Initial presentation was great. I am looking forward to construction phase.
Thank you for the review, we appreciate the chance to work with you and thank you for considering DaBella for your home improvement projects. Have a wonderful day!
I met with JR L today for an estimate on my roof. He was knowledgeable, personable, and did a great job of explaining DaBella's very capable and impressive roofing process. I accepted their estimate and am schedule for a new roof! Looking forward to the install.
Thank you so much for the five star review! We appreciate the feedback and are so glad you had a great experience with RJ- he's a great guy and a wonderful asset to the DaBella family. We can't wait to get going on the new roof and we thank you for choosing DaBella, have a wonderful day!
We had Joel P and Tom M out for a quote for *** siding as well as 6" seamless gutters. They were extremely knowledgeable and amenable to working with our budget as well as trying to find the best possible color combinations to accent our stone. I would highly recommend them and we ended up selecting them for our siding and gutter project.
Thank you for taking the time to provide such detailed and wonderful feedback regarding your experience working with Tom and Joel. They are very appreciated around here and we are very glad you had the opportunity to work together. Thank you for choosing DaBella, we can't wait to see the home once the installation is done!
We met with two representatives from DaBella regarding new siding for our stucco house. Adam and Travis were very professional and were quick to answer all of our questions, which we had plenty of. We thought our appointment was at 9:00am, so when they didn't show up by 9:30am we left. I got a call from DaBella at 10:04am saying that the reps were at our house. Unfortunately, we got the time mixed up. We told them we can reschedule or they can wait until we return around 11:00am. They patiently waited for us to return. After hearing their presentation, which was informative, we decided on a product that best suited our needs and what we could afford. We are scheduled for mid-August to start on the new project.
Thank you for the wonderful review! We are so glad we were able to connect and make the appointment work, Travis and Adam are absolutely wonderful to work with and it makes us happy that they were accommodating and willing to go the extra mile! We can't wait to get going on your fabulous new siding and we appreciate you trusting DaBella with your home. Have a wonderful day :)
The guys that came out and did my inspection where wonderful. They walked me through all the step that they take, helped me find a solution to a big problem with the front porch awning that was installed poorly by the previous owners. They are amazing and made me feel more comfortable with this decision to get my roof fix.
Tabitha, Thank you so much for the five star review! We are so glad that you had a positive experience working with our representatives, we appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback and for considering DaBella for the roof and gutters. Have a wonderful day!
We just completed our inspection for a Siding project. Anthony and Bella are both professionals and gave us very detailed information about the entire process and we truly appreciated their patience.
Bella- amazing personality and was a plus to know that she is both an interior and exterior de prayer so her feedback was appreciated.
She was a pleasure to work with.
Anthony- approachable personality and gives detailed information on the quality of the products. Very professional.
We cannot wait for the new siding on our home. Overall great experience
Thank you for the lovely review, we appreciate your feedback greatly! The individualized responses for Bella and Anthony are amazing and absolutely reflect their unique personalities. From our family to yours, thank you for choosing DaBella
Skyler and Byron came out to look at our windows and We really liked there products that they had to offer. Extremely professional and had a lot of insight and knowledge on not only what they were selling but what would best suit my house. I would recommend this company!
Thank you so much for the lovely review, we appreciate your feedback regarding the experience you and *** had with Byron and Skyler greatly. Thank you for considering DaBella and have a wonderful week!
DaBella's is a dishonest, over priced, scam.
When they came to my home to give an estimate it was very clear from the beginning that we were in the market for year round energy efficient windows. They promised us not only would we get energy efficient windows but that we were getting a good deal on them as well-- dropping the price $4k for an honest review on ***. The sales representative gave us a quote and my wife and I weren't interested because they weren't willing to perform all of the work required: expanding one window and adding a non-existing window.
They called back a day later, after *** had come out to take a look at the project, asking for the opportunity to re-bid. We agreed and they came out saying they could do the two windows if I had the framing ready for installation. They also gave a "marketing discount" that was only good until the end of the month (this was March 30). I should have seen through it and hope that others will.
We agreed to have DaBella install the windows that THEY manufacture because they are a family business.
A contract was signed, but never sent to us, and a payment was made.
4 days later I received a bid from *** for $6k (note $4k less with no "specials") with specifications detailing windows with a .29 Ufactor and .22 Solar Heat Gain, with a better warranty (they cover glass breakage) for the same work scope. At this point in time I had still received no information on the windows that DaBella sold me.
Two weeks later a sub-contractor, NOT DaBella, came out to measure windows. A month later the same sub-contractor, NOT DaBella, gave me a call saying my windows had arrived and set up a day to install.
When the sub-contractor, NOT DaBella, showed up on June 2, 2020, I asked them to take a look at the openings, which I had spent my weekend building, to make sure I didn't need to make any modifications to fit the windows. He counted the the windows and notified me that those two windows weren't included. (Not according to the paperwork that I had). DaBella did knock the cost of those 2 windows and an extra $500 off of the price, but I still have to deal with 2 holes in my house where windows aren't, until *** has them manufactured and installed.
The following day after install, my wife reports to me that she can't do the dishes in the morning because it is blazing hot!!! No difference from the windows installed in 1983 that we removed for that same reason!!! Sitting on the couch in the afternoon enjoying the sunlight offered by our large 5'x8' south facing window is not what we do because we still have to use curtains to not fry!!! If it is 85 degrees outside it is 85 degrees inside just like before the windows were replaced! And it is NOT because of the holes for the 2 windows that DaBella missed because I covered those up insulated them.
*** came 3 days later to measure for the two windows that DaBella missed and they were completely shocked-- "Those are our same windows!" Then they asked to take a closer look. When they did, they let me know that I just paid for a *** and received ***. After inspection they saw that the windows were not as efficient as they could be or as DaBella said they would be; the glass was missing a very important lining. *** then took the time to educate me on Ufactor and Solar Heat Gain and where to find those numbers and what they mean.
After talking with *** I had to ask for a contract from DaBella to make sure that I was not in the wrong. There is nothing in the contract that specifies what is being sold. So, they made a bunch of promises and did not deliver on a single one. That is DISHONEST. I just paid $9k for brand new windows that now need replaced, and two holes in the side of my home for 2 months.
Several phone calls and a month later, I still am waiting on a resolution. If they aren't decent enough to come up with one I dispute charges made on my credit card to recover as much money as possible so that I can afford to have them replaced. Then I will send DaBella the bill for the new windows so that they can refund the rest of my money and so that they can see how much a double pane window with argon gas and metallic lined to provide a .29 Ufactor and .22 SHGC should cost.
Why is Dabella getting one star? Because they are dishonest.
So, how can DaBella do better? Be HONEST. Honest in your pricing-- Not twice as much as an honest competitor. Honest in your approach-- DaBella does not manufacture windows, DaBella does not install windows. They are a general contractor. I did not need a general contractor for a few windows. Dabella can be honest in their contracts- have everything full view, especially the specifications on the windows. Be honest in your sales tactics- don't make your product out to be something original when it is not, and guarantee your price for more than on hour, try 30 days like any other contractor. Be honest in your delivery- don't sell the customer what they want and then deliver something else.
Just met Chris from Eugene. Great experience all around. Very educated, helpful and professional.
Thank you for the five star review! We appreciate the feedback and love hearing that you had a great experience with Chris- he is one of the gems of the DaBella family and we are so glad you had a chance to work with him. We can't wait to get going on that new roof and thank you for choosing DaBella!
They gave us a good price. They were very friendly and helpful.
Thank you for the wonderful feedback, we can't wait to get you and the Mr. set up with those amazing new windows! Just a couple more weeks and you will start saving so much on energy costs, yay! Thank you for choosing DaBella and have a great day :)
Wow! Great reps came out to my home to bid the job. I was a professional roofer myself back in the day, but am getting to old and busy to do it myself. Haleigh and David represented DaBella so well. I’m already familiar with the *** line of products, but both took the time to explain some newer technology, which only makes the *** product line a more attractive value. Thanks! You two are rock stars!
... WOW! Thank you so much for the fabulous review. We couldn't be more appreciative of your kind words- especially considering your personal knowledge and background! We love hearing that Haleigh and David positively represented the DaBella brand and thank you for taking the time to write this. Thank you for choosing DaBella and we hope to earn your business!
Both Ryan L and Chandler W were very professional and presented our new windows very well! We look forward to the new windows as well as a new roof in the near future. Thank you
Thank you for the five star review! We love that you took the time to provide feedback about your experience working with Ryan and Chandler. Thank you for considering DaBella and we hope to earn your business!
Haleigh S sold us windows and sliding glass doors. She was thorough and professional. I am confident that we are getting a quality product. Great experience
Thank you so much for the lovely review. We value your feedback greatly. Have a wonderful day and thank you for choosing DaBella!
Haleigh is a true honest and thorough sales woman. She’s an excellent representative of Dabella and the work they provide. She is a pleasure to work with!
Met with representative Bella to discuss replacement of house siding. I found Bella to be very professional and well informed of her products and services. Her presentation was well organized and covered well the products the company had to offer. She was open to questions and friendly.
I have several other presentations to consider before I make a decision regarding the company and siding I will use for my project.
Darryn S was friendly, enthusiastic, and very professional. His product knowledge and presentation were excellent. I felt very comfortable with him and look forward to doing business with him in the future.
Thank you for the wonderful feedback! We here at DaBella value our customers and cannot thank you enough for taking the time to let us know how your experience with Darryn was. Thank you for considering DaBella and have a wonderful day!
I purchased a new roof back in April of 2012. But you didn't have that address listed. On June 7th we had a hard rain and I noticed a leak in the rolled roofing part of the roof. So tried calling them the next day and just got their answering machine. So left a message which they never got back to me. So e-mailed them twice which you say isn't a good e-mail address. But my server never sent me a notice either time saying it wasn't a good e-mail address. Anyway, I called a 2nd time with the same results as my first call. So waited a few days and called the 3rd time in which I did get the receptionist. She told me she would notify the installer and they would give me a call. I am yet to receive that call. I really think I have waited long enough to at least get an answer as I would like to get this fixed before it rains agian.
Hello ***,
We apologize for the delay in getting back to you, we had our service technician come out on June 29th. He reported back to us that your roof is not leaking, he indicated that it could be an issue with your gutters.
You will need to call a gutter contractor for this issue as we did not installer you gutters.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Sincerely
These people are the absolute worst. No one even showed up for the first 2 appointments. Then, when a guy did show up, to give an estimate for what it would cost to re-shingle my roof, he wasted 2 and 1/2 hours of my time trying to convince me to spend 3 to 4 times what it should cost. Do not fall for it.
Mr., Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback regarding your DaBella experience. We do apologize for the frustrations you have experienced while setting the appointment with DaBella to receive a quote for a new roof. On occasion, we do experience staffing shortages due to high demand. In such instances, we do our best to reach out to our clients and reschedule. As a trusted local company with a track record of success in the community, we strive to provide excellent service to go along with our industry leading materials and warranty. We offer premium, top of the line products and as a result, do not always have the lowest bid. We sincerely thank you for your time and for considering DaBella. We wish you the best in your home improvement endeavors.
A person from DaBella knocked on my door saying they were offering free estimates for home improvements. I told them I was not looking to do anything immediately for home improvement, but I figured since it was a free estimate it might be worth a point of reference down the road. They said they would stop by the next day at 2:00pm for free estimates of windows. Kaylee S showed up and began a very high pressure sales pitch. I told her numerous times I could not commit to anything at that moment and she would not take no for an answer. She kept focusing on the price, and again I told her I could not commit to anything since I was looking at bids and not doing anything immediate. I felt very uncomfortable and just wanted her to leave my house. I proceeded to tell her yet again I was not interested and she still would not take no for an answer. After at least a dozen times saying this, she finally left. This was the most high pressure sales pitch I have ever had to the point I had a panic attack from the anxiety that it caused. Avoid this company at all costs!
Hello ***,
After conducting a thorough investigation, we found that the sales specialist came out as you had requested a free window estimate. With that being said, a free estimate does entail giving you a price. The specialist spent about an hour in half with you, showing you about 6 different window options to trying to fit the price into your budget. After her presentation you had told the specialist that you were not ready to move forward with a project at this time. The specialist gather her window samples and left your home. DaBella was able to give you exactly what you requested a free estimate.
DaBella has a very respectable reputation in the community and we continue to perform excellent work.

First complaint, there is price gouging , customer service issues, contract issues and billing issues. First from the beginning. Dabella had two guys come over , Austin H and Dustin m***. They are selling the roof to us I'm handed me a piece of fabric underlayment. They said if I could tear that and half that I would get a free roof. I tore it during their presentation. The underlayment was called ***, it was white cloth-like material with black lettering on it. And it was really strong and durable material. Near the middle of their presentation I was able to tear the *** in half.
Immediately the younger guy said that I was supposed to tear and half before the slideshow presentation was over. I reached over and touched his *** and it slid to the next slide showing him it was not over. Baby then continue their sale and I continued the rip the *** into smaller pieces. When they finally left without a deal I called the manager to dabella. 206-554-1315. He apologized for their lack of better words cuz what he said. Then he cut me a deal taking $5,200 off their sale price. Making the whole roof installation $18,765. This included the removal and installation of the solar panels as well. I started getting shaky about this whole thing when they came and signed the paperwork with me later on they forgot the 3 digit code on the back of my car and called us 10 times to get it and even the lady from the HR department call the stew get that number... I ended up giving it to one of the two salesmen. Today it's June 12th, they called me and said that they had to create an addendum to the paperwork and told me that they needed me to hand a check to the solar people after they reinstall the solar but I needed to initial something. Upon reading this something it was to increase the financing by $5,200, very suspicious... I told them I would not sign it and had an argument via text with one of the salesman. At the end I told him I would contact my attorney which is what I will do Monday.
