We contacted Mr [redacted] about his account in case: [redacted] He had placed a buy, and the buy was canceled in our systemWe were working our way through a back log of email which is why were not able to get to his question right awayBut once he spoke to a customer service rep, we let him know the reason the buy was canceled was because of an R(insufficient funds) message from his bankHere is the email that was sent: Hi [redacted] , Thanks for your follhereSorry for the delay in respondingI understand you do not recognize IP addresses accessing your account Both IP addresses belong to Spring, your phone carrierThis suggests your account has not been compromised as you utilize Sprint as your phone carrierPhone carrier's are notorious for assigning IPs that do not match your physical locationPlease contact Sprint directly if you believe they are incorrectly assigning IPs for your connection I'm restoring access to your account as we have no evidence of unauthorized activity Please also know your $1,USD buy order was cancelled after your bank rejected our payment with (R01) Insufficient FundsWe must receive payment for your bitcoin orders, no exceptionsBank reversals damage our banking relationships and will not be tolerated going forward

Hello Mr [redacted] I am sorry for the delay in your buy on April 30thWe had a delay in our ACH buys that effected the payout dates for some of our customersLooking at your account, your buy has completed the funds were deposited into your Coinbase accountWe also responded to the email about your account in case [redacted] Here is what was said in that email: Hi there,Thank you for contacting Coinbase support.Due to extremely high purchase and deposit volume, we have been experiencing a delay of several days with ACH deposits and buy ordersAs a result, our estimated clearing date for your recent buy order or deposit was not accurate.Bank transfers normally take 3-business days to completeWe try and make that expected delivery estimate as accurate as possible, and are always looking to improve itRest assured that your transfer is safe and the funds should arrive within the next couple business days.We process bank payments using ACH transfersYou can find more information via our support [redacted] -Also note that Saturday and Sunday are not bank business days, so keep in mind that buy and sell orders, along with ACH bank deposits and withdrawals, do not process on the weekend and will also delay an order.We know that getting your funds quickly is extremely important to you, and we deeply apologize for this delay.Thanks for bearing with us as we grow with the digital currency community
