Be aware of Cerritos Nissan Service Dept., I brought my Nissan Maxima in for service on TuesJune 30th, which is covered by a "bumper to bumper" extended warrantyI could already tell early on there would be a problem by the way the service guy Eric *** was trying to discourage me from using my warrantyHe kept saying things like "these insurance companies are hard to work with", "you will owe Cerritos Nissan $1,if the insurance decides not to pay for your car." Eric was a customer's worst nightmare he constantly called me with scare tactics to prevent me from using my warranty coverageI told Eric that I paid for my warranty coverage and I'm going to use itAfter dropping my car off on TuesJune 30th, I finally got it back on FriJuly 17thI was told by Eric that it was the timing chain in the engine that went bad and my warranty coverage was charged over $1,My car drove for two days only by the third day on Monday July 20th, the check engine light was back on and the car sounded like it had a diesel engineWe are now worse off than we were before we ever took our car to Cerritos NissanWe took the car back on MonJuly 20th and we were told by a serviceman Juan that they needed to re set the timing and it would be ready no later than July 21stOn July 21st Eric ( who was off on 7/20) called and gave us grim news stating the timing chain is working perfectly and it is a different issue that would cost us $1,I was beyond mad and I went to Cerritos Nissan to speak with the service manager Peter *** who was literally a jokeHe basically dittoed what Eric said and told me even after paying them $I could very well be back in three more days with a different issue because he cannot guarantee the workThese people are crooks so do yourself a favor and RUN from Cerritos NissanI see why they are not registered with Revdex.comThey have no intention on doing right by their customers
