entered into a Simple Interest Retail Installment Contract when he purchased a Jeep Commander from DriveTimeAttached you will find a copy of the Contract for your reviewThe Contract was subsequently assigned to DT Acceptance Corporation, now known as Bridgecrest Acceptance CorporationThe purchase included a 30-day/1,500-mile Limited Warranty (the Warranty), our customer purchased an optional Vehicle Service Contract (the VSC) for additional protectionBoth of these products are administered by third party company called AeverexAttached you will find the Warranty and the VSC for your review All DriveTime vehicles are thoroughly inspected prior to sale at our DriveTime inspection centersParts that fail inspection are replacedHowever, if a part is functioning at the time of inspection, there is no need to replace it On August 9, 2016, our customer contacted Aeverex to report that her vehicle was smoking and stallingAeverex referred our customer to an in-network repair facility to have the concerns diagnosed On August 10, 2016, the in-network repair facility reported that our customer’s vehicle had been towed inThey further reported that the vehicle would require a replacement engineAeverex approved the engine replacement, and began sourcing the required partsPage of the VSC states the following, under PROVIDER’S OBLIGATIONS: “Replacement parts can be of like kind and qualityThis may include the use of new, remanufactured or used parts as determined by the Administrator.” The engine sourced for this repair was used, and had approximately 20,miles fewer than the vehicle did at the time of sale On August 15, 2016, our customer contacted *** to inquire about rental assistanceAeverex advised that, per the terms of the Vehicle Service Contract, they would provide rental reimbursement of up to $per day based on the labor hours required for a covered repair On August 19, 2016, Aeverex contacted their part supplier to inquire as to the whereabouts of the engineThe supplier indicated that, due to an internal error, the engine had been delayed, and would be sent out that day On August 23, 2016, our customer contacted Aeverex for an updateThey reported that they expected the engine to arrive on August 24, 2016; that they would authorize an additional seven days of rental reimbursement, for a total of fifteen days of reimbursementThey also advised that they would waive our customer’s $deductible as a goodwill gesture, due to the delay On September 8, 2016, our customer contacted Aeverex to advise that the repairs had not been completed, and to request additional rental assistanceAeverex extended her rental assistance to thirty days of rental reimbursement On September 9, 2016, the repair facility contacted Aeverex to advise that there was a fuel injector issue with the replacement engineAfter this consultation, the repair facility replaced the faulty fuel injector with a working injector from the previous engine That same day, our customer contacted us to advise that her vehicle needed a second replacement engineOur representative advised that the repair facility had not reported this to Aeverex, and that the fuel injector repair had been approvedOur representative advised that we would need the repair facility to report any additional issues to Aeverex so that we could review for other possible remedies

Simple Interest Retail Installment Contract for your reviewOn November 14, 2016, our customer visited DriveTime to view inventoryShe expressed interest in a Ford TaurusBased off her qualifications, regarding monthly income, credit score, and other items, the minimum down payment for the vehicle was $As there was not enough time to complete the contracting, she informed us she would return the following day to finalize itOn November 15, 2016, our customer came into DriveTime to finalize the contractAs our underwriting terms change, we required an additional $down payment to which our customer agreed to payWe understand our customer’s frustration and are further investigating the reasons why the change occurredDriveTime changes underwriting terms in order to ensure our customers are being set up for success with their loanWe want to make sure our customers are comfortable with their scheduled payment amounts and will increase the down payment to accommodate such request by lowering the amount financedThe additional $our customer paid was for the down payment on the vehicle and has been applied as suchDriveTime has not been able to reach our customer to discuss this matter furtherAt this time, DriveTime agrees to refund our customer $as a goodwill gestureWe will continue our efforts to come to an amicable resolution with herWe apologize for any inconvenience or confusion this matter may have causedAs an additional goodwill gesture, DriveTime has applied a $credit towards our customer’s payments

the Simple Interest Retail Installment Contract for your reference. On January 31, 2015, the account was at days past due and “charged-off” due to non-payment. On February 12, 2015, our customer’s vehicle was sent out for repossession; this was put on hold when an arrangement was made for our customer to pay $1,towards her DriveTime accountThe payment had to be received by March 27, to be able to keep the vehicle, even though she was past due $2,Our customer made the necessary payment within the allotted timeframe. On March 24, 2015, our customer called in regarding her DriveTime account not being reported to her credit, stating she received a letter in the mail about DriveTime’s cease in credit reportingShe also advised that this was the reason we were unable to locate her account throughout the month of FebruaryWe advised that our customer placed a full cease and desist on her account on December 23, 2014, thus we have been unable to contact herWe also informed our customer that our credit reporting is in the process of being reinstated. DriveTime has temporarily ceased credit reporting to all three major credit bureau agenciesThe cease is due to required system enhancements taking place in the manner DriveTime reports to the credit bureausWe have completed the necessary updates with Experian, and they have uploaded our customers’ account information for public viewingWe anticipate the enhancements with the other two agencies will be completed no later than the end of AprilThis is why our customer can see her account reporting as a “Charge-Off” to one credit bureau and cannot see her account reporting to the other two bureaus. On March 26, 2015, our customer contacted DriveTime and stated her payment schedule had changedAt that time, our customer’s account reflected as days past due We advised our customer that we would be able to make a frequency change on the loan once the account was current. On April 2, 2015, DriveTime declined the frequency change due to the status of our customer’s accountOur customer’s account reflected as 5 days past due and needed to be current to process a frequency change. On June 18, 2015, our customer emailed DriveTime advising she had recently paid out-of-pocket for repairs on the vehicle of a knock sensor, harmonic balancer, belts, brakes and a tune up totaling $1,Our customer informed us that these repair cost were the reason for her delinquency on the account.On July 6, 2015, our customer contacted DriveTime to advise of the recent repairs needed for the vehicleShe also inquired about a frequency change of her payments stating that she now was being paid on the and 30th of each monthWe informed our customer that because her account was currently days past due, we would require the account to show as current before processing a frequency changeDriveTime advised our customer that we would review for assistance on account because of repair costs. On July 16, 2015, our customer contacted DriveTime in regards to assistance with her loanWe advised our customer we would be able to offer loan modifications in the form of payment defermentsIn order to process these deferments, we would require receipts for the out-of-pocket expenses accrued from the repairsOur customer informed us that she would not be able to provide paid receipts for these repairs. On July 21, 2015, our customer contacted DriveTime in regards to addressing her complaintWe informed our customer that in order to process a frequency change on her account, we would require the account to reflect as current. DriveTime offered to assist our customer with payments deferments to bring the account current once provided receipts for out-of-pocket expensesAfter the payments deferments are processed, we will be able to assist our customer withtheir request of a frequency change on the account. At this time, we have received paid receipts for out-of-pocket expenses from our customer and have applied payment deferments to her accountWe will be able to process a frequency change to accommodate to our customer’s request at the beginning of August to reach an amicable resolution. ancillary product, in a way that would affect the monthly payment requiredOur customer requested this refund check be cut and addressed to her directlyWe advised her that the prorated refund would apply towards the principal balance only as it is financed into her loan That same day, DriveTime applied a $credit towards the principal balance At this time, our customer has expressed dissatisfaction with our resolutionHowever, DriveTime is unable to accommodate our customer’s request to have the prorated refund addressed to her
