Regards,
In reference to a review I completed on 01-06-18. I typed the complaint fast and misspelled the company Car Treaty once. The correct date of the revdex complaint is 01-06-18. My name is listed and others are not. That's okay because the scam artist Car Treaty has continue to take advantage of many people. I want my money back asap!.
I Purchased an Auto warranty policy with Car Treaty on 11/4/15 for $1,952.00. I no longer own the vehicle as of 9-14-17 and never filed a claim for repairs. The policy was paid in full 5/4/17. I called Car Treaty on 11-22-17 to report the change and requested a cancellation form. I was instructed by Jessica to write a letter include policy number, date of sale, milege and account number. I was informed then a refund would be prorated. I mailed the letter November 23, 2017. I called CarGuard Administration and Car Treaty on December 4, 2017 to verify the receipt on my letter. Car Treaty claimed no letter found CarGuard Administration found my letter after stating it wasn't in their mail. The representative claimed she would put the information on my computer file for a refund. CarGuard Administration is on my contract as the main office to car treaty. I called car treaty back because they were the seller of the car warranty. I explained the letter was found by CarGuard Administration and to make sure my file was updated. Jessica stated everything looked fine for processing my refund. She stated it would be 10 weeks before a refund would be issued. The contract booklet stated 30 days. I read several reviews on Ripoff and looks like I was scammed. Today is January 7, 2018. I called CarTreaty and CarGuard Administration left a message about my refund. I don't think I will get my money back after reading similar stories concerning CarTready. First, I said a prayer for these people. Next, I will do everything possible to get my refund. I hope I don't have to visit 1516 Brookhollow Drive Santa Ana California or 4901 W. 136th Street, Laewood Kansas for my money. I will called back January 8, 2018 during business hours to request my refund be released immediately. Then the next steps. I paid this car warranty in good faith and will never accept these people getting away with my money.
Today is May 8, 2018. I never got the promised refund in January. Car Treaty Automobile Warranty is a scam. The crooks robbed me of $1,952 and never responded to the Revdex.com about my complaint. I see many complaints online at Ripoff, Revdex.com, Facebook and Revdex. No one was given any refunds. This person or people are taking advantage of many people and getting away with a fraudulent practice of selling fake contracts. I know Karma will happened to these crooks. The name Car Treaty is one fake name and the other name used is Car Guard. I'am presently working to get my money back. The Revdex.com was lied to by Car Treaty pretending to have good Business and Customer service in past complaints by other victims. Read the many complaints on Revdex.com,Ripoff and Facebook. Again, no one got their refunds.
Review: In Dec.2015 Car Treaty called my home. They spoke to my husband and told him they had talked to me about an extended warranty on my car and I was interested and they just needed my bank account #. He gave it to them, but told them not to do anything until I got home from work and called them. When I got home less than 3 hours later I called and told them I didn't want the policy and not to bill my account. They said fine. Then they billed my account. I called and told them about this and they said I had to cancel my policy. I said I never purchased the policy and they said I had to fill out a cancellation form to get a refund of $595.00 10 days from cancellation. On 12/26 I e-mailed back the cancellation form and they replied they had received it. On 1/15 they took an unauthorized deduction of $165.16 from my bank account for 2nd installment. On 1/26 I sent e-mail requesting my refund. They replied that received my request. On 1/27 they e-mailed me asking me to call customer service. I did and they told me I would receive a check for $760.16 (595.0+165.16) 30 days from request of cancellation (12/26). They said my policy was cancelled 0n 1/22. I have e-mail saying they received request to cancel on 12/26. 30 days had gone by already. Called 2/1 spoke to [redacted] ,said check for $760.16 was mailed on 1/30. 2/8 I e-mailed saying no check. Called and spoke to [redacted], he said I was getting check. 2/17 spoke to Jessica, said check would be here in 5 business days. Called 2/26, said check was mailed 2/25. On 3/2 I spoke with [redacted] she said check would be here by 3/10. I have all the e-mails and I recorded my conversations with [redacted] and [redacted] saying I will I would get my refund. It is 3/10 and I still don't have a check. The original call came from [redacted] from [redacted], then all correspondence was with Car Treaty. The policy is issued by Car treaty.Desired Settlement: I just want my $760.16 back.
Do not purchase anything from this company!! I perceive this company to be a scam. I am on hold everyday for 30 min or more then disconnected. After 17 attempts to contact, at 40 min each holding finally someone picked up and told me to call back the next week and have been unable to contact anyone since. Holding for 40 min is unacceptable and extremely frustrating.I canceled my EXTENDED warranty policy before it went into affect, (car was only 3 yrs old). No one could tell me what the refund amount will be or when I will receive it. while on hold there is a message to contact them on their email if you don't want to hold, but when you send an email there is auto response in seconds that says to call their phone number.
Review: They called my father on the phone - he is 81 years old. They persuaded him to purchase an extended warranty on a 2011 Buick Lucerne that he doesn't even own anymore. I was not made aware of this until two months had passed. They told him that it would be $395.00 total for the warranty. They have been charging $173.40 per month to his credit card since September 2015 and have continued ever since. I finally contacted the credit card company to stop the withdraw until this can be resolved. The last payment was January 2016. He has never received a policy or any kind of paperwork from this company - absolutely nothing except the initial telephone call. I tried contacting them in December 2015 - no one would answer the phone. I was finally able to reach Omnisure (which is the name listed on the credit card statement) in February 2016. They said they would stop withdrawing the monthly payments from his credit card. They were able to provide me with another phone number for Car Treaty - they sent me a "request for cancellation" which I sent to them in February. I haven't heard from them since faxing this form back to them.Desired Settlement: He has now paid approximately $867.00, which is a far cry from the $395.00 they initially quoted him for a car he no longer owned. I understand that he is elderly, however, this is definitely a scam. I am looking to receive a full refund in his name for a policy that he didn't need and never received ANY paperwork on.
Review: They don't answer their phone. I have been on hold for over 1 hour with phone record to prove it. They collected over $300 and I did not receive paperwork to read the warranty policy in a resonable time. Calling to cancel and they will not answer.Desired Settlement: Refund my money and do not contact me again.

To Whom it may concern,
I have tried unsuccessfully to contact Car Treaty during my 30 day trial. I cannot get thru and the website is out of service. I had to cancel through my credit card company. I still cannot get a return email or call from them.
Review: On Sept. 11, 2015 I called the 1-800 # on the card that I received in the mail to activate the coverage on my vehicle. That same day, $395.00 was deducted from my checking account. On Sept. 15th I called Car Treaty and told them that I wanted to cancel the coverage because my wife decided to sell the car. They said I would have to cancel by completing a cancellation form, which I sent by e-mail that day. They said it would take up to 30 days for the funds to be deposited back into my account. In October my wife [redacted] called Car Treaty again and asked where the funds were. They said it would take 30 days from the time the cancellation form was sent but there must have been a problem with the Finance Office. They said they would check with Finance and get it resolved. On Nov. 16, 2015, I called again. They said they would check with Finance and call me back. To date, they have not called back and the funds have not been deposited yet. It won't do me any good to keep calling because they keep giving us the same story. I seriously don't believe this company will give me back the $395.00 I paid because they are disreputable.Desired Settlement: Seeking help to receive a refund for cancellation of policy.
Review: I cancelled my contract just one week into a 30 day trial period in which the company states a 100% guarantee refund policy if done so. This was done 9/18/2015. I was told it takes 7-10 days to process the refund. After that time passed I called and spoke to a rep who stated he wasn't sure why it hasn't been processed but he'll 'run right over to the finance dept.' and have it taken care of, just give 3-5 days more. Another week and a half goes by and I again call to find out what's taking so long. This rep tells me now 'our policy is actually 30 days until the refund is processed'. After that time has passed I call once again and spoke to the same rep who states 'she doesn't know why it's taking that long and she has no affiliation with the finance dept'. Funny, one rep can 'run right over' and the other 'has nothing to do with the finance dept.' She then states her manager will have to look into this and oh by the way, she's not in today. I'm sick and tired of the run around.Desired Settlement: I would like my full refund of $595.00.
Review: This company made a charge of $395 for a policy I cancel on time to have a full refund on my credit card. I sign the proper cancellation forms and a person name [redacted] acknowledge reception of the forms and confirm I will get a full refund. This was in July 2014 and never got the money back. Tried to contact this place several times both by email and phone and nobody answered or returned my calls. Last week (March 4th) somebody answer the phone and said they have made the refund [redacted] , I asked for proof of this and so far he hasn't send anything to me. I have copies of documents and emails that proof all this information. Desired Settlement: Want a full refund of $395 on my credit card.

To whom it may concern,
Review: I bought the service and then immediately tried to cancel. They say you can be refunded multiple times before you purchase their product but as soon as you try and get your refund, nobody will talk to you. I have sent 4 requests to their customer service department without any response. They also have not started billing me for the sevice I signed up for, they were nly took my downpayment and dissappeared. So they have no reason at all not to refund my paymentDesired Settlement: I just want my money back like they assured me.
Review: I purchase a car warranty on or around 5/23/2015 and canceled the policy on 6/17/2015 (under their 30-60 day time frame for cancelation). They said they would refund the deposit in 7-10 business days, but as of today I have now received a refund. The contact number is [redacted]. Vendor info on the contract is CAR TREATY, 1516 Brookhollow Drive, Santa Ana, CA 92707, 888-554-7232. I have email them twice with no response and have called several times, but gave up after 20+ minutes of waiting. I am looking for a refund of $295.00, which they collect when I first signed up. I have the cancelation found that was email to them if needed.Desired Settlement: I would the company the refund my funds ($295.00) bank into my account as they said they would.
I really am happy that I didn't cancel this policy like I initially thought after reading these reviews. I have only had a good experience with them, they were very informative about the different service contracts they offer and I like how they lowered my costs for me.
Thank you folks for all your help with this!
Stay away from this company - they talked to my 88 yr old father and convinced him to give them his credit card and they charged him $2,995 ! - I called the credit card company and reported fraud and they canceled his card - they pray upon the elerly
Review: I paid a downpayment to open an extended warranty on my car. This was $295.00. They said I had 30 days to cancel with a full refund. So I cancelled within a week, thinking it would be too expensive to maintain. So I filled out the form and sent it to them. Then indicated the refund could take (on different calls) 14 business days, 30 business days 3-5 business days, and next week. I have called them every other day and continue to get different answers.
On one call they individual said they were walking the paperwork over to the finance manager, and I should have it in 5 business days. Well that has come and gone, so I informed the last caller I would file a complaint.Desired Settlement: All I want is a refund that was promised to me on numerous occasions.
Review: car treaty call my home and talk me into buying this warranty insurance for my 2009 [redacted] gray in color. I was not sure if I really wanted this insurance so I asked them to call me back so I can talk to my spouse, mr reno said if I don't take it now I would not get another offer like this one. When they a sure me if I purchase the warranty and I don't like the contract they would refund me back my money, this was june 1, 2015. They wanted to send the contract in the mail I told them no, so the contract was e-mailed to me because I wanted more time to read it and take the contract to [redacted] to read as car treaty recommended to me. On june 9, 2015 I called and cancelled the warranty purchase of $395.00. All I want is my money back nothing else. I waited and started calling the second week after I cancelled the purchase, every week they say "oh it's in the mail" or we just mailed it, it will be there by monday by friday by wednesday every week the same story. I know it don't take a month for mail because I got a $100.00 rebate card seven (7) after purchase.

to whom it may concern,
Review: I purchased their platinum plus warranty in November, under the assumption that I was extending my original manufacturer's warranty. I did an internet search on the company, and I was surprised to not only find that they didn't have a website, but multiple Revdex.com complaints were among the first search results. I called on 12/17/15 to cancel my plan and request a refund, but I was put on hold to a line that went straight to a voice mailbox that was full. After reading the other Revdex.com complaints, I'm certain that I will not get a refund directly from them.Desired Settlement: My desired outcome is to get a full refund of my initial deposit of $295, and my December payment of $88.33, for a full total of $383.33

Review: I have been trying to contact Car-Treaty via email and telephone to no avail regarding a refund for a cancelled policy. According to my policy I had 30 days to cancel for a full refund. I cancelled on day 30. I made contact via email and fax for the cancellation. I received an email from Car Treaty stating my policy had been cancelled and I would receive a refund with 7-10 days. To date I have not heard anything from them. I have called 3 times this week and was placed on hold by the automated system for over 30 minutes. When on June 10, I originally held for 40 minutes to have someone pick up the phone and immediately place me on hold for an additional 15 minutes before I finally disconnected the call.Desired Settlement: I would like someone from Car-Treaty to contact me in writing informing me of the status of my refund and give me a definite date of when the refund will be processed back to the original form of payment used.
