Globe Life Insurance has been a great affordable insurance company.

Had my billing issue resolved in short time.

I've been insured with Globe for several years. When I call, I am treated very well be anyone who answers. Very nice company and employees

I have been a customer for over 25 years now . The best rates, always great customer service. They will always work with you, within your budget and help with payments through tough times. Could not ask for a better company.

I cancelled my policy in august and was told I could receive my payment for august back if I provided them with my bank statement of payment for august and the policy information, which I did. the company then proceeded to ask me to provide the information over and over. my bank Bank of America also sent them a fax with the information they requested and still I am jumping through hoop for my refund.

I was charged two payments in Sept. for insurance premiums the 7th and 22nd which caused a over draft on my acct. with a 34.00 fee. I am disabled on a fix income. My check goes into my bank on the 3rd of each month and when it goes in on October3rd 74.00 dollars will be taken out of my check that I can't afford. I want Globe Ins. to reimburse me that money.I submitted the bank statements to the Acct.department and to Ms LK Saddler. My policy number is 00-9AXXXXX I have been back and forth on the phone with them for over a week to know avail. I wanted this taken care of before the 3rd. but I guess it won't be.

Desired Outcome

Other (requires explanation) To refund me my money before October3rd. I also had to cancel my premium for next month until this is taken care of because my premiums comes out of my check automatically each month.

Policy #009AXXXXX, insuring the life of ***, is a term life policy issued 09/21/16 in the amount of $10,000.00. The coverage became effective 11/21/16 - the date the first premium payment was received. This policy is currently in force and paid to 10/21/18.

The premiums for this policy have been paid via a recurring monthly bank draft since November 2016. The August premium ($36.74) was processed on 08/19/18. However, that payment was returned by the bank, unpaid, on 08/27/18 due to insufficient funds. Per procedure, the payment was held and re-presented to the bank on 09/05/18 at which time it cleared.

The September premium payment ($36.74) was processed on 08/19/18. That is the payment that cleared Ms. account on 09/22/18.

On 09/24/18, Ms. contacted Globe Life's Customer Service Department stating the Company drafted two payments in September 2017. Per procedure, Ms. was asked to provide a copy of her bank statement showing those payments. Policy notes indicate Ms. refused to provide such information. On 09/24/18, the policy was taken off bank draft and placed on direct billing, per Ms. request.

There would not have been two payments debited from Ms. account in September 2018 if the August payment had cleared when it was first drafted. If Ms. records indicate her payment did clear in August, please have her provide copies of the August and September bank statements and we will happy to review our records further.

They are lying any check that goes into my bank my bank pays it whether I have money in there or not they just charge me 34.00 plus the check. There is nthere was no transaction for the month of August for Globe that's why they took it on the 7th of September and again on the 27th of September because someone did not do their job and making me suffer for it.And the bank statement was emailed to them and to Ms Saddler. They think I am some kind of fool but they are highly mistaking.I don't appreciate beening made a fool of this will go further. If they had of tried a withdrawal it would show on my bank acct.and it does not

Attached is Globe Life's proof that the Company did indeed attempt to draft $36.74 from Ms. account on 08/19/18, as well as proof that the payment was returned by the bank on 08/27/18, and proof that the Company re-submitted the payment on 09/05/18.

Globe Life has no record of receiving any bank statements from Ms. or from her bank. If Ms. will provide the email address from which Ms. Saddler submitted the bank statements, we will be happy to search our records further.

I have contacted this company over a dozen times in regards to paying out death benefits on my brother who pasted 3 months ago,
my brother *** passed away on 6/16/2018 he had life insurance through Globe life for 10,000 dollars I contacted the company over a dozen times about the claim always being told they were waiting on health records report and death certificate . I have sent these documents via certified mail and the death certificate was faxed to them by the funeral home, they continue to say its under investigation and stated I didn't send all documents. every time I contact this company Im told they need more documents or didn't receive them . the last phone call I made was on 9/27/2018 because I received a paper from this company saying they suspended the claim due to missing documents they claimed they didn't receive the death certificate although there is proof it was sent and received by them. the women stated they can take as long as they wanted to investigate and pay claims there is no time limit on this, I stated that was ridiculous we payed for these benefits now they wont pay out. the representative was rude and even laughed when I said I was filling a claim against them.

I also paid 3 mo. or 6 mo. at a time. I was told at the time I cancelled the policies that since I live in the state of INDIANA my request for refund of over payment would be denied (because I live in the state of INDIANA ). I did get a letter of denial, global claims it is considered to be EARNED by global life. Which is BS, that is (stealing) not earned! you will have a fight on your hands. I will stop at nothing to get back what belongs to me, not you. Have this investigated again and come up with a refund and an acceptable answer.

I do accept their response, But I have never gotten anything in the mail from Globe. No letter or Check for the refund. When will it arrive?

Ihave paid ontime everymonth for 10plus years.Now that I amasking for surrender of these threepolicies (forthe last twoweeks) ,GlobeLife dismissive!
As long as I was paying on these three policies, Globe Life is Okay. I still have 3 other active policies that I am still paying on and they are current. I asked for a surrender of policy# ***), ***), and *** Plain and simple. I was quoted from their policy book the refund/surrender amounts of *** respectively. Globe Life owes me a check of $ 1264.00 effective immediately.

Please refund as per our conversation last week, the full amount of 1264.00 plus any interest that has accrued as of July 2018. This is my right as per their own email agreements with four different customer service representatives dating back to early July 2018. Thanks again.

I have reached out to Globe Life to close my policy and send me my check since June 2018 due to bad customer service/Agents misleading information.
Since 2006 I bought a $10,000 Life Insurance with Globe Life. I have been making my monthly payment since. This year I realized I was no longer receiving statements I reached out ot them and said what is going on ? Do you have my address? I was told that I need to make payments online. I said to them I do not own a computer, I am not computer literate and I will not be one just to make online payments. I believe in paper statements/hard copies. After many agents later multiples calls I was informed via email, which a neighbor helped me set up saying that they will send me paper statements and that is not a problem. Up until now, still no statements. I emailed them multiple times asking for it. Continued to call and during one of the phone conversations, and agent stated that I do not owe them anything until 2023. I said I want it in writing if that is the case and also an explanation as to why? It did not make sense. Still nothing in the mail. I emailed them multiple times requesting to end my policy and refund me what I have put in. I get the generic response email saying that we have received your request and it will be processed. Again nothing. All I want from them is my refund. They do not care for the customers and also their agents all tell a different story which shows they have no idea what is going on. I do not want to do business with them and just want my money.

All I want is for them to refund me what I have paid since 2006. I no longer want to do business with a misleading company.

In July 2018 I was given contradicting procedures and value of my grandson's insurance policy after surrendering my daughters' policy in June 2018.
Early June, 2018 my daughters contacted Globe Life & Accidental Insurance Company to surrender their policies for the cash value. They were told that the request would have to come from me because "I" am the owner of both policies. So, on June 14, 2018 I submitted a letter to Globe Life & Accidental Insurance Company formally requesting the surrender of each of their policies.

June 25, 2018 I received a check in the amount $3,714.00 for policy #05111386 (Value of $27,000) for my daughter *** White and a check in the amount of $6,149.49 for policy #05111387 (Value of $45,000) for my daughter Cherise Hoskins Holmes. The check amounts were the net cash value to surrender each of the above referenced policies.

After the surrender of my daughters' policies were finalized, I decided to do the same and surrender the policy for grandson, Andre Ward, as well. The value of his policy is valued at $57,500.00 as of July 17, 2018. On July 26, 2018 I received a letter stating two very confusing and conflicting notifications regarding his policy.

First, I was told that my grandson was the owner of the policy, which completely contradicts what my daughters were told when they tried to surrender their policies. Secondly, I was informed that he would have to request the surrender of the policy, which is another contraction of what occurred with my daughters. Lastly, they informed me that the cash value of his policy was only $2,858.63. This too is a contradiction, because my daughter ***'s policy's net value wasn't even half the net value of my grandson, but had a surrender value of $3,714.00.

Desired Outcome

1. The procedure that was followed to surrender my daughters' policy is also used for my grandson's policy surrender. - I submit the request in writing 2. The amount of the surrender value reflects the percentage applied to my daughters policies' and not arbitrary value.

I filed a insurance claim because my brother was killed in DOLTON IL on 1/15/2018 and I called and filed a claim because I was the beneficiary of his policy. So once the death certificate and coroner report was available in July because it took awhile for them to come back I submitted everything they asked for on July XX XXXX and now it's been 60 days and they still won't tell me nothing.

Policy #009HXXXXX, insuring the life of Rommell ***, is a term life policy issued effective 03/10/17 in the amount of $10,000.00. *** is the beneficiary of this policy.

Rommell *** passed *** 01/14/18 - 10 months after the policy was issued - due to complications of gunshot wounds to the left thigh. Mr. death occurred during the two-year contestability period of the policy. As such, the Company has conducted its usual and routine investigation concerning Mr. past health history.

Although Mr. death occurred on 01/14/18, the claim wasn't received until 06/29/18. Medical records were requested on 07/12/18. On that same date, a letter requesting additional information was also sent to the Dalton Police Department.

Records from MetroSouth Medical Center were received 08/13/18. A response from the Dalton Police Department was received 08/27/18.

All requested information has been received and our evaluation of this contestable claim is now complete. I am pleased to inform you that the claim has been paid. A check (#XXXXXX) in the amount of $10,642.40 was issued to *** on 09/07/18. The amount paid represents the $10,000.00 death benefit, plus $648.89 interest, less the $6.49 premium due on the date of death.

A copy of the check *** be provided for your records immediately upon receipt. If you should have any questions in the meantime, please contact me directly.

In his complaint, Mr. questions how we got his private home address. Globe Life sends out insurance offers through the mail that contain a lead card that the consumer sends back to us if they are interested in our insurance. Globe Life also puts out inserts in grocery/coupon circulars, newspapers, magazines and other types of media. These inserts can be sent in to request insurance information from us and there are times when addresses are obtained from other multiple sources. If Mr. or someone using his address did not send us a lead card requesting insurance information or call us requesting insurance information, we really don't have any way of determining where we got his address. Addresses are readily available on the Internet and are not private information.

Distribution of insurance payments. I have been paying 3 months at the time for my youngest grandson $25.40 Life Insurance. Last payment was in July. This payment went through as per my bank notification. Globe Life insure has only apply 1 payment (1 month) to this policy #008WXXXXX. I called asking for a solution to this matter, Why the fund is not applied to the right policy . They have ignored my request . It is not the first time that Globe Life has miss apply this fund, the policy number is written in the check . Questions I asked has gone unanswered as per a supervisor Accounting is the one making th distribution of fund. Therefore Nobody has fixed the problem. My payment has not gone to the right policy. According to the complaint, *** sent a payment in the amount of $25.40 in July 2018, which she intended to pay her grandson's policy #008WXXXXX for three months.

Globe Life did receive a payment of $25.40 via bill pay on July 6, 2018. However, since the amount received did not equal the quarterly premium amount billed for policy #008WXXXXX - $25.80 - our automation system looked at other policies being billed to the same address and applied the payment as follows:

$8.64 (1mo) to #008WXXXXX for Castiel S. Fajardo
$8.38 (1mo) to #004DXXXXX for Tyler H. ***
$8.38 (1mo) to #004DXXXXX for Samantha T. ***

Our Premium Accounting Department is in the process of reversing the payments applied to policies #004DXXXXX and #004DXXXXX and will apply those premiums to policy #008WXXXXX. This action will pay policy #008WXXXXX to 10/11/18, as Ms. originally intended. After the accounting is complete, the other two policies will be paid to 09/05/18.

If Ms. wants to continue paying her premiums through a bill pay system, she should be certain to pay the exact amount billed to ensure this doesn't occur again in the future.

Company continues to send mail when they have been notified by phone to stop sending me advertisements regarding life insurance.
A call was made to Globe Life over 30 days ago complaining that they continue to send mail. Requested that they stop! Lady said it would continue for 30 days due to their setup with the advertising contractor. I received life insurance mail from them on 7/21, 7/27, 8/8 and 8/20.
Please STOP the mail immediately or a complaint will be filed for harassment.

Stop all mail advertisement of all and any of their insurance products!

Globe Life's response is just a smoke-screen. If the truth were told, a simple phone call and the entering of a key stroke would pull my name from the list immediately. Let's turn this around and see what Globe Life Ins. would say if I was making payments but told them that I could not pay them for 60 to 90 days. Do you think they would continue to insure me...and even pay a death claim? NOT !!!! Globe Life needs to clean up their business practices. Until they stop sending me mail, I *** continue to tell others of their poor business practices and discourage anyone from purchasing insurance from them.

The technology is available to have my name removed immediately, which noted previously. Very poor customer service on the part of Globe Life and they will never get a positive rating from me nor will I endorse their company to others.

8/3/18 I called Globe Life Ins and requested for my Term Life Insurance be converted to Whole Life Insurance. As of 8/16/18 I have not received it.
On August 2, 2018 I called Globe Life Ins., spoke with a Customer Service person
(I failed to get the person's name) and requested for my Term Life Insurance to be converted to Whole Life Insurance and requested a reduction in coverage. I was told I would be sent a 'change of coverage' form (not sure if that's the correct name for the form) in 10 days or perhaps sooner.

On August 13, 2018 I called Globe Life Ins., and spoke to Ezzie the Customer Service person. I explained my request, what I was told and ask her what was the status. Ezzie said she saw the notes, give it a couple more days and I should receive it, I said okay.

On August 15, 2018 I called Globe Life Ins., and spoke to Lequinca the Customer Service person. Again I explained my request, what I was told by Ezzie and ask her what was the status. Lequinca looked at the notes and said she saw NO notes from Ezzie and the form had actually NOT BEEN SENT TO ME. At this point I am upset for two reasons: 1. I was told I was being sent the form and 2. God forbid something happen to the insured I need to know they are covered. I am a licensed Funeral Director and I know the importance of life insurance. Lequinca understood my concern and anger and went to her Supervisor CLEO - Cleo tells her-Lequinca to do the conversion and she-Cleo *** take it to the Blackboard Room and the form would be emailed to me and I could fax it back and was given the fax number.

On August 16, 2018 after waiting for the email that NEVER came I called Globe Life Ins., and asked the first person that answered from Customer Service for a Supervisor, because at this point I need actually speak to the Supervisor. I was transferred to *** the Resolution Specialist and again I explained my request, what I was told by Ezzie, Lequinca and Cleo the Supervisor and told him this needs to be resolved. He assured me it would be and that I would get an email, which I confirmed my email address (I also confirmed it with Lequinca) and still I have NOT received an email or even a mailed form.

This is beyond ridiculous and I would like to lodge a complaint and get this situation/issue resolved immediately.

Send the form out, convert the insurance from term to whole life.

Ms. contacted me via email on 08/30/18 stating she hadn't received the conversion application. Even though I had provided a copy with my email the day before, I sent Ms. another conversion application on 08/30/18 via email.

Ms. returned the completed conversion application to me via email on 09/01/18, along with several questions regarding conversion. The application was forwarded to the department that handles policy conversions and I responded to Ms. additional questions via email on 09/04/18.

The conversion process has been completed and Ms. was notified of such completion via email today. I also informed Ms. that I *** send her the new policy as soon as it is received.

Yes I have emailed them over and over they don't respond in any way. They won't sending me spam messages I remove myself everyday.

This is in response to your correspondence dated August 15, 2018, regarding the above referenced complaint.

In his complaint, Mr. *** states that he is receiving spam messages on his email and he has emailed us every day to stop.

We have advised our Marketing Department that Mr. ***'s email address of ***@gmail.com is to be added to the unsubscribe list. This is a connected unsubscribe system and any 3rd party affiliates that send out emails for Globe Life will also receive this information. Now that Mr. email address has been added to our unsubscribe list, it will take 7-10 days (often sooner) for this to take effect on any authentic Globe Life emails, which is within the SPAM requirements.

Mr. also states that he has removed himself every day, but the spam messages won't stop. We have also notified our Marketing Department of this problem, as this may indicate that the email is not an authentic Globe Life email and is a copycat email designed by hackers to phish for information. In order for us to be able to take any action on this type of unauthorized email, we need Mr. to forward to us an email he received from Globe Life that has no unsubscribe link or the link does not work, so that we can try to track down the source. We will take immediate action on this, but we can only do so if we get the actual email in question. We would really appreciate it if Mr. would forward any such Globe Life email he has received with a non-working or missing unsubscribe link to my email address of ***@torchmarkcorp.com. We absolutely appreciate it when consumers notify us of email problems like this, so we can stop the email abuse. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience these emails have caused.

I had Globe Life on my children until they were grown and married. I worked for UPS 30 years and life insurance was part of my benefits. About 2 years before I retired I started a whole life plan with Globe Life because I already had my lots and vaults paid, I wanted to make sure there was money to pay the funeral expenses. My plans have changed since then and I don't need the policy anymore but Globe Life has been a very good company to have life insurance with all of these years. I would recommend them to anyone for their life insurance needs.

Whenever I call with any issue the representatives are always friendly and helpful.
