I still do not know how they got my information to send me a million letters telling me my coverage will end. But I do believe it was because I got my title switched over after buying car from a friend. [redacted] didn't care that I told her no thank you she said she can waive deposits since i'm college student. Told her I just was laid off from work so they lowered monthly amount (mind you it took her .07 seconds to get a supervisor on the line to approve it. The following business [redacted] I called to cancel it because I just didn't need it and [redacted] harassed the hell out of me with her hard sales demeanor and she even went as far as telling me, " oh so u signed up while u were unemployed so you must can afford it. " then when I told her I just don't want it she said, " oh so you want to cancel something but you haven't even received the information in the mail. Lol I said look I just don't want it and before I could continue she yelled at me to hold then she left me on hold n I cussed at her and called back. When I called back the other lady would not tell me her name do I told her she could not have mine and when I asked for supervisor [redacted] jumps on the phone and yelled I hung up on her. Lol they never transferred me they only keeped me on hold. Lol they are a scam and when I called back to ask for information they are bill me for, they said no because they cancel or shall I say " I backed out of my policy" [redacted] right I did n i'm glad. I also called my bank and canceled my card. Good riddens.
Stay away. I was lead to believe by [redacted] . I was getting a so called platinum plan when in reality I was only getting a power train plan. Thank god I looked them up. I was sent the policy by [redacted] (she was nice) but when I open it I could not read it. I immediately called the company and asked to cancel my policy. The new tech I didn't catch her name was nice and sent me to [redacted] (so called customer service manager) . I politely asked [redacted] to cancel my policy he kept going on about how he could upgrade me to the platinum policy for the same price. I told him no thank you just cancel my policy. He then started to say how they wasted so much time on me and I would not even look at the new platinum policy. I told him that's the job they choose and to just cancel my policy. He then proceeded to say if I needed the money that bad for thanks giving or christmas then just say so and that the $495 would not make or break their company. I said ok just cancel my policy and if you did not I would call my credit card company and dispute the charges. After he knew I would not give him the satisfaction or control over me he then stated he would cancel the policy. Stay away people. I am most certain this business will not last. I did call my cc company to make sure there were no charges added. So far they have not charged anything to my account. I believe we will cancel that cc and request a new one just to be on the safe side
Hard Sales approach, while you think your buying a warranty its not really what your buying. There is no guarantee they will cover the issue your having. Its subject to there discretion. Its more like a service agreement and there are many ways they can get out of covering you. This is nothing like a manufacturers bumper to bumper warranty.
I contacted my dealership and they advised against purchasing this (warranty) for the reason provided above.
They give your 30 days after your deposit to refund you. They wont let you use Amex because Amex will give you your money back easily if there is an issue. (Red Flag) But they will take Amex for your monthly payments because they don't care if you cancel once they have your deposit, In fact they say you can cancel at any time.
Even though I cancelled before the deadline and the agreed to refund me they didn't process the refund and I had to file a charge-back. I even gave them a second chance and resent the cancellation form again but still they didn't do it.
Review: The agent pressured me and was telling me different than what the contract stated. Contract was less covered. They still haven't sent cancellation form they said only trough email. Have tried to call and haven.t gotten anything else. Sent letter as contract stated still nothing. Need my money back and cancel contract. He did not tell the truth. They should not do this.Desired Settlement: Need my money back and cancel contract.
Review: I received numerous calls from CAr treaty about a car extended warranty. I spoke to an individual and thought the policy sounded good but 3 days later I changed my mind. I asked to have a full refund. The woman I spoke with said the company would mail me a check within 4 weeks. Tis event ocurred on 1/8/2016. I called them today and was told that they would refund my credit card but the woman would need to call back. Also What I did not know was that the inital premium of 459 is paid through a vendor in paris france. so on top of the fee charged to my card, I was charged 3% from my bank for a foreign fee. They did not disclose that there is a 3rd party vendor in france.
All I want is my money back and to let folks know NEVER use this company.Desired Settlement: Refund of 459 plus the 3%bank fee = 14.60
Review: On august 16, 2015 I received a call from car treaty trying to get me to purchase an extended warrenty on my 2012 Subaru legacy, I followed through with the warrenty, and on august 26,2015 I had plenty of time to cancel my warrenty within the time frame they set. I wrote them a notarized letter telling them I was not interested in the coverage. I asked them to return the money back to my visa card or by check, they said it was sent out on the 5th of October 2015, still haven't received the money back they sent me a conformation number for the check they said they sent [redacted] every time we try to call them from a number they have already answered they wont answer the phone unless we call from a new phone number. also I was told by the girl on the phone if I cancelled 30 days after the effective date that I would be able to get my full refund back.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive the money I put into the warrenty put back on my visa or send a check to reimburse me for the 2242.00 I spent on the warrenty.
Review: I purchased an auto warranty 3/25/2014 and paid on the warranty monthly for 14 of the 18 month payment plan. I cancelled the warranty on the 14 month due to dissatisfaction with the product (3-4 attempted warranty claims that were denied) . I was instructed by a customer service rep to submit documentation requesting cancellation of the product. I submitted the documentation for cancellation on august 24th. It was received on the august 24th, reviewed on august 25th, and submitted for processing on august 28th. I received an email that I would contacted about the refund within 24 hours. I was also told it would take 7-10 and 7-15 business days to receive my prorated refund this did not occur. After numerous attempts to resolve the issue by phone of when I should receive my refund, dealing with very rude customer service representatives ( [redacted] and [redacted] hung up on me three times and [redacted] said I am acting like I am getting some large check.) and being given different information each time I called (9/10, 9/15 and 9/21) , I have yet to receive my refund check or credit on my card of payment. It is now september 21, almost one month later and I am still being informed that my refund check is in the mail. No refund/credit is on record at my bank and no check has been received. My next course of action will be legal, because the practices of this company fall in line with fraudulent activity. Desired settlement: I would like a full refund for payments made to this company for their warranty product because the information given to me via the sales representative during a "recorded" sales (cold) call was that if I don't use the warranty and cancel, I would receive a full refund. This information was contradicted by the contract submitted after the sale. The product was terrible and never used. The customer service was poor and riddled with contradictive information. I believe I was scammed by this fledgling company and their practices are clearly outlined in numerous complaints on the revdex.com website.
Review: this company or its agent called my father in texas with a solicitation for auto service contract. My father is an alzheimer's patient who has been on the do not call list since 2003. The vehicle was already covered by an extended warranty. They used aggressive tactics to get him to give his debit card number which they charged $395 "down payment". They never issued a policy nor began monthly payments. When I called for refund, the service rep, [redacted] , stated, "our finance department no longer works with this vendor, no refunds are being issued. I recommend you contact your bank and request a charge back. If they call us, we will not deny anything because this is exactly what is going on. "desired settlement: - refund of $39.500
- place my father on do not call list
- warn other consumers of this company's practices
consumer response:

Review: Late in August, 2015, I received a phone solicitation to buy an extended warrantee for my 2011 Buick Regal. It was a high pressure format involving talking to multiple people. I thought the extended warrantee would be a good idea. I inquired if the vendor was indeed General Motors. I was assured it was. On August 24, I notice a charge for $2,521.00, the amount I agreed to pay, The name of the company was not GM, it was Car Treaty. A week later, I received the documentation for the warrantee. It was from Car Treaty, not GM. I called Car Treaty on September 1, 2015 and told them that I wanted to cancel the contract. I received an e-mail with a form that I needed to fill out to execute the cancellation. I both e-mailed it and faxed it. Calls to Customer service 16 Business days later gave me the information that the document had been received, the contract was cancelled and a refund would be issued. E-mails from Car Treaty indicated that I would receive the credit to my account within 7 to 10 days. I gave them 16 days before I called them. An e-mail from K Herrin in Customer Service dated September 25 stated that the request for refund would be sent to the Business Department to be processed. It is now October 10, 2015. I have received no refund. I sent another e-mail to Customer Service on October 8 and was promised a response in the return Robo-E-mail that I would hear from Car Treaty in 24 to 48 hours. I have not received a phone call. I have not received the credit to my [redacted] account. Their documents indicate that you can cancel and get a refund at any time. I have cancelled. It has been 6 weeks. I have received no refund of $2521.00. I see from other complaints on the Revdex.com website, that this is not unusual for them.Desired Settlement: I want my [redacted] account credited for the $2,521.00 I paid for the contract. I have waited an excessive amount of time for it to be processed. If they had processed the refund in a timely manner, the 7 - 10 Business Days that they promised, I would not be writing to you now. I have filed the paperwork they requested. They have stated that the contract is cancelled. Why is it taking so long to receive the credit?
Terrible company. They push sales which I totally get. My husband signed up for service with them. After doing some research and seeingn their c- rating and a million other complaints we called the same day and cancelled. They fought with us on the phone to cancel and told us we could not until we got a package in the mail and went over it with a manager. Basically so they could try and talk you back into it. We had to fight with the customer service rep and finally got it cancelled that same day. 13 days later I still see the charge for 295 dollars on my account. I called and after speaking to Lindsay who was extremely rude and even hung up on me once. I found out after fishing for answers from her they never even refunded us. Who would cancel a policy and not refund the payment. She screamed on the phone not once, not twice, but three times asking for information I already have her. Then when I asked for a call back once everything was complete she said she couldn't because they are busy . Yet the two times she hung up on me I got her back Everytime with no hold or wait. Now I'll spend another 7-10 business days waiting for my money after I was already given 2 confirmations that it was done. Oh they also try and make themselves sound like whatever car dealership you bought your car through. They told us they were with toyota. Stay away from this company.
Review: After canceling my service contract well within the 30 day full refund guarantee I have yet to receive any payment from Car Treaty for the $295 they charged for the initial deposit of the service. The cancellation was received and processed by Car Treaty on December 21, 2015. It has been over 7 weeks.
After calling a number of times and being told continually extended "typical" "processing" periods of (1) 2-3 days (2) 1-2 weeks (3) 2-4 weeks (4) up to 30 days and (5) 4-6 weeks, I have lost my patience.Desired Settlement: I want my money back. I want all $295 that this business owes me paid in full, immediately, sent directly to me or directly wired to my account.
Review: I signed up for an extended warrenty over the phone. after considering their offer I called and canceled and followed my call with a written notice which was faxed to them and they received the request per a conversation with a sales rep. that was in august 2015. I was told my refund would come within 6-8 months. Now after 4 months I still have no refund. I think this company preys on older, disabled people who are fearful that they may not be able to make repairs to their automobiles. I have called them at least once a week since this happened and have sent them email. all I get is that ,,my payment is pending and that I can expect payment within 6-8 weeks. I had told them in the beginning that I was visually and physically handicapped and my ohas to drive me everywhere and that was why my car had low mileage on the odometer. I originally spoke with someone who called himself [redacted] = of course they say he is no longer there.Desired Settlement: I would like my money returned.

Response:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belohave that w.
they evidently are servicing clients who signed contracts with them. I signed a contract and followed proceedures to stop the relationship as set out by their contract so they should honor my contract as they are honoring the others.

Review: Signed up for their coverage an 10/28. canceled 11/2 . paid $395 down and was told that I would receive my refund in 2 to 4 weeks. It is now nearly January, I still have yet to get my money back. I've been trying to do so for over a month now after I disputed the charge with my bank. This company refuses to do anything to get my money even though it was cancelled in the first 30 days as the policy stated. My last line of communication was on the 12/22 in which they told me they would call back in 2 days and help me resolve this issue. it is now 12/29 and I have been on hold for over 20 minutes as I am typing this trying to get my money back!!Desired Settlement: refund me my money as they said they would. and not tell me that its an issue with my bank.
