White bonded leather sectional falling apart We purchased a white sectional bonded leather sofa from City Furniture in Miami in We apparently also purchased the warranty for I believe $which at the time we were not even aware that we were getting and paying for a warrantyIn the late spring of we noticed a couple of cracks in the bonded leather which quickly escalated over the summer to heavily cracked and pieces of leather coming offIn January I went to the same store where we purchased the sofa to inquireThe sales person told me there was nothing he could do as our warranty had expiredThis is the first we even heard about having a warrantyHe said that actually they did not even carry the bonded leather any longer as there were so many problems with it , thereby admitting that they had sold us a product that was faultyHe said he could credit us $for the warranty if we bought a new sofa thereWe declined, because why would we buy another faulty item

Complete lack of responsiveness to warranty request I bought a couch and chair from City Furniture on 7/27/ I included an "In Home Service" warranty in the purchase (Invoice XXXXXX) The arm rest on the left end of the couch is leaning outwards On 3/3/I sent an email to City Furniture customer service describing the problem A picture was included On their website they state that a reply will be provided within hours On 3/6, I called City Furniture to request a status After waiting on hold for over minutes, I was told that the email had been received, but they didn't get the picture I re-sent the email and picture to Taviaj On 3/9, I called the warranty number Once again, I waited on hold for an extended period of time The person that I spoke to could see my email, but could offer no explanation as to why an appointment had not been set She said that someone would be contacting me within hours I told her that was unacceptable and ask
I purchased an adjustable mattress set on 01/20/17, and the items came broken On January 24th, I contacted MrDustin Bartko at City Furniture and made the complaint After many unfulfilled promises to replace the items, I contacted the Finance department on February 14th and made a dispute with Ray at Genesis Credit Ray recommended me to go to the store and request a full cancellation of the purchase Today, February 19th, I approached Dustin Bartko with that request, and he couldn't contact the accounting department, and promised to have a pick up date by Wednesday February 22nd
Replacement of damaged merchandise (Sofa)Invoice #XXXXXX/ On March 25, I purchased a Sofa & a Love Seat recommended by one of the sales person, [redacted] I told her clearly that I have a pet (cat) in my house and that I needed a very strong material to avoid exchanging the furniture or losing my moneyShe assured me that the furniture was very strong, that it will be impossible for the cat to tear the material which this wasn't true because the Sofa is now damaged She also told me that if something happens I will be able to return or exchange the furniture at no cost On December 9th, I contacted Quality Control at City Furniture via email to schedule an appointment to repair the sofaI then had to email them two additional times because I didn't receive any response from them, which is extremely disappointing and unprofessional My last attempt was on January 3rd, when I decided to call your Customer Service Department, which I was very disappointed

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the notes and NO offer was made by the business. The response from the business is a COMPLETE LIE! I have a witness who was with me when I purchased the furniture and also have phone records that show NO INCOMING CALLS from this business anytime after the purchase was made. This business can not produce evidence that they incurred any expense for having the furniture shipped to them. They provided no written or verbal indication that there was a delivery fee or restocking fee. City Furniture are crooks, liars and need to be out of business. Please contact me if copies of my phone records or withness contact information is required.

I called the company and spoke with [redacted] and he said that the consumer made the order on January 19 and [redacted] told said it takes 1-2 weeks for the purchase to come in. The order came in on January 27 and the company called the consumer several times and left messages. On February 1, the consumer came to the store stating they changed their mind about the order and wanted a refund. [redacted] stated that they could issue a refund but they would have to keep the $[redacted] for the shipping fee and he stated that the consumer agreed and was fine with it.
Review: On 1/18/14 I went into City Furniture and purchased a dining room set and a sofa table. I paid $734.80 via my credit card and was told the items would be delivered in one week. It has been almost 2 weeks, the store is never open and they will not answer the phone. There is no answering machine either. I was advised by the owner "[redacted]" that the items would be delivered within a week. I advised him I would be [redacted] on 2/3/14 and my household goods were scheduled to be picked up on 1/31/14. Well its the day before my furniture is being picked up and this store is apparently out of business or something. I've called a different times over the last week and a half. Gone to the store a different times of the day and nothing! I now must go throught the fraud complaint process with my bank to try and recoup the $734.80 for merchandise that I didnt receive. Please help me and other Soldiers by holding this business accountable for their fraudulent practices.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund and the business listed as an "off limit establishment" by the department of the army at Fort lee,va.
