Great customer service
This company is a JOKE! I have never left a bad review for anyone because everyone has bad days but this company has left me no choice!
To start with, someone started this policy for me in 1995 and at the beginning of 2018 I called to check the cash value of the policy. It was a whole $7.00!! So, I called to cancel my policy in July of 2018 and after speaking with someone to do so, August's payment was still withdrawn from my account. I called to explain the situation and request a refund since I had already cancelled. In order to complete the process to surrender the policy, you have to send a written request with your signature on the bottom. The first person did not tell me this but, I sent the letter. A month goes by and I haven't heard anything so I call again. They then tell me that they have to send me a letter and to sign the bottom and return. A little frustrated, I did that as well. More time passes and still NOTHING. So, I call AGAIN. I get the same run around and was told that I would get a full refund after they were able to "process" it. To make a very long story a little shorter, after MANY phone and letter correspondence, I finally get a refund check in October 2018. IT WAS MADE OUT TO THE WRONG PERSON. I called to get that issue resolved and was told that they will have it corrected and I would have a check in my mailbox on October 24, 2018. Today is the 31st and NOTHING. I called them demanding an answer but, again, no. This time I was told that I will only be getting a partial refund and that he will get back to me Friday.
Up until today, I've been 100% cooperative and did everything that they have requested. Luckily, I've kept every letter that I've sent and made documentation of every phone call. My next step is to contact an attorney.
We are very sorry that *** has encountered an unpleasant experience with Globe Life. Globe takes matters such as this very seriously and we will investigate the problem and respond in writing to the complainant with the next ten business days.
So far so good customer care is professional and courteous also informative and friendly.
On XX-XX-XXXX I called to cancel the life insurance policy on my son as my husband has a policy on him as well. I was told it would take 10 to 20 days
I called again on XX-XX-XX as I wondered why they mentioned keeping $1000.0 of the payout. I was told it was because I had taken out a loan on the policy. Never once was "loan" mentioned by Globe Life or myself. I told them in plain English that I want to CANCEL the policy & I wanted a payout. The next day I called again & it was still in the process of reversing a loan that I never agreed too! Finally I talked to a lady on XX-XX-XXXX who said she would have it done in 24 to 48 hours. I called again the next day & was told she would call me on XX-XX-XX which she did and I was told that it would take at least 2 to 3 weeks before I would get the payout. I am disabled and on a fixed income. I really need this payout as I have had some recent problems that need to be addressed. I get put on hold for a really long time, talk to numerous people who all give me a different story and then transfer me to a different person and no one has been forthcoming or able to give me the answers to the questions I am asking. One person even told me that all of this has been attempts to keep from paying out my insurance payments.
I want the loan reversed and a payout done ASAP and I want the money paid out to me. I even asked that it be sent out as one day mail or overnight mail using some of the money from my pay out but this was also denied

I am pleased that my complaint was finally addressed and that I received the payout I was entitled to receive. I maintain that I maid multiple calls and talked to multiple people. Each person gave a somewhat different answer than the people I had spoken with in previous calls. I did accept a smaller policy for $10,000.00 but called back on XX-XX-XX to cancel it as my husband also had a life insurance policy on my son and we did not feel both policies would be necessary in the event of my sons passing. In the event of his death we were not out to make money but simply to give him a nice burial which my husband's life insurance policy would do. I feel that in a case like this one person should be assigned to handle it to limit any mistakes and miscommunications. Thanks to Globe Life, the Texas Revdex.com and the NC Dept. of Insurance in helping to resolve this matter.

I recently reduced the coverage amounts for all four grandchildren from $15,000 to $10,000. The purpose was to lower my premiums, as I live on a fixed income. For a new policy that I requested, I was quoted one price, then billed for $10 more due to an added accident coverage, which I did/do not want.I have called and e-mailed with no response to my request to drop the accidental coverage.

Very good with all my needs
I'm really glad I chose Globe Life for my new grandson, I feel confident that he will be covered and in good hands when I am no longer here.

This company has done a terrific job of communicating with me from the beginning. They are courteous, friendly, & I never feel rushed. I had an issue where I needed to change bank accounts but forgot. The payment was declined so they mailed me a bill which reminded me to make the payment. I made the payment first, it's important to me. Afterward I contacted customer service to change banks & a gentleman told me I'd have to wait the 3 days until my payment posted. I forgot again, Busy life! Globe sent me a bill again , I called and set up the new bank & then paid. I do believe they even forgave a month of payments I have to check but I do know the bill they sent said they were forgiving a month of premiums. The CSR then was able to answer all my questions about additional coverage. She gave me prices and explained how conversion works w/ your birthday & getting older. I have a birthday not too far off so I plan to convert while it is still offered at a lower rate. I am very satisfied & would recommend Globe. I was an insurance agent for 16 years, I think I know something about it!

I signed up with Globe Life and Accident Insurance a number of years ago to cover any expenses in case of my sudden and untimely demise. Last week I intended to cancel my policy but after reconsidering I decided to keep it. One can't beat the price and coverage.
We have been with Globe Life for 4 years. Haven't had to file a claim yet, but all contact has been very professional and courteous.
