Your GM Financial account reflects that you have a simple interest loanThis means interest accrues daily on the unpaid principal balanceIn review of the account activity and payment history, more of your monthly payments were applied to accrued interest due to payments being made after the scheduled due date which resulted in the unpaid principal balance that remains today If all payments are paid by the due date, the account would have been paid in full on the contract maturity date
Please be advised, we have emailed a copy of your payment history that was generated on May 23, 2018, to your yahoo email address for your reviewAny payments posted to your account after this date will not be reflected in this payment history

Unfortunately, GM Financial is unable to provide an additional title as the original title was mailed to you on February 8, Please contact the New Jersey Department of Motor vehicles and provide the required documentation in order to request a duplicate title

I am rejecting this response because:This is obviously a generic, automatic & pat reply by GM Financial; without a person actually opening the complaint. The information you require is already listed in the Revdex.com complaint under the "complaint background" section. Additionally, the GM Financial addresses copied on this message have also spoken to me (and/or the dealership who purchased my car) directly; as well as received e-mails with all the documentation of proof required to resolve this matter. Please do you job, open up the complaint and read the complaint in full. Please respond to the "Desire/resolution/outcome" section ASAP. Stop wasting my time and making me work so hard for GM Financial's laziness, mistakes and poor processes.

I am rejecting this response because:I was never notified in writing that I had a past due balanceEach month, I am mailed a paper statement and on it the only thing showing due was a $feeI have copies of my monthly paper statements that reflect this is the only past due charge If I indeed owed a month past due, why was the $never added to my monthly statements? I was NEVER informed in writing, via mail or email, that there was a past due amount or accumulating late fees. Additionally, I NEVER received a phone call, nor did I speak to anyone on the phone regarding suchI do receive numerous calls with generic messages to call back numbers, but if an institution does not leave the name of the company they work for I am not returning calls because there are too many scams by phone. This being said, since I have never been previously notified by mail in WRITING of the past due or late fees, I am requesting you to waive the late chargesI will pay the past due monthly fee of $that is owed.

I am rejecting this response because: The point is that the policy of holding perfectly verified and good funds for days is unacceptable. Having me contact a huge company in order to get the front and back copy of a check that GM Finance received and deposited is a stalling tactic. GM already has the front and back of the check. I'll write my congressman as this is a ridiculous and unfair business practice. The funds have been verified and cleared, and this is a way for GM to earn interest on my money

I greatly appreciate your review into this matter and yes the research did conclude they did adhere to the policyHowever, my request for review was not to see if policy was followed, but to show how the word choice provided set an expectation that no issues should have prevented the deferment to become availableSince they are subject to management approval, I was asking if this can be done as a courtesy in the eyes of customer serviceThe contract nor the policy were ever in questionYour response was aimed towards the adherence to policy and not the wording of the conversation and how it could have led to false hopesThank you
