Re: *** ***
Case No***
Dear *** ***:
This is in response to your correspondence received in our Washington, D.CExecutive Offices. It was referred to the Dallas, TX Regional Office for a reply
*** ***’s original quote amount reflected the occurrences she reported online at www.GEICO.com. The quoted premium amount is dependent on the accuracy of the occurrences reported
*** *** contacted the Sales Department by telephone to complete the sale. Once *** *** accepted the quote, the Sales Counselor obtained *** ***’s credit card number but did not place a charge on the card. The Sales counselor then ran the appropriate insurance related reports and revised *** ***’s quote with the updated activity. *** *** was given the revised quote amount, of which she declined. A policy was not issued nor was *** ***’s credit card charged by GEICO
The original quote amount would have been correct had the original quote contained the complete and correct occurrences.
We trust this information will allow you to close your file. If you need additional information please contact Patti K*** by telephone at ###-###-#### from 8:am to 4:pm CST or by email at ***

July 21, 2014Dear *** ***:We have received your letter requesting assistance on behalf of *** *** ***, I welcome the opportunity to respond to his concernsThe concerns raised by *** *** are related to the recent cancellation notices he received for his policyAs
he explains in his letter, *** *** used his bank’s online p**ment system to make his monthly premium installmentsFunds associated with p**ments of this nature can take several d**s to post in our billing systemUnfortunately, this contributed to *** *** receiving cancellation notices on his policy whenever the due date of a current p**ment passed and his Bill P**er p**ment had not yet credited to his policy.Cancellation notices were generated and sent to *** *** when p**ments were not received by the specified due dateThis notification is required by the GEICO policy contract and state regulations prior to cancelling the policy for non-p**ment of premiumsIt is important to note that while *** *** believed these notices were advising his policy had already cancelled, each notice allowed him the opportunity to remit p**ment before the date indicated within the cancellation noticeOur records indicate that we outlined this process and the reason for our notices when he contacted us with similar concerns in M** of We sincerely regret our explanations were insufficient and did not address his concerns completelyOn M** 28, 2014, we mailed a bill to *** *** in the amount of $and the following d** received a Bill P**er p**ment from *** *** for $This was the last p**ment submitted by *** *** towards the policy balanceAn updated bill was then mailed to him on June 15, in the amount of $due on June 30, Since no p**ment was received towards this bill, we then were required to mail a cancellation notice to *** *** on July 1, 2014.As *** *** explains, he emailed us on June 24, to request cancellation of his policyWe explained that in order verify the person requesting cancellation is our insured; we would contact him via telephoneRegrettably, we were unable to reach him and he contacted your officeWe also attempted to contact *** *** again regarding these issues on July 15, after receiving the documentation of p**ments he described in his letter to the BureauUnfortunately, we wereunable to reach him againUpon review of his letter, the documentation he provided, and his email to us, we have cancelled his policy as of June 24, 2014, per his requestA refund of $will be sent to him within to business d**sAgain, we sincerely apologize for the confusion caused by our notices and wish to assure *** *** his policy remained active without a lapse from March 29, through June 23, For your review, we have enclosed a statement of account for his policyI hope this information is helpful in resolving *** *** concernsIf you have any additional questions, please contact my associate, Jason R**, at ###-###-####, extension ***.Maria S*** Assistant Vice President

May 29, Dear *** ***:This will acknowledge receipt of your request regarding the above named insured’s private passenger automobile policyI have carefully reviewed the matter and my findings are as follows:In *** ***’s correspondence to your organization she expresses
concern that GEICO’s sales division has made several attempts to contact her after she completed a GEICO application.GEICO’s records show that *** *** did complete a GEICO applicationIt is GEICO’s practice to contact an interested applicant up to six times over a period of seven to ten days after requesting a quoteGEICO cannot determine the exact number of times that *** ***’s number was solicited by our sales division as no calls were made by an automated outbound dialer, but I can assure you that it is not GEICO’s practice to make three phone calls per daySince it has been over ten days since the policy application was completed, the calls should have ceasedI have made the office handling the calls aware of this situation and have been assured that no more calls will be made to *** *** regarding her application. If you have any questions, or if GEICO can be of any further service in this matter, please contact me at *** ***.Very truly yours,

May 6, Dear *** ***:Thank you for your April 27, inquiryThe loss in question was reported to us on February 21, at approximately 12:pm at which time we were advised by *** *** a phantom vehicle tried to merge into his lane causing him to leave his lane
of travel and strike a concrete wallAt the time the loss was reported there was no mention of contact being made between *** ***s vehicle and the phantom vehicleThis loss was reported to have occurred on February 21, at approximately 10:am.After the report was taken, *** *** was advised of the coverage under his policy which included a discussion about his Uninsured Motorist Property Damage coverageThis was a new policy bound only seven days prior to this loss; therefore, he was advised we needed a copy of the police report to verify the date of lossOn February, 22, *** *** contacted us again to get a rental vehicleWe advised *** *** we still needed the police report to verify when the loss occurred as well as to assist with determining if the Uninsured Motorist coverage would apply to his lossAt that time he advised he was not sure if the phantom vehicle actually touched his vehicleThe Tennessee uninsured motorist guidelines were explained to *** ***, and in order to file under the Uninsured Motorist coverage, contact between the vehicles had to be verifiedAn appointment was established so our auto damage adjuster could review the damage and confirm if there was evidence the other vehicle struck *** ***s automobile. After the inspection, our auto damage adjuster noted the right front wheel on *** ***s vehicle had some damage on it, but he could not determine if it was caused by the phantom driver in this lossOn March 28, one of our field investigators met with *** *** to review the facts of the accidentA recorded statement was secured to clarify the loss detailsIn the recorded statement *** *** advised he did not think the phantom vehicle made contact with himWhen he saw the damage on the tire and rim he just assumed there was contactThe police report makes no mention the phantom vehicle actually struck *** ***.Based on our investigation, there was no evidence to support the phantom vehicle involved in this loss actually made contact with *** ***s vehicleFor this reason, Uninsured Motorist coverage does not apply and we were unable to handle the damage sustained to *** ***s vehicle. If you have any additional questions please feel free to contact, *** ***, Claims Manager, at ###-###-####, extension ***.Sincerely,

Complaint: ***Dear Michael ** S***
I am rejecting this response because: Just as you say in your response, "It is GEICO’s expectation to advise the consumer that the premium quote can only be approximate and may be subject to increase/decrease depending upon the VIN and date added"Unfortunately in this case the Geico representative did not inform me of the above, in the contrary, I was told that the quote was the price I would be paying! I asked a few times to make sure that I understand it clearly, and I was assured that this would be the final price(I asked a few times, because I wanted to make sure that it was financially worfor us to buy the ***If the Geico representative would tell me the honest truth, that it's only a quote, and that they need the VIN etcI would find the VIN and I would not buy the car!)
I hope you can find the recording of this conversation, it would 100% back everything i'm sayingUnfortunately I was wronged by Geico, and it's only right that Geico take full responsibilityI hope my response was clear, and that you respect it

*** *** ***Thank you for your letter of March 19, from Geico’s representative Dan B*** (Assistant Vice-President).On Wednesday, April 08, I attended an Examination under Oath per Government Employees Insurance Company’s (Geico’s) requestThe Examination under Oath was conducted by Attorney *** *** of the Law Offices of *** *** *** ***I attended the Examination under Oath with the presence my Attorney *** *** in his office located at *** *** *** ** *** ** ***I reluctantly participated in the Examination under Oath in order to make sure that I was in compliance and adhered to the terms and conditions of my automobile insurance policy. However, I am convinced that the Examination under Oath was unnecessary after meeting face to face with MsBeverly P*** (Geico Special Investigator) sometime in January In fact, MsP*** insured me that she had all of the necessary medical and prescription bills, urinary analysis & MRI report fees, medical mileage, diagnostic reports fees, lost wages and essential services fees in order to make a final payment decision on my automobile claimAccording to MsP*** she spoke with MsSheria D*** (Claims Adjuster) sometime in February and suggested that she pay all bills under the provisions of my Personal Injury Protection (PIP) coverage claim effected immediately.Even though I attended the Examination under Oath under the direction of *** *** I had expressed my reluctance about participating due to my past very demeaning and unpleasant experience with MrKassabian’s law partner Chris DoyleTherefore, I have lodged complaints with several entities documenting my past experiences about Geico’s discriminatory and deceptive trade practices while investigating and paying out automobile claims to African American policyholdersThe Texas Department of Insurance, Texas Attorney General, Disability of Insurance Securities & Banking, and Federal Trade Commission along with your organization are currently investigating these claims in hopes of reaching an amicable resolution that I can live with along with along with other African American policy holders who have been subjective to such unfair scrutiny and demoralizing experiences. In a letter from *** *** dated March 10, he stated that Geico was reviewing my expenses to see whether or not they were compensable under the terms of my auto policyHe also mentioned in that same letter that were suspicions about whether or not the expenses were the direct result of the auto accident in questionIt is my prayer that all of Geico’s suspicions regarding my March 02, accident are answered and finally cleared up after the Examination under Oath.In closing, Government Employees Insurance Company should be forced to pay benefits under the coverage when due according to my policy provisionsAccording to my state of Texas policy contract if benefits aren’t paid timely then I am entitled to recover attorney’s fees, a penalty of percent, and interest at the legal rate from the date those amounts became overdue.Thank you in advance for assisting me with this urgent matter as I look forward to receiving an amicable resolution to this pressing matter from your office shortly. Respectfully submitted,*** ** ***

April 8,Dear ***:Thank you for your March 27, follinquiry.*** reported the engine of his truck flooded because he drove through a large puddle twice while on a hunting tripSeveral concerns were raised upon inspection of the vehicle; most noticeable was water was identified in the air intake and passenger compartmentsGiven the height of the truck, the water would have to have been close to waist height to enter the vehicleThere had been no significant rain to generate a puddle deep enough for the loss to have occurred as claimedAs a result, further investigation was warranted. When our investigator, ***, met with *** at the dealership, *** *** was not present during the conversation*** refused to provide a recorded statement but agreed to discuss the facts*** stated we were concerned that for the engine to have been damaged, the truck must have been intentionally driven through a deep water hole*** stated he did intend to drive the truck through a deep mud/water hole while hunting but attempted to stay near the shallower edges; however, the water was deeper than he expected and the truck slid deeperWe advised *** further investigation would be needed to determine if the loss would be covered*** then stated he did not wish to participate in any further investigation and wanted to withdraw his claim.Following ***’s withdrawal, our Auto Damage Director, *** ***, spoke with ***He apologized for her dissatisfaction with the investigation and explained why the situation is not considered an accidental loss*** also spoke with me, *** ***I apologized if she felt the investigation was aggressiveShe expressed that she wanted to make sure we knew her feelings and we would have the right conversations with the associates involved. If further information is needed, please contact *** ***, Special Investigation Manager, at ###-###-####.Sincerely,

Where to start,
It is wrong to ask questions Mille times about raising coverage bc they will assume you are doing something against your policy limitsI was inquiring insurance about transporting goods and "trying to get my ducks in a row" and the decided I was already doing such business and cancelled my policy with no attempt for re evaluationTwo days prior to getting notified about policy cancellation I wrecked my Dodge Ram, had it towed to dodge house near my hometown and gieco advised an adjuster would contact me to set up a meeting to work over the truck for a claim to repair issuesThere was no apparent body damage but squealed when turn wheel, missing like starving for fuel and fluid leakThat all being said the adjuster "Mike P*** stated I called and left no message and was in area so decided to go to dodge house for the claim processHis pictures he submitted were not only blurry but dark and couldn't seeHe was just in a hurryAnd he only came up with bumper replacementI questioned him regarding his decision and politely asked to have it re evaluated while I was present bc I have had truck years and know my truckMike P*** *tated "I've done it once and WILL NOT do it again"He stated "myself and mechanic test drove truck and went over it completely"I contacted dodge house and spoke with service rep I have been dealing with and she stated no one test drove truck other than driving in shop and only a lead tech (not mechanic) was presentThe adjuster "Mike P*** took pictures then leftI have since contacted Gieco yet again and waiting call from supervisor for hopefully resolutionYou pay insurance to be taken care of in time of accident and instead I'm doing all leg work and missing days from workWill update more info on how this ended"Mike P***" from Katy, TXneeds additional training on customer service as in people skills and needs training on time efficiency instead of rushing a claim

Dear Ms***:
Thank you for your recent inquiry
On January 6, 2016, *** *** reported that he discovered damage to the passenger side of his *** consisting of white paint transferHe stated that the damage occurred as a result of a hit and run collision while the
vehicle was parked and unoccupied
We had an automotive/mechanical engineer inspect the vehicleHe determined that the damage occurred while the vehicle was in motionHe also determined that there was non-automotive white latex paint transfer on the vehicleBecause Mr*** misrepresented how the damage to the vehicle occurred, we denied coverage for the claim
Mr*** is now stating that the sample taken by the automotive/mechanical engineer was from prior damageAt this time, we are in the process of scheduling Mr***’s Examination Under Oath

July 3, Dear ***:Thank you for your follow up letter of June 28, 2014, regarding *** ***’s claim. Our investigation revealed that *** ***’s vehicle was in fact repossessed and not stolen as originally reportedBased on the evidence received, *** loaned her
vehicle to her son and while in his possession, the vehicle was repossessed by her lienholder, *** *** Auto FinanceIt is our understanding that ***s has not secured possession of the *** *** from the lienholder since the repossession date.A rental vehicle was not provided to *** nor was reimbursement for her personal items that were in the vehicle at the time of repossession, as repossession is not considered a covered loss under the policy.Since the vehicle has been repossessed, *** no longer has an insurable interest in the vehicle. The claim for damages that occurred prior to the repossession would now be filed by *** *** Auto FinanceWe have sent a GEICO Field Liability adjuster out to discuss this claim with the lienholder and they have chosen not to pursue the claim for damages at this time.In the future, if *** secures possession of the *** ***, VIN ***, from the lienholder she may then contact us and further discuss the repair of her vehicle per the estimate on claim file ***, as well as a rental vehicle for a reasonable amount of downtime during the repair of this vehicle. We have enclosed a copy of the repair estimate, police report and the lienholder documentation for your review. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact *** ***, South Florida Branch Manager, at ###-###-####, extension ***.Very truly yours,

May 15, 2014Dear *** ***:Thank you for your May 9, follinquiry. This letter is being sent in response to a rebuttal received from your company for our insured, *** ***, regarding the handling of his claim.***s rebuttal alleges the police report confirms that a black *** hit his vehicleThe report actually reads, "The police arrived on scene and spoke to the driver of vehicle *** ***, he advised that a black *** had changed lanes suddenly cutting him off, forcing him to swerve quickly to the left to avoid from being hit, but in doing so he lost control and hit the concrete guard rail on the left shoulder of the roadway.”
In addition, the report clearly states ***s vehicle sustained heavy front end damage, but was able to be driven from the sceneThere is no mention of tire damage, nor, again, that the black *** made contact with ***s vehicleAttached is a copy of the police report for your review,In an effort to verify whether there was/was not contact with the other vehicle, we had our auto damage adjuster inspect the vehicleHe determined the damages to the left side of the vehicle were fresh and consistent with the accident description, but he was not sure about the damages to the tireWe then assigned a special investigator to inspect the vehicleHe spoke to *** who confirmed that he did not think the *** actually hit him until he noticed the damages to the tire and rim after the loss, and assumed it was from the ***The investigator then inspected the vehicle and his findings were that the damaged tire looked more like a direct blow, not consistent with how the loss occurredHe also states there was no damage to the side of the vehicle which would have been more consistent with a sideswipe type lossIn the state of Tennessee, contact is required for uninsured motorist claims when the driver is not identified unless the facts are corroborated by a witness not in the insured vehicleThis is covered under TC.A 56-7-Our investigation concluded that there was no evidence to indicate the *** actually made contact with our insureds vehicleGiven that, we determined the Uninsured Motorist coverage would not apply. If you need any additional information please feel free to contact *** ***, Claims Manager, at ###-###-####, extension ***.Sincerely,?

August 5, 2014Dear *** ***:This will acknowledge receipt of the rejection of GEICO’s response in this matterGEICO acknowledges an isolated agent error in the processing of the application in question, yet is bound by regulatory guidelines to accurately assess the risk based upon the company’s filings within the first sixty days of a policyWhile we strive to bind 100% of our policies with 100% accuracy, errors do occur and it is unfortunate that *** *** was not provided with an accurate premium at the time of sale.I would like to take this opportunity to apologize on behalf of the agent for any inconvenience or confusion incurred by *** ***If you have any further questions or concerns related to this matter, please feel free to contact me at ###-###-####.Very truly yours,Michael *S*** GEICO’s Executive Office

This is in response to
your email of July 6, addressed to Tony N*** of GEICOAs requested, we have not included any of the customer's personally identifying informationWe understand that the customer is not a GEICO insuredShe stated that on June 14, an unauthorized withdrawal of $was taken from her bank account and applied to an existing GEICO policyGEICO accepts payments on good faith, and we assume that the policyholder is the accountholder or has the accountholder's permission when making paymentsThe customer has not provided us with enough information to locate this paymentWe have attempted to reach her three times asking that she give us a call so that we can discuss what is needed in order to locate the paymentTo date, she has not returned any of our callsShe also stated in her complaint that her bank had settled the issue regarding the fundsWe trust that means they allowed her to dispute the payment and have the funds returned to her bank accountIf she wishes to pursue fraud charges for misuse of her bank account, the customer will need to file a police reportThe police department will then serve us with a subpoena, at which time all information regarding the party that used her account information will be released to the policeGEICO is very concerned, and we are always quick in our attempts to resolve banking issuesIn order for us to remove the customer's bank information, we must first locate the policy where the disputed payment was appliedIn order to do so, we need at least the last four digits of her account numberOnce the payment is located, we will immediately remove the customer's banking informationWe trust that this information is sufficient to allow you to close out the complaintIf you have any additional questions or concerns regarding this issue, please feel free to call my associate, Barbara C***, at ###-###-####, ext, Sincerely,
Heather M***

I am writing today to complain of the poor service I received from Geico on Two different occasionsIt is appalling to witness an employee of such a respected company to behave in such a mannerI was both shocked and disappointed to be treated in this way and believe someone
should be made awareI called the company on February 24, to add a new auto insurance policy and was assisted originally by a representative named AlexisHe offered information in regards to this new vehicle, and in the beginning was very helpful, however, that changed very quicklyThe representative proceeded to provide me with a quote of $for full coverage on a brand new carI was taken back by this quote and advised the representative that $was not affordable and that I would have to look elsewhere for insuranceAlexis proceeded to see "what he could do" to lower this priceHe came back and offered me a lower rate of $406.00, also being completely unaffordable for me, I explained again I simply cannot afford thisAs I was on the phone with Alexis, I was advised that I was labeled as Auto Indemnity and asked Alexis why this wasHis response was that it was because I had not had insurance prior to years ago when I originally insured a car with your company and in basic terms I was a liability despite having nothing against meHe advised me that my policy is renewed every months which means that the times its been renewed and "reviewed" by your company meant that my background which exists of no tickets, or accidents meant absolutely nothing and I would be labeled as such for as long as they wanted to keep it that wayAfter he continued to replete the same unhelpful information I asked to speak with a supervisor/manager and was told by him that they are going to tell me the same thing he told meRUDE & inappropriate! After being placed on hold, I was hung up onI received a phone call shortly after stating they hung up by accident and greeted by a rude woman Kathleen, who states is from your Buffalo office, and quickly began talking without taking a breath or even allowing me an opportunity to explain what the problem was and telling me that whatever the representative told me is the same thing she's going to tell meI quickly responded with my original question which was, how long will I be labeled this way, which I understood was why my quote was so high, and she told me she doesn't have an answer for meI asked what are the qualifications to be removed from such labeling and she told me that is company policy and she cannot tell me that! I have never heard of such a thingI was very upset and said this makes no sense and Kathleen's response was it does make sense you just don't like the response ma'amExcuse me?? I was furious to say the leastIs this how you train your "managers" to speak to people? I am a customer of yours for years with a auto policy & home owners policy that's never been late, in fact I am currently paid in full until April with autoI've never had any traffic or speeding tickets since I've been insured by your company, yet I am being labeled as a delinquent customer because I'm "newly" insured and was advised you're going to keep me labeled this way for as long as you choose to! I would love a better understand of thisOn another occasion, my husband was in a accidentAfter the accident I called your company and reported it & was advised after the explanation of the accident was given that a copy of the police report was needed & that it would be labeled as "no fault" which wouldn't affect my insurance & that our car would be fixed and we could also get a rent a car while the repairs were being madeAfter speaking with this representative I uploaded the police report and was advised that a adjuster would be in touchWe received a call a few days later and explained the details of the accident yet againJust to give a brief description my husband was driving straight he was in the right lane of a two lane street and a young girl was in the left lane beside himThe young lady decided she wanted to make a right without looking and hit the left passenger side of our carAfter explaining this to the adjuster he stated he would review everything and speak with the young lady and would be back in touch with usJust a FYI the young lady was just that, about years old, inexperienced driver, and my husband years old & driving since he's The reason I mention age is because insurance companies always takes your age into consideration when you're being provided with insuranceWhen you're young your insurance is much higher because you're considered a risk or liability because common accidents like this happen when you're inexperienced! With this being said, the adjuster did in fact call us back and explained that the young lady said that we hit her, which is a LIE, & he said that our car would not be fixed and it would be labeled as no fault and wouldn't affect our policy by increasing, however, we were completely unhappy with this result because it was not our fault to begin with & the adjuster didn't careHe basically he told us that he believed the young year olds explanation instead of using common sense and listening to the police report and our explanationIt is impossible for us to have crashed into her because there is no where to have made a left there and the young lady even mentioned she was trying to make a right so how would we of hit her? Besides the fact that the young girls car smelled like pot, her friend in the car that was with her was yelling at her for not looking before moving into the other laneWe later found out that the young lady also had Geico as their insurance which made it clear why our car is left unfixed!
I would like to believe that this is not how Geico handles their business!

April 7, Dear *** ***:This will acknowledge receipt of your request regarding the above named insured’s private passenger automobile policyI have carefully reviewed the matter and my findings are as follows:In ***’s correspondence to your organization she
expresses concern regarding the handling of her GEICO policy. She has requested that GEICO retroactively adjust a deductible to lower her premium.GEICO’s records show that *** added comprehensive and collision coverage with $deductibles to her policy on September 3, to be effective September 4, *** was advised that a photo inspection would be required within days in order to maintain the coveragePolicy paperwork reflecting the change in coverage was sentThe photo inspection requirement was not satisfied and the coverage was removed effective September 4, No premium was paid for the coverage due to the retroactive removal. On December 10, 2013, *** added comprehensive and collision coverage with $deductibles to her policy to be effective December 11, She was, once again, advised of the inspection requirement and paperwork was sent showing the change. On January 14, (effective January 15), *** changed the deductibles on her comprehensive and collision to $causing a decrease in premiumLater that same day, she removed the comprehensive and collision completely. On January 23, (effective January 24), *** added comprehensive and collision back to the policy with $deductibles causing an increase in premiumOn March 27, (effective March 28), *** changed the deductibles to $causing a decrease in premium. On April 2, (effective April 3, 2014) *** changed the deductible back to $On April 9, (effective April 10), *** removed comprehensive and collision from the policy. It is GEICO’s position that all proper procedures were followed in the handling of ***’s policyAll changes to the policy coverage/deductibles were made as requested by ***Please note that there was a loss on December 13, in which *** collected under her collision coverage*** was only held responsible for a $deductible at that timeGEICO maintains that no retroactive adjustments are dueIf you have any questions, or if GEICO can be of any further service in this matter, please contact me at ###-###-####.Very truly yours,

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:It's not all truthful*** *** does not have all the correct factsIn the letter sent by him to the Revdex.com he stated that the conclusion that the other driver was not found at fault was due to my statement, the other insurance carrier's statement, and the police reportI was told on February 5, by a Geico representative named *** *** that they do not have enough evidence to find the other driver at fault. I faxed over the police report at 1:p.mon February because I was told by *** *** that he still didn't see the report onlineSo again, they did not even have the police report when they made that determination. Shortly after that I called in to see if they had a statement from the other driver to which they told me she was not calling back so they did not.So *** was incorrect when he said they used her statement and the police report to make the conclusion that there was not enough evidence to find her at fault
As far as the rental situation goesI understand how much rental time I hadWhat I can't accept is the fact that they told me my car was deemed a toal loss the night before my rental car was dueSo I have had no car for weeks nowI was upset because their towin g company admitted that they messed up and didn't tow the car when they were supposed toI spoke with a Geico representative on February who told me the car would be towedWhen it wasn't towed, I then called and spoke to a Geico Towing Supervisor on February who apologized to me and said it would be towed first thing the next daySo although I understand what *** was saying about my rental, and how much I was allowed, it was more a matter of timing than moneyAgain, I was told the night before my rental car was due that it was a total loss and have been without a vehicleMy complaint was never about the moneySo again, that was not truthful
As far as the careseat issue: I bought a car seat on February 9th to be able to transport my daughter around in my husband's car when needed. I was told by *** ***, a Geico appraiser, on February 12th to meet him at his place of work on Friday of that week to return the car seat to him and he would do research in how much he owes meI then ended up speaking with another appraiser named *** *** who told me to just send him the picture of the car seat receipt and he would reimburse meI sent that to him on March 4, and he just finally gave me the reimbursement check for the seat on March 19th after weeks of asking for itSo yes, I was advised how to deal with the car seat issue as ***'s states, but after a lot of runarounds on their behalf it took over a month and a half for that check, and more importatnly, a lot of stressAgain, it wasn't about the moneyIt was my time and all the stress talking with all these people to finally get reimbursed
Last, I did recieve a phone call from *** *** advising me of all the things stated in ***'s letter, but it was not on February 19th, it was yesterday, March 19th
Finally, I am not accepting this response because the facts are not correct and Geico is still not understanding what they put me and my family through after the accident, which is hard enough to go throughRegards,*** ***
