I spoke with a customer service representative about the Revdex.com complaintShe essentially said that the company could not do anything for me unless I went through legal channelsShe also told me that the other customer service representatives were incorrect in telling me that inspection reports could be sent to meShe also told me that they were incorrect in telling me thatif I had purchased the extended warranty they would be able to help meI will be seeking legal representation and contacting the Attorney General

All DriveTime vehicles are thoroughly inspected prior to sale at our DriveTime inspection centersParts that fail inspection are replacedHowever, if a part is functioning at the time of inspection, there is no need to replace it. Page one of the "Customer Delivery Checklist" under Important Reminder, states:"Our focus of the multi-point inspection is primarily the safety and reliability of your vehicle…Please insure you are comfortable with the condition of the vehicle prior to purchasing." Additionally, on page one of the "Customer Delivery Checklist" under Maintenance Items, states: "…These maintenance items are subject to replacement only upon failure of the component..." At the time of sale, our customer signed and dated the "Customer Delivery Checklist." Attached you will the Customer Delivery Checklist for your review. At the time of sale, our customer was provided an *** *** Vehicle History ReportThe *** *** Vehicle History Report may indicate a prior accident record, a rental or government vehicle, registered in a storm area, and/or a theft recordIf any of the items were applicable, these items would be noted in the Vehicle Information section on the *** *** History reportOur customer signed and acknowledged the vehicle had been in one accident prior to purchase. DriveTime offers a Vehicle Return Program, which gives our customer the ability to return the vehicle to DriveTime and terminate the Simple Interest Retail Installment ContractTo participate in the vehicle return program, our customer must return the vehicle to the dealership within five calendar daysAttached is the Retail Purchase Agreement for your review. The following is our customer’s repair history:- On November 14, 2014, a repair facility contacted Aeverex and recommended replacing brake pads and rotorsAeverex approved the rotors as an exception and the diagnostic feesAeverex denied the brake pads since it is a non-covered componentLater that day, DriveTime made an exception to approve the brake pads. - On November 26, 2014, a repair facility contacted Aeverex and recommended repairs for the steering column, steering control module, a new battery, oil pan gasket, and engine oilAeverex approved all repairs recommended. - On December 4, 2014, a repair facility contacted Aeverex to add an alignment to the claimAeverex denied that repair since it is a non-covered component. - On December 13, 2014, a repair facility contacted Aeverex and recommended to reprogram the body control moduleAeverex approved that repair under the Vehicle Service Contract. - On December 26, 2014, a repair facility contacted Aeverex and recommended diagnostic test in order to fix the vehicle’s static on radioAeverex approved the diagnostic fee as an exception.- On January 23, 2015, a repair facility contacted Aeverex and recommended the following repairs: radio coax, socket housing, SMB Socket connector, HF socket connector, and HF connect pin to fix the static on the radioAeverex made an exception to approve all recommended repairs. - On January 26, 2015, a repair facility contacted Aeverex and requested rental vehicle coverage for daysAeverex made an exception to approve days of rental vehicle coverage at per day. I rejected there response because they never fix the grill and the shop they told me to take to said that the grill wasn't covered every time I took there where Drive time told me to take it and then drive time keep say no claim was filed but from the initial trip to the shop and every time I when I told the shop about the grill they put zip tied to keep it place and the *** makes this old rusty squeaky rocking chair sound the shop said because the entire bottom undercarriage is rusty corridor and there's nothing they can do about it I have to pay for and drive this *** for months like this so do Drivetime actually think this is good business practices I want a resolution either the price lower or those things fixed

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attentionWe appreciate the opportunity to readdress our customer’s concerns On December and 2, 2014, our customer contacted Aeverex with concerns about a knocking noise while driving and air conditioner issuesAeverex referred our customer to an in-network repair facility to have the vehicle diagnosed.On December 3, 2014, an in-network repair facility called a claim into Aeverex for a suspension diagnosis, alignment, and HVAC diagnosisThe suspension diagnosis was approved in full under the terms of the DriveCare Limited Warranty; however, the alignment and HVAC diagnosis were not coveredAeverex made an exception to approve the alignment, but the HVAC diagnosis was not approved.On April 29, 2015, our customer contacted Aeverex and advised she was still having the same issues with an odor coming from the air conditioner from the first days of the loanAeverex advised our customer that there was no coverage for odor in the vehicle under the terms of the DriveCare Limited Warranty.On May 1, 2015, our customer contacted DriveTime stating there was a ventilation issue with the vehicle that was making her sickOur customer stated she did not have the funds to get the vehicle fixed and was considering voluntarily surrendering the vehicle.On May 7, 2015, our customer contacted DriveTime and advised she would be voluntarily surrendering the vehicle the next day due to the ventilation issues with the vehicleWe advised our customer to send us documentation of the issues with the vehicle so we could review options to assist.On May 18, 2015, our customer contacted DriveTime and advised she would be returning the vehicle because it had no heat or air conditioning, and she no longer wanted itWe advised our customer of the process for voluntary surrender and the ramifications a voluntary repossession would have on her creditLater that day, our customer returned the vehicle to the DriveTime dealership where she purchased.All DriveTime vehicles are thoroughly inspected at our DriveTime inspection centers prior to saleParts that fail inspection are replacedHowever, if a part is functioning at the time of inspection, there is no need to replace it.On the Customer Delivery Checklist under “Important Reminder,” it is stated: “Our focus of the multi-point inspection is primarily the safety and reliability of your vehicle…Please insure you are comfortable with the condition of the vehicle prior to purchasing.” Additionally, on the Customer Delivery Checklist under “Maintenance Items,” it is stated: “…These maintenance items are subject to replacement only upon failure of the component...” Without any new information, DriveTime is still unable to accommodate our customer’s request to be reimbursed all the funds she has paid into the loanAs an alternative form of assistance, should our customer be willing to enter into a Full Settlement and Release of Claims with DriveTime, DriveTime is willing to waive the deficiency balance on her account and delete her trade line from her credit reportingThis settlement offer will stand until July 5, 2015. vehicle was brought into a repair facility for brake issues*** approved resurfacing of the rotors but the brakes were at 40% life and therefor were not replacedOn September 26, 2013, our customer’s wife (authorized third party) called into the DriveTime dealership with complaints against ***The complaint was due a non-covered seal that was causing the leak in the vehicleThe authorized third party stated the mechanic somewhat fixed it for them but the seal area was still leakingPer the notations in the *** notes, the repair facility informed *** that they do not do this type of work*** informed our customer that he would need to take the vehicle to a different repair facility to address the leakOn October 26, 2013, the authorized third party called into DriveTime about the leak repairWe advised that would be a non-covered item under the warrantyHowever, we would be able to look into assistance if they paid for the repairsOn December 4, 2013, the authorized third party called into DriveTime and stated there was a rainstorm and the vehicle got water in itShe also advised that the vehicle had been a car accident before time of saleWe advised her to get an estimate for the repairs and to follow up with us.On December 6, 2013, the authorized third party called back in for the follow up callShe advised that the repair facility was still diagnosing the vehicleShe stated the repair facility did inform her that it would probably be around $from what they are seeing so farShe inquired about the assistance via deferment of a paymentWe advised she would need to send in a paid receipt to be able to look into completing a deferment on the accountOn December 20, 2013, our customer brought the vehicle to different repair facility and a claim was called into *** for a windshield seal and brake padsThese components non-covered under the warrantyIn addition, they were unable duplicate the transmission slipping issueOn December 23, 2013, we contacted the authorized third party to go over her concerns about the leakShe advised that the vehicle had been in an accident that is possibly responsible for the leak issueWe advised her that the *** AutoCheck History Report our customer signed at the time of sale indicated that there was an accidentThis accident was disclosed to our customer prior to purchaseThe authorized third party stated she would send in her receipts for the seal she paid for out of pocketShe was upset that the seal she paid for did not address the leak issue and that the repair facility was unable to locate where the leak was coming from after windshield was re-sealedOn December 26, 2013, the authorized third party called in to see if we had received the receiptsThe representative advised that we would have to call out to the repair facility to verify the repair was paid forThis validation had to occur due to the receipt appearing to be in her handwritingWe obtained the repair facility’s phone number from the authorized third party to verifyOn December 27, 2013, we tried to contact the repair facility to verify the repair was paid forWhen we called the phone number provided, it went to a personal voicemailWe were also unable to locate the repair facility in that state to obtain a business numberThe authorized third party called later that day and we advised her of this informationShe advised that her friend had completed the work at his small shop located at his residenceWe advised that if we had known that the mechanic she went to was not certified, we would have referred her to a certified repair facilityWe were unable to confirm the hand written receipts and advised she would need to take it into a certified repair facilityOnce we receive the paid invoice, we can then proceed to process a defermentOn December 30, 2013, we confirmed the out of pocket expenses from the non-covered repairs mentioned on December 20, We advised that they would need to make a payment on January 3, before we could process a defermentThe payment was made on January 4, and we started the deferment on January The deferment application was cancelled due to the authorized third party stating the vehicle needed to go back into a repair facilityWe advised we would adjust the extension as needed if she sent in additional receipts for any non-covered repairsOn January 8, 2014, a repair facility called into *** for brake noise*** informed the repair facility that brake noise and brakes in general are non-covered componentsOn January 20, 2014, we contacted the authorized third party regarding these non-covered repairsShe advised us of the repair’s timeframe as well as when she will have the invoice paidWe advised we would process the deferment once we receive the additional paid receiptsWe advised that once we process the deferment, the account will not be eligible for additional deferments for another six monthsOn February 10, 2014, the authorized third party called about the deferment on her accountShe was advised that as agreed in previous conversations, it could not be processed yet because of the new mechanical issues that aroseWe advised that we needed to include those out of pocket expenses in the defermentOn March 4, 2014, we were in contact with the authorized third party about the deferment and that we were waiting until the last non-cover repairs were paid forShe advised she has having the repairs completed soon and will fax in the paid receiptsOn March 25, 2014, *** approved the disc caliper, brake pads, and rotors to be replacedOn April and 10, 2014, we tried contacting our customer and the authorized third party regarding the receipts to complete the deferment but we were unsuccessfulThe account was now at days past dueOur collections department got in contact with our customer and authorized third party regarding the past due amount on the account and set up multiple payment arrangements to assist with the past due balanceOn May 5, 2014, the vehicle was repossessed due payment defaultThe authorized third party called in regarding the status of the accountOur customer made a payment that came back as insufficient fundsWe have been unable to contact our customer but would like to provide the following information: ? In reconditioning of the vehicle, the brakes were above minimum standards? There was no transmission issues or water damage found in reconditioning and the repair facilities that the vehicle was brought to after the sale were unable to locate an issue with the transmission? Our customer signed the *** AutoCheck Vehicle History Report acknowledging that there was a minor rear end accident? We checked the *** AutoCheck Vehicle History Report, and the report was clear of any flood damage? We attempted multiple times to assist our customer and authorized third party with a deferment and payment arrangements? unable to speak with him, as he was not authorized on the account in reference; however, we encouraged him to provide a copy of an Executor of the Estate or a Power of AttorneyHe stated the required documentation was not available, and had only been able to provide the death certificateAdditionally he stated he wished to recover the personal belongings that were in the vehicle at the time of recovery; he advised the recovery agency had contacted him and offered him the option to recover his personal items for a fee of $At this time, we encouraged him to provide expense receipts so we may review options for possible reimbursement On May 25, 2016, the third party contacted DriveTime with concerns about the personal belongings in the vehicleHe stated he spoke with the recovery agency, and they would be unable to assist him with the retrieval of the items without written consent from the lien holderWe advised we would be unable to accommodate his wish to provide documentation to the recovery agency, as we are unable to discuss and/or provide information in regard to the account with a third party without permission from the Account Holder, Power of Attorney, or Executor of Estate On May 27, 2016, DriveTime contacted the third party to address his concernsWe advised we may be able to assist with his wishes to recover his personal items from the vehicleWe encouraged him to provide us with an itemized list of the belongings from the vehicle, so that DriveTime can coordinate its efforts with the recovery agency to reach an amicable resolution. On November 14, 2014, our customer informed us she had obtained her plates from the Department of Motor VehiclesWe encouraged our customer to get second mechanical opinion regarding her repair concerns and offered to cover the diagnostic feeOnce a claim is filed, DriveTime will review for possible assistance.
At this time, we are unable to accommodate our customer’s request for a down payment refund, lowering of payments, or credit towards property taxes.
As a goodwill gesture, DriveTime has applied a $credit to our customer’s principal balance.
