny this TV is almost as thick as you are hahahaha" to be that was something very disrespectful to say to one of your customers. Also, my mom is Latina and I know for a fact that she knows how to speech English she asked one of the guys that was in charged of the keys a simple question and he told her "Sorry I don't speak Spanish." when my mom clearly asked him in English. This is more then unacceptable for your customers to go through when all you guys do is make money form us.

We apologize for the inconvenience Ms. [redacted] may have experienced. Due to high demand on the LG and limited availability unfortunately we could not fulfill Ms. [redacted] order. For the inconvenience Ms. [redacted] was given the option to purchase a different television or get issued a refund. Ms. [redacted] agreed to the 49” proscan. We switched out the unit for the same price with no other out of pocket expense; therefore we would not be issuing Ms. [redacted] a $200.00 store credit.

The manager at the Fenton, MO store gave us an offer on a TV, a "friends & family" discount yesterday. We said we weren't ready to buy yesterday, but would that offer be good for a couple days & he said yes. We went back today & a different manager said no way & said he didn't even know who the manager was yesterday (which we found hard to believe because the sales guy said they only have 2 managers period). He refused to give us the discount, which was only $150 anyway & said that discounts change on Sundays & the discount may mean the difference between a profit or not, even if the actual base price of the TV did not change. We feel this is disingenuous. No one offered to call the other manager to ask about what we were told. Someone is lying to us.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that while the particular response is far from satisfactory, I would like to close this complaint as resolved.
As soon as I received notice through the Revdex.com that nothing more could be done, I contacted hh gregg's corporate Facebook page and within just a few hours, a very helpful woman named Tiesha responded and had gotten WarranTech to issue us a credit to replace our couch. As of today, we confirmed with our local store that we have a credit on file which covers the full purchase price of our damaged couch. I would like to thank Tiesha for helping us resolve our problem and I hope hh gregg utilizes more people like her to resolve customer problems in the future. Her customer service skills are outstanding!

As indicated on the back of our invoices, the return period is 30 days from the date of purchase.Most appliances come with a one-year parts and labor manufacturer’s warranty.
