Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because: Empire insist that my complaints started after the pipe burst and that is not the caseMy complaint is the material I chose was not installedI was only shown the color and not able to inspect the woodI admit the fault on my part that I should have insist so but thought I had no worries because it was Empire. No moisture test was conducted prior to the installationI made over complaints to Empire about the quality of the wood and the workmanship well before the water damage it just so happen to burst during my complainingEmpire refuse to admit the salesperson wrote down the wrong product I agreed to and insist they are correct when as the customer I have no defense against themI feel like I am being bullied and they are twisting my complaint as to I am only complaining after the water damage when that is not the caseI am complaining that I should have gotten the product I asked for and that even after they installed the floor I had to make phone calls because their was too much glue left behind and their was a plank damaged in which the worker insist on making me agree that he had fixed it when he did notBy the time I was available for him to come back out the pipe burstI have declined their work because they will not accept responsibility for their fault and do not wish to go thru problem after problem with these guysEmpire acts as if everything was done correctly and it was notThe moisture test was not conducted and regardless if the floor would have been saved the moisture in the house would have still been too much and they would have discovered that if they would have did it firstI am only one person asking for a refund and I see absolutely no reason why I should have to go thru so much trouble for a refundIt is clear I was overcharged for a product I did not ask forEmpire way of doing business is not what I expectedI am simply asking for compensation for Empire to accept their faultI agreed and signed the paperwork because I just wanted to get the floor done and over with because I had some set backs and just wanted the floor completedI really though I had contracted an honest company that I had nothing to worry about but would have been better off getting someone from Home DepotI also checked the price of the wood and was told it was a special order because it was very thin and flimsyI was told by the clerk the wood was $sq ftand I had the nerve to think I was getting quality for such an expense price

because:Once again Empire Carpet did NOT follow through! They were supposed to show up between 8-on December 23,and nobody ever showed up OR even called with an explanation as to whyI'm so frustrated by these poor business ethics!

We were very happy from start to finish with Empire TodayGreat communication about our appointments, the salesman was on time and thorough and our installers were very professional, on time and did a great jobThank you

The 5mm flooring the customer ordered and was installed with is one of the thickest we carryFurther, the thickness is not listed on the contract, rather the flooring is identified by style and color

We appreciate the customer contacting us regarding their concerns.Adjusting doors is not part of the carpet installation processHowever, for customer satisfaction and goodwill, we have offered to service the doors at no cost and have left messages to schedule
