I went in to the HH Gregg location located in Novblesville IN to shop for TVsI was met with a sales associate who showed me a few TVsI liked a Sony and the sales associate suggested that a floor model would be cheaperWhen I inquired about the price, the manager give me off the the brand new unopened box price with a year warranty on the floor model since it was a floor modelI thought that it was fair deal since the TV was $cheaper and with a year warrantyTold the sales associate and the manager that I need a day or two to think about itA day later I was searching on their website and noticed that the same TV had dropped a $in priceSo now I was thinking that the floor model will be cheaper by $since the brand new TV was the same price as a the floor model TV that they had offered me with a yr warrantyWhen I went back in and asked what the price would be now on the floor model since the price on the new TV had dropped a $They decided that they would not offer me a year warranty on the floor model after allThe manager didnt even have enough courtesy to come to me and apologize regarding not matching the same offer they had offered me a day before Is this how HH Gregg treats potential customer? Ive bough plenty of electronics from them but will refrain from shopping at any HH Gregg locations

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.At this time, while a voicemail was received, we have not been able to speak with Warrantech and do not wish to close the case until the issue has been fully resolvedWe did attempt to return the call to Warrantech at the number their representative provided only to find that it appeared to be another HH Gregg hotline and my girlfriend who is handling the phone calls ended up bouncing around the prompts before hanging upShe will try again later with the number provided here by HH GreggAt this point, we feel that our issues are going to be pushed around between HH Gregg and Warrantech with Warrantech applying temporary fixes and HH Gregg denying any responsibility until our service plan expires, at which point we will end up with a broken couch and no more warrantyWe were basically told that if we paid this large price for the service plan, ANYTHING would be taken care of...rips and tears from pets, broken components, etcSo far our experience has been that the obvious problem was temporarily fixed and the problem we pointed out ended up with the technician recommending we get someone who's good at sewing to take care of it, at our own cost of courseOn top of that, due to the location of the problems, we can't even verify the quality of the work performed because in order to view the areas serviced, you have to rip off the covering which is stapled about every inchAt this point, we simply want reimbursed the price of the couchWe even left off the cost of the service plan when we explained our desired settlementIf we must deal with Warrantech and continue getting bounced around until this is fixed, then we will do what we have to do, but we will also make sure to avoid HH Gregg for all future furniture purchases and we will be sure to inform everyone we know what a waste of money the extended service plans are Regards, [redacted]

I purchased a refrigerator from HH Gregg toward the end of I also purchased an extended service plan administered by HH Gregg I have had to have this Whirlpool refrigerator fixed times I am thankful that I had the service plan butthree weeks ago my refrigerator stopped cooling I called in a service request and was told that someone would contact me within 24-hours Two days later I called again because the phone number they gave me for the service company did not work They told me it would be 24-hours as they were going to have to find another company I live out in the country and when I called back two days later, they told me that they couldn't find anyone else that would come to my location They had contacted the service company and said that they were having phone problems but they would e-mail me and get a technician set up to come out Five days after my initial call a service person finally came out The freezer was freezing up so he told me to keep the door open for two days then plug it back in and see if it came up to temperatureIt did and worked for about a week, maybe less Then I had to call again to the extended service plan, HH Gregg, and restart the process all over again This time it took three days to get the service tech out and he told me he had to order parts, although the last time he was out he had put in an order for the parts incase but the service company did not order the parts and cleared out the service call Here it is a week later and I still have no refrigerator! What good is a service plan if you can't get prompt service If it was a different appliance it may not be an issue but a refrigerator it is an issue! At this point I would probably never by a Whirlpool appliance again and never shop at HH Gregg! If you purchase the service plan be prepared to be frustrated and have to keep after them to get your appliance fixed Clearly after times, three times for the frozen up ice make and two for the frozen up freezer (frost free appliance), this refrigerator is a LEMON and should be replaced! But in the very least, GET IT FIXED We have out-of-state company coming in a few days and WE HAVE NO REFRIGERATOR!!!!!

Confirmed delivery date of new kitchen when purchased weeks ago for FridayThey randomly changed delivery without notification to SaturdayThen by today, Monday, we call to learn that they DON'T hold appliances at warehouse, if not in stock on delivery day, I must just wait another week and try againNo email notificationsComplicated POS system at store caused sales associate to enter wrong delivery address and phone number (previous home from CC billing address, not new home)I proactively called the delivery number only to get attitude from the person answering the phone Now we have everything but a refrigerator and no offer to resolveWho does business like this?
