Terrible don't ever expect your delivery to get to your place on time! I live in a condo with elevator restrictions which means when I purchase a piece of furniture city actually calls my building to confirm my delivery time! What a crock of crap today will be the second time these people have screwed up my delivery time and they try to blame it on some garbage that the system routed the truck wrong..come on twice now! Bologna no the problem is they load the truck to there convienience I'm assuming starting out west for deliveries which is where the warehouse is then working there way towards the beach period! Terrible business practice if city doesn't come to the beach until the evening then don't confirm a morning delivery period which they want to charge you a delivery fee for furniture being delivered at there convenience and not the customer!
They sent me wrong size mattress and REFUSE to allow me to select the correct one and I have had nothing but good purchases and good things to say about Ashley/City until now Product_Or_Service: Invoice XXXXXX
Beware: FRAUDULENT SALES PRACTICES! The management at this specific store will say ANYTHING to make a sale, including lying about deliveries and giving guarantees they cannot or will not keep My daughter is moving out of state to begin a new job and had a very specific delivery window in which she could accept delivery of furniture between the date she arrive and before starting work She and my wife were promised by the Ashley Furniture managers that there would be no issue getting the delivery in another state on the dates she requested (purchase made April 19, delivery window June 9-12) They lied Not only did they lie about that, they never even informed the delivery company of the very specific delivery datesafter assuring that they would do so Four times we have told them to cancel the order and we requested a full refund So far they have delayed and stalled and have yet to cancel the order They are trying to delay this to the point where we can no longer

I purchased a $600+ jute rug in February When the rug came, they took it out of the plastic and rolled it outAlthough it looked fine, it had a very strong mildew smellAt that time I was told that it was due to the plastic it was wrapped in and that it would take time to air out, at least 30-daysSince then, the smell has gotten considerably worse to the point of severe headaches and allergies associated with the smellI've spoken with the local store a few times and they have been extremely rude to me, telling me that odor issues aren't covered and there's nothing they can doI also have s call into Consumer Affairs at this timeI had a professional company come out to give me their opinion and they told me that they believe it is dry rottedI am happy to open my home up for inspection to show how the rug has been cared for; it has been in a very clean environment where the air is coolI don't think this is fair given this rug is only months old Product_Or_Servic

City Furniture is a legit bad business. With their bad sales pitch and poor customer service, they pride themselves in ripping people off. I bought a dresser and bed set spend about 1700$. Item was delivered twice damaged.(looked like it can from a thrift store) How does this happen twice. Store Manager assured me that these things can happen! Twice!! Full of excuses that are unexceptable! Had to fight to return the dresser and they are charging me a restocking fee of 60$ for something they brought broken! Really. ... I will never purchase another item from them again!
Multiple times has this company gave me a delivery date and multiple times has called and told me the item is on backorder Started 8/11/when I went into city furniture to pick a desk and a chair outThey gave me a delivery date that same week received a call that the desk and chair were back ordered so they gave me another date in august so than when we got to that week they gave me another called stating it wasnt avaliable until october I told her thats too long a wait I need to cancel she said she would get the process started never recieved any type of email that it was cancelled so I called again the new person stated it was never cancelled scheduled to be delivered september but I never approved that so then she stated well we can pick a date to get it delivered or cancel it I stated since we were so close to that september it would be fine and I would accept the deliverySeptember came around the delivery date and the delivery truck finally came after receiving

Never again would I make a purchase from City Furniture This was our first purchase and will be the last We purchase a light wood dining table from the Palm Beach Lakes location The floor model at the store had the right color tone and very minimum distressed marks on the dining table Much to our surprise, the table that was delivered to my home was anything but nice The color tone was two shade lighter and the distressed marks were deep, visible and all over the table We send pictures of the damage to contact customer service to have the table swap out The customer service representative was terrible and rude She told us that the "distress" marks are part of the design and that there is nothing they can do I explain to her that the floor model had very minimum marks and color tone was different We weren't even told by the sales representative at time of purchase that the product that we received would so much different from the floor sample City Furniture is deceptive They sell bad products and makes no accommodation for customer satisfaction Buyers be aware Ashley furniture is a sister company of City Furniture and customer satisfaction is the same way Plain bad business
I ordered small table and chairs on 11/30/from Wellington, FL store On my delivery date of 11/30/16, table and chairs were delivered I was told that on Thurs., 12/1/my 4th chair would be delivered I was given a window of 9AM - 6PM, so my husband had to stay home all day At PM, he called and was told that driver was on stop and we were stop At PM, he called and was told that we were the next stop and driver was in our area At PM, he called and was told that the driver cancelled the delivery WHAT?????? Customer service has been non-responsive and evasive. Salesman and store manager say there is nothing they can do.
